I have for sale a Gridseed G-Black Scrypt miner. The unit is rated 23-25 Mh/s but I consistently get ~26.5 Mh/s with no overclock (chips @ 800 MHz). It draws about 450-500 watts from the wall. Power supply and Raspberry Pi control board are included. The miner is running the Minera operating system (more info here) on a microsd card which I will include along with the Raspberry Pi. Asking price is 0.60 BTC plus shipping. I prefer to ship to the USA and I will charge a flat $35 shipping cost (converted to BTC for payment) to anywhere in the Domestic US. If you're international and still want to buy the miner send me a pm and we can work out additional shipping charges. I prefer not to use escrow as its simpler and I've done a number of deals on these forums without it. However I understand if a buyer insists on escrow, so I will accept it. All escrow fees will be paid by the buyer and it will be his/her responsibility to find a reputable escrow agent. Here is a screenshot of the Minera dashboard: https://i.imgur.com/xvqWaD5.pngThe hashrate at the top is what the pool is reporting (26.61 mh/s) and the hashrate at the bottom of the screen is what the miner itself is reporting (26.94 mh/s). Error rates are consistently below 0.4% overall for the miner although there are 10 circuits and one of the 10 always seems to be a little higher (1.81% error rate shown in the screenshot). Miner uptime in the picture is about 5 days. I typically restart the miner once a week just for the hell of it, although I probably don't need to. The Minera OS will automatically restart the miner if it stops mining for any reason. And here are a couple pictures of the miner itself (front and back) https://i.imgur.com/OHYMXSh.jpg?1https://i.imgur.com/uFHB5mi.jpg?1

If you're international, pm me and we can work something out. I prefer not to escrow as I've done a few deals here on the forum without it. Somehow the fan connector on the board broke, so the fans would not spin. Instead of attempting to solder the board, I went out and bought an adapter/extension, which you see is the black cord in the picture. This allows the fans to plug into any 3 pin fan connector on your motherboard. They spin just fine and cool the card just as well. You can control the fan speed through your motherboard bios. However running them at 100% all the time is a lot quieter than you think (these arctic accelero fans are great). Running scrypt you can get 500 kh/s per core or 1 mh/s overall for the card. All prices are pegged in BTC but I will accept other coins (LTC, DRK, etc). Just send me a pm and we can discuss a price for that coin. Prices are pretty firm but make me an offer. I will consider a reduced single price if you are buying multiple items.

With all the new alt coins being traded these days I started wondering about why no exchange has offered "interest" payments for leaving certain coins on their site.
Many new coins are Proof-of-Stake, or like Darkcoin have a way for large wallets to earn via the masternode system. It seems to me if an exchange offered its earnings on such accounts back to its customers, they could secure a significant portion of the market volume.
I know its never good to leave coin on an exchange, but even small account balances would earn. The exchange still gets its money via trade fees, its just that now the trader has an opportunity to make some if it back through interest.
Anybody else have ideas on this?

So I feel the need to post this simply because a number of my posts have gotten deleted by GAWMiners. The guys who tout their transparency but quietly censor everything that isn't positive. I originally posted this (which was ignored and promptly deleted when I asked why it was ignored) : I think anybody looking to invest in the new scrypt miners from GAW should read this: http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/gawminers-ceo-josh-garza-got-bitcoin-scrypt-mining-asic/2014/05/06Its mostly about their CEO and his path, but he says something very interesting: "For example, a company I spoke to a few days ago is an ASIC company that makes a new Scrypt product yet to be released in Q3 to Q4. Great company, great product, great group of guys, very innovative but in no hurry. They have x amount of $ in seed money, and no one knows their product and brand. I approached them and said what if I could raise a million dollars in pre-orders for your product how would that move up your timetable? The guy was like ?I can move my time table up two months" This article was posted on May 6th. The new scrypt miners from GAW were posted here and here on May 3rd. Seems fairly obvious where these miners are coming from. GAW is not producing them, just funding the development with pre-order money raised on their website. I think some more transparency from GAW regarding their new partner is in order. After several more posts were deleted (not all of them mine) I questioned via PM whether they had working prototypes. GAW responded by PM with this: That means nothing. You make a million dollar out of pocket payment to said company. Then raise "pre-order" money for new product. The "pre-order" money never leaves your bank but only because the payment was already made. Pre-order money is just balancing your books.
You could very well be re-paying your investment with customer's money. not sure which is worse.
If you are a month away from shipping you have to have a working prototype. If its being developed in house how could you not? Otherwise there is no proof of concept and you could be funding garbage.
Yes, we have units already in house and hashing awayMy response? Well naturally I posted the PM directly to their thread. If they have working units, hashing today, where is the proof? Not one picture? Why tell me over PM but not their own customers? Meanwhile, they continue to take "pre-order" money for miners they just told me already exist!! Red Flag? I say yes. Tread carefully if you are looking to buy these new scrypt miners. And let me be clear, I have no problem with the rest of their business as a hosting service and gridseed re-sellers. I am skeptical of their branded scrypt miners and the proposed ship dates. And I highly doubt they developed these themselves. The company is 2 months old and has never developed their own product before.

