21  Economy / Auctions / My (entire) signature for 1 month as ad space on: March 07, 2012, 04:48:41 PM
Good day ladies and gentlemen,

I am hereby auctioning off my entire signature for 1 entire month. Your ad will be the only thing in my signature for the entire month.

I am a serious and long time user of the forums. I have sold my signature several times before in 1 month intervals, and have always honored my word, most often with extra days than the agreed month even.

There are no limits, except it has to be legal and allowed per the forum rules.

There is no lower limit, so if you are the only bidder with 0.00001 BTC, you win.

The auction will end 24 hours from the timestamp of this post, and the highest bidder gets his way.

Bid away.

Are there any other sites offering bitcoin freerolls, other than Seals With Clubs?

What is your Bitcoin New-Years Resolution?

I am interested in knowing.

Mine will be same as 2010: Acumulate wealth in BTC, and possibly donating some to good causes.

Isn't the bitcoin sky falling anymore?

Still hoarding Cosby Coins? Wink
27  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin stability on: November 12, 2011, 11:40:12 AM
So we have finally gotten it: STABILITY!

I think it's great, the price hovers around 3, and the market seems to have decided on a base value for bitcoins.

This is not good news for currency speculaters, but great news for bitcoins as a currency used for trade.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / MtGox's dead could endanger bitcoins as a whole on: October 22, 2011, 10:42:07 AM
It's been said before, and it holds true as ever.

Can anything really be done about this, or should we just keep placing our faith in this 1 company?

Just think of the market share they have!
29  Economy / Services / Renting my signature as ad space on: September 23, 2011, 07:42:55 PM
The title says it all really, PM me with an offer, or yell at me in this thread for selling my signature space! Wink
30  Economy / Services / Selling my signature as ad space on: July 30, 2011, 08:54:45 PM
Hello dear messieurs (and madames if any!)

I hereby offer my signature on this forum for sale as ad space.

I will offer it in 1 month, starting from when I change the signature after recieving payment. (and will probably let it sit for extra days like I have done before)

I have been true to my word (and actually more than that) before, which is evident by my currect signature, which is an ad that I have held for more than 1 month. Before this my current ad, I had one for the bitcoin sun.

I am active on these forums whenever I have the chance, and I don't make annoying/spammy/hateful or such posts...

Picture in signature/right to be the sole advertiser may cost extra.

Post in this thread if you are interested, or send me a PM with an offer. Smiley
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I just got hacked! on: July 26, 2011, 02:46:12 PM
Hello fellow bitcoiners.

Learning the hard way last time MtGox was hacked, I made a seperate e-mail account for use on bitcoin related sites I don't really trust.

Now that e-mail has been hacked, and I have just recovered my access to it.

The hacker, according to gmail, was:

Browser  Lithuania (78.58.51.114)  Jul 25 (16 hours ago)

Only thing he could have compromised using this e-mail is my account with bitbetter, the other accounts I had made using this e-mail were worthless stuff.

Just though I would let you guys know that people are actively trying to access e-mail adresses used for bitcoin related stuff!
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BitcoinBonus - Anyone knows anything? on: July 22, 2011, 12:39:32 PM
Hey guys,

I have used BitcoinBonus.com and by referring people there, I have earned some BTC on the site.

The site had some downtime, but is now seemingly up and running again.

I have, however, not been able to withdraw the BTC I have earned since the site came back up.

I have tried messaging the owner, but to no avail.

Does anyone else have BTC owed to them by bitcoinbonus, or does anyone have any info?

34  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Your name/text in cool hand-written graffiti style letters! on: June 11, 2011, 11:16:03 AM
I offer to write your forum nickname or other such in a funky graffiti style that will leave your friends all "OMG WTF, WHY ARE YOU SO COOL ALL OF A SUDDEN?Huh?" and your mother may be all "OMG WTF, ARE YOU LIKE A GANGSTER NOW?Huh?" And your father might be all "OMG WTF, I AM SMOKING A PIPE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT REAL FATHERS DO" etc.

The endlessness is possible, here is an example of what I can do:

I will do it in a couple of different styles maybe, so you can choose the one you like.

Order first, pay later. Pay what it is worth to you.

36  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Will draw for BTC on: June 11, 2011, 10:58:24 AM
Hi there!

I am desperately trying to earn my first bitcoin, and the only thing I can think of doing online is drawing.

Now, trouble is, I am not very good at it: I will however try my best.

This is my signature character, I will draw it in any way you like, say you want a tripping bizzare one, or a classy one I can do that. I will add text of your choice and have him hold it as a picket sign if you want:

Just donate to this address: 1PNG37va9KvPeDjGvyQf69nDEtZ6iZXJ17

Any donation will result in a drawing. If I recieve no orders on what to draw, and just get a donation on the above mentioned address, I will simply draw another variation of my signature character Cheesy

I draw in hand on paper, take a picture of it and upload to imgur.

Edit: If you have requests, you don't have to donate anything untill I have fulfilled your request, and only donate what you think it's worth.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A way to secure Bitcoin, even if mining becomes unprofitable! on: June 05, 2011, 02:16:52 PM
Hello good sirs of the internets.

This post is reluctantly accepting as a premise of it's proposed solution, that the doomsday-sayers are right, and that mining may at some point become unprofitable.

What I suggest is, that a independent organisation is set up, with the sole purpose of mining BTC.

The organisation will be non-profit, and all proceeds that it creates from mining, it will use to keep itself running. In other words, it will be self-sustainable as far as possible.

This also means, that as long as mining is profitable, this organisation will hoard funds, since it will spend less that it will have as an income. These funds will then be used in the event that mining becomes unprofitable, where the organisation will then continue mining at a loss.

It will have to be started from donations ofcourse, and it's probably not very realistic or do now, but rather something that can be done along the way, if BTC starts becoming a serious world wide currency with billions of dollars of value in it.

The point of this post is simply to give an idea of how the problem, that may or may not exist down the road, can be handled.
38  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Spend a few minutes and get 0.005 BTC for free. on: June 04, 2011, 10:53:22 PM
Hello good sirs, how are we today? Splendid! Now let us conduct business affairs like gentlemen.

The way this works is:

1. Register an account on this site: bitcoinbonus.com

2. Use the bonus called "Get 5 DoBits when you register at Bitcoin Bonus"

3. Recieve the 0.005 BTC on the address you provided, and smile! Smiley

If you use the link I provided here, I will also get 0.005 BTC when you sign up, so I hope you will do that, since it doesn't cost you anything to do so, and you won't get any more BTC if you sign up without it.

Once you are signed up, you will get your own referral link, which you can send to your friends and then you will be in my position, and earn 0.005 every time you get someone to do that, while your friends will also get 0.005! Smiley

Hope you enjoy it, those 0.005 might be worth a small fortune one day, who knows? Smiley
