Ether-arts is an ERC721 standard backed art lottery ticket, which combines art and games. Based on the Ethereum blockchain, this new collectible can provide direct Ethereum compensation to the participants. Applying blockchain ensures that the user’s data and ownership are safe and the value of the digital collectible is protected as its issue volume is limited.

Each card issued has its own color property. Although the paintings/artwork might be different, cards with the same color property will have the same price and same publishing amount. The color properties are listed below.

Special Cards (Amber, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond) are not for sale and will be listed only for marketing purpose. Each special card has two recipe cards and a player with two recipe cards can get that particular special card for free. However, the supply is limited.

PURCHASING A CARD
Each ether-arts card’s price and supply amount is unique based on its color property and can be purchased at a fixed price from the website

SMALL PROBABILITY GAME AT 50% DISCOUNTED PRICE
If a user wishes to play but feels that the cards are too expensive, they can opt for a small probability game that allows them to pay 50% of the price of each card. The smart contract will then decide if the user can get the card or not based on a random number which is fair and transparent.

WINNER SELECTION
With this new blockchain game, players can get rewarded by the periodic lottery system, where every 10 days [days ending with 5, such as 5th, 15th, 25th], the smart contract chooses the 2 winner cards. Players holding these selected cards are given Ethereum rewards under a predefined policy.

The lottery algorithm receives random numbers from an external trustworthy source like wolfram alpha. What makes the external source more reliable is that the random number generated within the blockchain ecosystem can be unsafe and predictable, making the external source fair, provable, and transparent.

One winner card is selected from all the card types issued so far, Another winner card is selected from N recently issued cards. Since old card type can be the winner, every ether-arts card will have value even though it is old. Also since one winner card will be from recently issued cards, there always will be people who willing to buy recent cards. The N constant is 30 by default, but team have a right to change this constant to manage game's difficulty configuration.

REWARD POLICIES
Players who own both the winner cards will be the “first prize winners”. The first winners will share 45% of the total rewards fund and the rewards is equally divided if there is more than 1 winner. A player will be considered as the “second prize winner” if they own either of the two winner cards selected, with a shared reward of 35% of the prize pool. As there are only 2 winner cards, the 2nd prize winners are divided into two group and the second prize money can vary from user to user depending on the total supply of the cards owned and the number of people falling under this category.

For instance, cards A and B are winners. Group A, consisting of players who owned only card A and they will share 17.5% of the rewards fund, and group B, consisting of players who owned only card B will share 17.5% of the rewards fund. As 45% of the reward fund is shared by the first prize winners and 35% is shared by the second prize winners, the remaining 20% of the reward fund is transferred to the next round's prize pool. This acts as a small motivator for new customers and ensures that the reward fund of the next round is not zero. USER-TO-USER CARD EXCHANGE MARKET
Integrated into the website, the user-to-user card transaction functionality helps the players sell an ether-arts card that they no longer need, at a favorable price of their choice. The prize is required to be registered at the "my collection" menu. All cards, even if they are up for sale, will be owned by the original owner until the cards are sold. Additionally, before the cards are sold, the original owner can also claim the mission rewards. The reward is assigned to owner’s wallet address, not to ether-arts card itself.

COPYRIGHT OF A PICTURE
Ether-arts respects the artists’ copyright and has entered into a copyright contract with 12 artists from around the world, as of February 2019, for using their artworks in the card design. The artists are paid a royalty of 10% of the total amount of the cards sold.

Furthermore, Ether-arts also has its own artwork created by the team’s own deep-learning algorithm. The special cards tagged with the artist name “ether-arts.io” use the artwork generated by AI and the copyright of these pictures belongs to the ether-arts.io team.

In the case of classical paintings, 70 years after the artist’s death, the copyright expires in most of the countries and ether-arts uses these artworks as their commercial use is then allowed.

BOUNTY PROGRAMS
From now on, we will launch various bounty programs for users who can help improve the service of Ether-arts.io. The bounty program will continue to run after the launch of the service, and will provide appropriate compensation by objectively assessing the contribution. Compensation is an ether-arts card of various price ranges.

During open beta testing period (~5 APR, 2019), bounty cards are paid to people who find logical bugs on the website and github contract. ETHER-ARTS CARDS
The Ether-arts is a collectible art card with a built-in lottery ticket function. The Smart contract accumulates 50% of total card sales to create a pool of rewards, and choose two new winner card types every 10 days. If there are lots of winners, they share the reward pool using predefined rules. If there's no winner, the reward pool is accumulated into the next lottery's reward. ARTS
Famous artists' loved paintings, paintings by contemporary artists, and paintings created by AI technology are used as card artworks. For contracted artists, 10% of the total sales will be automatically paid to the copyright holder. If you are an artist having great artworks, feel free to contact us. We already have more than 10 artists contracted world-wide.

MARKET
Players can purchase cards at a fixed price from the MARKET menu on the Ether-arts.io website. To enjoy Ether-arts properly, please use metamask, an ethereum wallet in Chrome and Firefox browsers. We have completed ethereum based dapp first. And now planning to expand our services to the TRON / EOS blockchain as well.