Selling my 5 GPU (Gigabyte R9 270s) Scrypt Miner. Mines at 2.2-2.25 mh/s and draws about ~725 watts at the wall, Each card has been undervolted to 1025 mV. I keep the cores at 1060 Mhz and each card gets 440 kh/s. They can go higher, but to keep temperatures down I left them at 1060. Temperatures average in the high 60s. One card runs slightly hotter (~75C) than the others because its at the end of the line. Its "Turn-Key" style running SMOS 1.3 Operating system on a 4 GB flash drive. Just push the power button and walk away. Included hardware: 5x Gigabtye R9 270 GPUs 1x AsRock H81 Pro BTC Motherboard 1x Thermaltake ToughPower 1050 W Power Supply 1x Aluminum Open Air Frame 1x Stick 2GB GSkill RipJaw Memory 5x PCIe Risers (USB Style) Also included is the flash drive with the SMOS 1.3 Operating system. I am asking 2 BTC for the entire miner. Litecoin accepted as well. Offers are welcome, but don't be offended if I ignore a low ball offer. In order to ship, it will need to be disassembled. For that reason I will ship only to the Domestic US, and at buyer's expense. It is available for local pickup, and can be driven home in your car without being taken apart. Escrow is optional and up to the buyer to find a suitable escrow agent. I have some trust ratings from previous sales here, so if you are fine with no escrow it will speed things up. However I reserve the right to require escrow if you are new to the forum, have negative ratings, etc. Also for sale, I have 5 more R9 GPUs pulled from another miner. These are MSI brand: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586822.0

Selling Five (5x) MSI R9 270 Graphics Cards. All are in excellent working condition, and kept very clean. They will hash at ~450 kh/s but some say they can go higher. Undervolting the bios will save you considerable power/heat. I had all 5 together on a system and drawing about ~725 Watt, and it dropped the card's temperature 10-15 C. For the purposes of sale I have flashed back to the original Bios, powered on and tested each one. They all work. Asking 1.25 BTC for the lot. Willing to sell them one at a time too, make an offer. I ship to the Domestic US, at my expense. If you are international, shipping will be extra, PM me. Escrow is optional and up to the buyer to find a suitable escrow agent. I have some trust ratings from previous sales here, so if you are fine with no escrow it will speed things up. This is for the graphics cards only. I do not have the boxes, manuals, etc. If you are trying to build a miner with these GPUs, I have an AsRock H81 Pro BTC motherboard, G1820 Intel Celeron 1150 CPU, and Powerd Risers that work well with these. PM me if you're interested. Also for sale, I have a complete Mining Rig with 5x Gigabyte R9 270 GPUs. About the same specs as the MSI card, but this is a complete "turn key" miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586819.0

Does it bother anybody that BTC-E commands so much of the Litecoin trade volume? Source: https://coinmarketcap.com/volume.html#ltcI have done a lot of trading there with no problems, so I'm in no way trying to attack BTC-E. I'm just wondering what people think about the lopsided trading volume %. Do people really like the Troll box that much?

For sale is 1 Bitburner Fury board. It gets about 45 gh/s at stock clocks but ~50 gh/s can be reached with overclocking and cooling. Temperatures were kept low at about 50-52C. 2 heat sinks have been applied to the voltage regulators also. See pics below. Now the bad part...the micro usb port is broken on this board. It is still attached but its loose and a computer won't recognize it. However it still hashes just fine, you will just need to use it in a stack of bitburner boards linked by a CAN-BUS. This allows only one usb link from the stack of boards and you can use the usb port from a different board to connect. I'm not sure what a bitburner fury board with a broken usb is worth so post an offer or pm it to me if you are interested. EDIT: This is now closed. Purchased by goxed.

I have a semi broken Sapphire 5830 Graphics Card that I am selling AS IS for parts or to somebody who can get it hashing again. This is the Sapphire Xtreme 1 GB edition. The card is in good physical condition with no visible damage anywhere and minimal dust. It powers on and the fan spins but it won't light up a screen. I can view the card using on board video in windows and it shows as "Generic VGA Adaptor" I had this card mining for awhile and one day I came in and the screen was black with the card still running. No idea what went wrong. I tried the basics like re installing the drivers and still no go.
I'm tired of looking at it sit on my shelf so I'm selling it to somebody who wants parts or they think they can get it hashing. I'm asking 0.25 BTC shipped to the Domestic US only or best offer. Pms with offers please.

I have two of the new erupter blades that just arrived in the mail. I've noticed they have some pins sticking out of the side and some of them are labeled "reset" or "factory reset." I sent an email to asicminer support about it and of course they are not responding. Has anybody successfully performed a factory reset on one of the new blades? If so how did you do it?

I would like to buy 3 BTC via paypal at $130 each. I am a verified Paypal member and have a positive trust score here. I just want a quick transaction and don't want to go through the hassle of contacting people on facebook, or uploading photo id's, or any of that other junk that seems to be common with Paypal transactions.
If you have a positive trust score, verified Paypal, and want $390 for 3 BTC PM me.

I am selling two (2) Block Erupter Based Bitcoin Miners. Each Miner consists of 9 Block Erupters, 1 Anker 10 Port Hub, and 1 Arctic Breeze Fan, and achieves a steady 3 GH/s I am asking 2.5 BTC for each miner and that includes Priority Mail Shipping to the Domestic US. I prefer not to do escrow as I have completed several transactions already through bitcointalk and I can be trusted. However if you insist on escrow it is available through JohnK at buyer's expense. Send offers/questions via PM please.
