Tips for Respective Bitcoin HOLDERS :

Types of Bitcoin SCAMS :

1) Never trust anyone who says Invest your bitcoins here/there and we will show how they grow down the line ! Never trust anyone and transfer your bitcoins into any wallet,once they are gone they are gone forever ! So please !

2) Any one threatening saying they know your secrets and request you for Bitcoins,dont even care just hit the delete button !

3) Anybody calls you and says they are from your exchange and request for access/password,just hangup the call !

4) Whatever stories you hear or told,never let your bitcoins leave your WALLET AT ANY COST !

5) Dont buy bitcoins from anyone who says they are selling for cheap ! Buy only from Trusted Exchanges !

Just dont care and move on for any of the above !!

The most existing Mining scam,beaware :

Scammer : Please create a blockchain wallet and just send me the loging details,let the wallet be empty !

You : I dont want to share my login details !

Scammer : The wallet is empty and I need to connect you to the mining pool and I need the login details !

You : Ok let me share

Scammer : Ok I connected you to the wallet but there should be a minimum amount of btc in your wallet ,so please deposit

You : You would deposit and then they are gone forever as he already stole your wallet pass phrase !

So dont trust these Forex Traders or Minining helps ! They are just SCAM SCAM SCMA ! Stay safe guys !

Iam one of those unfortunate soul who was scammed by few scammers who called themselves as Coinbase Customer care,called me and robbed my bitcoins ! How insane !! I did my research and found that these Indian accent guys are paind 20k rupees for calling and moving bitcoins from ours to their and the winners are the heads of these call centers ! Its our hard earned money at the cost of their scamming and evil brains !!

Stay safe guys,we had the biggest loss but dont want this to happen to anyone else ! Please keep you passwords safe/never trust the spam emails and calls whi cyou receive !

I know once you are scammed and robbed,its hard to reverse the Bitcoin Transaction ! But any of you were ever scammed and were returned your bitcoins by the scammers ! This is not a great topic but was curious if there is a Robinhood in the scammers ! Guys I meant scammers,few mine bitcoins few use their hard earned moeny to buy bitcoins,please dont grab away from the innocent souls !!

I had my BTCs on GDAX and were stolen and the transaction was unauthorized by me which is obvious they were hacked.
I immediately called them in two hours as I relaized the BTCs were gone from the Wallet.
Would they help me with the refund.ITs worth 4.5 BTCs.
Any inputs on how to work on this?
Are the BTCs insured on the Wallets?

Please find the below numbers of the scammers,which say they are from GDAX,COINBASE and KRAKEN.

Trying my best to alert you guys,so you wont loose your BTCs,I know there are lot of Tech gigs here but at the same time just a friendly alert to all doesnt harm.

Have informed Kraken / GDAX and Coinbase on the same

Kraken doesnt have phone support.

GDAX and Coinbase has phone support but the numbers are on their original website and have very minimal support as they deal everything via email.

Please stay safe and these scammers change their support numbers on daily basis.So no surprise to see new numbers on daily basis as of now the numbers are as below and its the same group I guess with just different numbers.

Hello All,
Let me once brief out the story of my BTCs stolen by the Hackers.
My GDAX account stopped me letting in on one fine day and I tried emailing GDAX support in this regards.But to my surprise I got a call saying they are from GDAX support[where GDAX support never calls any] saying they would help retrieving the account.
They tried getting on to my system through system connect to check the issue but as it was locked nothing could happen,obviously when you loose access to your system you would trust a call from support and their access to your system.
For a week I didnt get access to my systems and finally got it on a weekend on Saturday and I was fine about it and dindt do any transaction.
As usual on Monday Morning I logged into my GDAX account to trade and looks like my systems already had a virtual access [Iam using Home Network only].Looks like my system was taken over the control.And to my surprise all the BTCs were transferred which was an unauthorized transaction.
So it was my login and Iam on the systems which shows my IP address obviously.I didnt even realize about the transaction for two hrs and realized and then called GDAX support after finding their number on their original website and reported the unauthorized transaction.They started their investigation but as Iam logged in it obviously showed my IP but have done my research and found it on bitcoinwhoswho.com the IP address was different.
Such an insane situation,on one side it was your loss and on the other side the blame is on you.Couldnt come over this but still a ray of hope existing.
The lessons learnt :
1)Never give any info over info and make sure if its for sure support.First thing support people never call you and never ask you for your system access.
2)Never give any of your personal info/private key info/phrases to any one your dont know.
3)Enable 2FA password[ofcourse I had one]/get the wallet into secure zone as much as possible.
More advices and security measures or any help to recover the BTCs would be of great help in this tight situation mates.

Hello Bitcoiners,

Finally today was able to find the address to which our stolen BTCs were sent and I see that the wallet address was created on Blockchain.info ,also I was able to see the transactions done by the scammers the same day including mine Sad

Is there a way where I can reach Blockchain.info and update them about this Fraud,so they can provide the Wallet owner details?

Appreciate any inputs !

Looks like they have robbed alot of people from the transactions I see.

Firstly I appreciate the Beautiful Block Chain Technology but after

Have anybody lost/got stollen their Bitcoins due to Fradulent activity and the best ways to get/retrieve them back.However the accounts have been locked but the damage was already done.I got to know that somebody transferred the Bitcoins into an external address only by myself after checking my account which had 0 coins after two hours of the transfer was done,immediately called my Wallet customer care where they locked my account to hold off on the further transactions but thought two hours was not too late to hold off the transaction but it was already done.4.5 BTCs just got off and my heart broke.

When I buy a Bitcoin it takes a week to be delivered into my account but when a fraud happens the transfer went on immediately Sad..Wish these scammers are punished and there is a little enhanced block chain technology to stop these Sad

Any advices/help in this regards is appreciated Sad

But always protect/safe guard your accounts,I would repeat the same message in each of my post as I know how painful it was to loose your hard earned money for some scammers Sad..I would have been happy if it was donated by myself for charity purpose rather being robbed/stolen by the scammers/hackers Sad

Iam here in this forum with my first post to share the trauma I went through for loosing 4.5 BTC from my Hard earned money,such a pain somebody stealing your money.Iam like a Every woman,every mother,every wife put my hard earned money to purchase BTCs from Coinbase and secured them on GDAX for trading purpose.To my happiness,two weeks went fine and my account was kept on hold and had to reach Customer care via email to help me unlock my account to my surprise which was taking forever.

And as like everyone during the tensed period,search for GDAX support on phone which returned me the number one-eight-eight-eight-four-five-five-one-one-five-five and there started the hell of the pain where they happily and sweetly spoke and stole my BTCs.Such a FRAUD,Happiness for them and Sleepless night for me Sad Couldnt accept the reality as this was my first Betrayal Sad Sad.Hoping someday I would get my BTCs back,such a Dreamer Iam Sad Angry Angry

So the lessons learnt and want to share and care with my fellow miners/traders/owners of BTC/ETH or any crypto.

1)Dont ever give your details to anyone on phone
2)Never let any kind of remote access to your computer / account.
3)Last but not the least make sure two to three times the email contact or phone number are genuine and are on the original websites of the cryptocurrency.
4)Never reach anyone on phone which are provided on some random websites.