ROLL
If you feel that the price on the MARKET menu is expensive, I would like to ask you to consider the ROLL game. There is a great chance to obtain ether-arts cards at 50% discounted price. If you bet 50% of regular price of card, you will have chance to get a card at a probability of 50%. A random number determines the winner. Our contracts are designed to receive random numbers through trusty provider : Wolfram Alpha. Also our roll engine is written in ethereum smart contract, which is transparent, fair and provable. We can guarantee that 50% out of all cases, players win. The participants have to know that it also means that on the other 50% cases, they will lose their chances and game fees.

SPECIAL CARDS
If you already have several Ether-arts cards, you can get a new card without additional purchases. [출처] http://blockchainnews.co.kr/news/view.php?idx=3504&mcode=m9665r1 요즘 밋업이나 세미나에 가보면 발표자들은 대개 최근의 암호화폐 급락에 따른 침체된 시장 분위기를 "겨울이 찾아왔다"에 비유하면서 매우 힘든 표정을 짓는다. 그러나 필자의 생각은 다르다. 이제야 따스한 봄 날씨를 되찾았다는 느낌이 가득하다. 사실 작년 5월 이후 지난여름까지 시장 분위기는 40도를 오르내리는 찜통 같았던 이상기후와 다를 바 없는 이상과열 상태 그 이상 그 이하도 아니었다. 말도 안 되는 백서 하나 가지고 수십억원은 기본이고 수백억에 이르는 투기자금이 몰려다닌 그 시기는 네덜란드의 튤립 투기와 더불어 인류 2대 버블 사태로 기억될 것이 분명하다. 시장에서 버블이 사라지고 냉정한 투자자와 제대로 된 프로젝트들이 나타나는 이 시기가 이제는 최적의 엔젤투자 시기가 다가온 것으로 보므로 필자는 "봄날이 왔다"는 표현을 쓰면서 매우 반갑기만 하다. 사실 ICO 이전, 우리나라의 엔젤투자는 그야말로 '속 빈 강정' 그 이상 그 이하도 아니었다. 잘 알려진 바와 같이 우리나라 주식투자자의 수는 약 400만 명에 이른다. 그리고 연 5~8% 수준의 이익을 내기 위해 P2P 대출상품에 투자하는 투자자들은 약 30만 명으로 추산된다. 이에 비해 정부에서 허가해준 인디고고, 킥스타터와 같은 형식처럼 P2P 크라우드펀딩으로 스타트업에 투자하는 투자자들은 놀랍게도 채 2000명이 안 된다. 엔젤투자에 적극 나설 것으로 누구나 당연히 생각하는 벤처캐피털의 엔젤투자는 전무하다고 할 수 있을 정도로 형편없는 수준이다. 결국 2000년 인터넷 버블 이후, 우리나라에서 뛰어난 재주와 사업 계획을 가지고도 엔젤투자를 받는 것은 거의 불가능했다. 스타트업에 투자해 상장까지 가는 데 평균 13.1년이나 걸린다는 벤처캐피털협회의 발표를 보더라도 기존 방식의 엔젤투자는 일반인들의 호응을 얻기 힘든 것이 사실이다. 이런 답답한 상황에서, 사업 아이디어를 믿어 투자를 해주고 코인으로 받아 상장 이전에도 매매가 가능하여 투자금의 유동성을 극대화시킨 ICO가 탄생했다. 이를 통해 최근 투자처를 찾지 못한 부동자금으로 시중에 떠도는 자금이 약 1117조원에 이른다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. ICO에 투자금이 몰린 것은 당연하며 충분히 이해할 만하다. 반면에 어처구니없는 사기성 ICO가 범람하면서 알트코인과 암호화폐에 대한 투자자의 관심이 냉소적으로 돌아섰다. 설상가상으로 비트코인캐시 하드포크와 미국 SEC의 조사 강화 소식에 비트코인을 비롯한 암호화폐 가격이 급락하면서 시장은 아예 꽁꽁 얼어붙었다는 자조적인 표현이 나돌기 시작했다. 그러나 필자는 이 상황을 다르게 본다. 이상기후가 정리되고 이제는 검증된 프로젝트와 신뢰할 수 있는 멤버들로 구성된 제대로 된 블록체인 사업체가 나타나고 있으며 투자자들은 아직도 검증되고 수익성이 기대되는 프로젝트에 투자하려는 의지가 강한 것을 확인했기에 새 봄날이 왔다는 느낌을 지울 수 없다. 더구나 IEO 가이드라인과 같이 업계 내에서 자율규제 형태의 자정 움직임도 적극 나타나고 있으며 메인넷의 개발을 비롯해 지지부진하던 프로젝트들이 이제 서서히 결과물을 보여주고 있기에 분위기도 좋아지고 있다고 본다. 2019년에는 분명 시대를 앞서갈 블록체인 기반의 프로젝트들이 기존의 전통적인 인터넷 시장 강자들에게 도전장을 내밀며 암호화폐 시장을 새롭게 리드할 것으로 믿는다. 이렇게 시장을 과거의 암울했던 ‘엔젤투자 부재’의 시대를 기준으로 바라보면 우리는 무한한 희망을 가질 수 있다. 이제 일반인들도 누구나 쉽게 투자하고 빠른 투자 회수가 가능하며 뛰어난 능력과 아이디어가 있고 신뢰할 수 있는 팀원이 있다면 누구나 세계로 나갈 수 있는 새로운 시장이 열렸다. 그야말로 ‘봄’이다. 신근영(한국블록체인스타트업협회 회장)
