Now you can earn more profits than any other mining software on the market if you are using LHR graphics cards with NiceHash QuickMiner.
Support for NiceHash Miner is coming soon.

This also makes it more advantageous than mining direct to a pool, since other software is not capable of unleashing the full capacity of your hardware.

I can't test myself, as my rig doesn't run Windows and isn't physically near me.
I'm curious if it really works, and with which cards.

The company is teasing the arrival of the Radeon RX 6000 GPU series with an Easter egg inside the hit game Fortnite. Gamer Gina Darling noticed it while visiting AMD’s Battle Arena in Fortnite. After entering a phone booth inside one of the maps, her character was transported to a secret “AMD Radeon” room that contains a special console.

After entering the numbers “6000” into the console, the room then displayed the words “Something Big Is Coming to the AMD Battle Arena.”

The key word is “Big,” an apparent reference to the “Big Navi” graphics cards AMD has been indicating would arrive some time this year to address the high-end PC gaming market.

On Twitter, executives with AMD confirmed the Fortnite Easter egg, and hinted there were more hidden secrets concerning the upcoming GPUs. “Right under your noses Smiley

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Radeon Pro WX 2100 and WX 3100 (Polaris architecture) on: June 14, 2017, 03:36:02 AM
What do you think the performance will be for mining ?

AMD has recently added two new offerings to their WX series of professional, workstation-oriented graphics cards.
The WX 2100 and WX 3100 are entry-level offerings for the professional market, with 512 stream processors running at 1,219 MHz on a 14 nm graphics processor based on the Polaris architecture.
The RX 2100 features 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 64-bit interface; the RX 3100 doubles those figures to 4GB of memory on a 128-bit interface.

On performance, AMD said that the soon to be released WX 2100 and WX 3100 deliver up to 2x the performance of previous entry-level professional AMD graphics, and up to 28% faster performance than competing NVIDIA offerings.
The WX 2100 is expected to cost $149, while the WX 3100 is expected to go for $199.
AMD said the Radeon Pro WX 2100 and WX 3100 are both expected to launch in June; an exact date wasn't provided.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Radeon Vega RX (consumer cards) - More news at SIGGRAPH 2017 on: May 31, 2017, 04:20:01 AM
AMD has finally announced a date where they’ll announce the consumer-oriented Radeon RX Vega. The mythical card’s launch will be taking place at SIGGRAPH this year.
SIGGRAPH is an interesting choice for a venue, as it’s not a consumer event (as opposed to say E3 or IFA), but AMD is no stranger to the show, having launched their Radeon WX professional products there last year.
SIGGRAPH runs from July 30th to August 3rd, so it’s almost exactly 2 months out.

The presentation for Vega at Computex wasn't good...
They used two Vega cards to run Prey at 4K, and there was screen tearing.
A GTX 1080Ti can get about 88FPS with high minimums. I'm considering buying a GTX1080Ti now, instead of waiting...

It is coming late June for the scientific/enterprise market.
It seems to be using two PCI-E 8 pins connectors for the power (image)

What do you think the performance for mining will be ?
And the price ?

Edit : AMD just launched their Radeon Vega Frontier Edition card. It is a 'mission intelligent' enterprise graphics card for professional usage (data-crunching) and product designers, and yes it is not for PC gamers.
The card comes with 16 GB of HBM2 graphics memory and will perform in the 13 TFLOP (fp32) performance bracket. It will be available late June.

17  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC-E EUR Sepa Withdraw on: November 17, 2013, 02:15:26 AM
Hello,

Until now I've been using MTGox but it's now very long to withdraw funds : MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering]

I saw that BTC-E offers EUR withdraws via SEPA.
The minimum fee is high (100€) but interesting if you want to withdraw more than 10k as the fee is only 1% after.

Did somebody already tried a EUR Sepa Withdraw on BTC-E ?
How long did it take to receive your funds ?

Thanks,
AFox

Quote
European customers: Please note that our gold products are now exempt from VAT tax in the European Union under EU Council Directive 98/80/EC, and are marked as such on your customs forms!

Merci,
AFox
20  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / 2302TH added by KNCMiner, difficulty to 358 885 145 before November on: July 24, 2013, 11:18:01 AM
Hello,

I made an estimation from this topic, that is listing the order from KNCMiner.

For the moment :
  • 104 orders are listed and there are less then 4100 orders made
  • On the 104 orders, there is a total of 116 Jupiters, 56 Saturns and 8 Mercury ordered.
  • Every order that is made will be shipped (with next day option) before November

I simply applied the rule of three.
It gives these numbers :
On the 4100 orders, there is an estimated total of 4573 Jupiters, 2207 Saturns and 315 Mercury ordered.
That is a total of 2302TH ! And it will only go up until KNCMiner blocks the orders or says that they will deliver new orders in November or later.

We are at 214TH.
If I add Avalon Batch 3 (53TH) and KNCMiner (2302TH) it gives us 2569TH.
That gives us a difficulty of 358 885 145 = ((2569x10^12)x600)/(2^32) before November.

Are you scared ?
