We recently looked more into IOTA because of the Tip Bot that's going around Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/iotaTipBot/Have you heard of IOTA yet? It's a pretty cool coin with a 0 transaction fee model which makes it ideal for tipping and other micro transactions.

Many ICO issuers are using presales or private investor sales to raise money prior to issuing a new coin to the general public. I've coined a new acronym for them - PCO. Thoughts?

The BannerCoin project allows merchants to accept both cryptocurrency and credit/debit card payments together directly from their website - bannercoin.comUnlike most Bitcoin and related cryptocurrency payment acceptance solutions, the checkout process for customers has been streamlined to allow easy selection between paying for a purchase with a credit/debit card or cryptocurrency. From the backend, merchants won't have to integrate multiple payment solutions, APIs or custom programming to handle post payment processing. Things like sending out order confirmations, upgrading accounts on membership based websites or handling event registration and payment is seamless regardless of the type of payment the customer has chosen. The project will allow for crypto payments to be directly received to the web merchant's wallet and credit card payments will be handled through their existing merchant account payment gateway. A live demonstration of the product and interface can be seen at the BannerView.com Website Marketing Store - https://www.bannerview.com/website-marketing/Your feedback on the solution is welcomed!

Please share the list of ongoing/active ICOs. Only those that are currently selling coins to the public, no presales, future ICOs or finished ICOs. If you could list the coins they accept in the sale too that would be great. Ex: BannerCoin ICO - ongoing until 10/31/17, accepting btc, dash, eth, ltc, xmr, xrp, zec, USD wire transfer

OmiseGo (OMG) started their Airdrop campaign for ETH holders.
I'm curious to know what do you think about these type of campaigns.
Are you immediately selling these tokens?
Are you likely to buy more?
Are you holding for future gains?

Are there a lot of ICOs accepting Altcoins? Please share ICOs accepting alts (beyond BTC, LTC and Ethereum) and which alts they accept.
If the ICO doesn't accept coins other than only BTC, LTC, ETH please don't share it here.
Are there certain alts you'd like to see ICOs accept?

The BannerCoin ICO is one of the few ICO's offering various altcoins in the token swap. The full list of coins includes BTC, DASH, ETH, LTC, XRP, XMR, ZEC in addition to USD via wire transfers. Why so many different coins? Because the acceptance of these coins is actually demonstration of the working product. Interested? I have some questions for those of you who actively participate in ICOs.
How much are you typically putting in each of them?
Do you prefer Ethereum as a payment type or do you use Bitcoin, other altcoins or even fiat?
In what ICOs (completed and upcoming) have you participated? How did you initially hear about them?

We've launched the BannerCoin ICO - Official Bitcointalk thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2095186.0The BannerCoin project is designed to help promote the acceptance and use of various digital currencies by website merchants for purchase of their goods and services. This project will enable the acceptance of digital currencies by these merchants. We already have a traditional payment acceptance module for our BannerOS website management platform and will be upgrading it (called BannerCharge) to support web merchants accepting payments with a variety of digital currencies. This will help promote the use of Altcoins beyond pure speculation and encourage people to use them for actual payments. BannerCoin Initial Coin Offering (ICO) aka Token-Swap BCOIN Sale Begins Friday, September 15, 2017 at Midnight PDT Description:
| The BannerCoin project is designed to help promote the acceptance and use of various digital currencies by website merchants for purchase of their goods and services. This project will enable the acceptance of digital currencies by these merchants. The BannerCoin token is a cryptocurrency used with BannerCharge that can be redeemed for BannerView.com service credits. All BannerOS customers who use BannerCharge to accept payments via digital currencies will be required to accept the BannerCoin token as a form of payment. There could be a growing market of merchants accepting it for actual goods and services. Each BannerCoin token will be redeemable for one (1) BannerView.com credit. These credits can then be used toward recurring services provided by BannerView.com limited to website hosting and BannerOS related license fees including BannerGrips that are billed on a monthly or other recurring basis at a rate of 1 credit per $1 value of service purchased.

| Use of ICO proceeds
| We plan to use the revenue generated via the ICO sale toward further development of the BannerCharge payment system to grow beyond traditional payment acceptance to also accepting many digital currencies directly. This includes hiring developers and support staff along with expanding our data center facility equipment to support a growing digital currency payment ecosystem. In addition, funds will be used for compliance, regulatory needs for running a payments acceptance business, for potential complimentary business acquisitions and other corporate purposes as needed. In light of full disclosure, we are free to use the revenue generated from our sales in any manner seen fit and make no guarantees that the revenue generated from this particular sale will be spent on any specifically announced initiative.
| What is BannerCharge and what role does it play in BannerCoin?
| BannerCharge is a product that runs on BannerOS, the company's website management platform. BannerCharge works with BannerOS add-on products, called Grips. These Grips enable companies of all sizes to do things from membership management to fully functional ecommerce websites. Many merchants accept traditional credit card payments for products sold via their ecommerce store, paid registration to events, monthly memberships and for products and services invoiced through a billing system. BannerCharge 2.0 already enables this functionality.
We want to take BannerCharge a big leap forward by allowing it to accept payment via digital currencies, not just the big ones like most payment acceptance modules allow such as Bitcoin and Litecoin, but dozens of digital currencies now that digital currencies in general have become a $100+ billion market! In addition, accepting low denomination payments under $1 (micro-payments), via traditional means such as credit cards or even via Bitcoin is way too expensive and inefficient. Using various digital currencies, micro-payments become feasible. For example, if a customer wanted to charge for a white paper of $.50 per download or per view of an article, paying with a digital currency is convenient and inexpensive. Not only that, merchants who accept digital payments don't have to worry about chargebacks and fraud is reduced because digital currency payments are irreversible. This is especially important when your product is delivered immediately, but you could later get a chargeback with no recourse to get your product back. Digitally delivered goods should have a digitally backed payment system!
The development of BannerCharge 3.0 will enable merchants to accept digital currency payments in addition to credit card payments. Initially 8 digital currencies including BannerCoin, Bitcoin, Dash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple, and Zcash can be accepted by merchants. Merchants will have full control over which currencies they choose to accept, however, the acceptance of at least BannerCoin will be required upon enabling this feature. We estimate that about every two weeks after BannerCharge 3.0 is released, we'll be able to add support for another digital currency. Each time a new currency is added, it will improve the ecosystem for that currency.
BannerCharge isn't a system that converts digital currency payments into fiat currencies (government backed money like the US dollar). It will allow merchants to participate in the growing digital currency market, encourage them to hold and use them.
Because products and services are priced in US dollars, the amount of digital currency required to complete a purchase will still be derived by taking the digital currency's current market value from CoinMarketCap's API and converted into the associated US dollar value. CoinMarketCap pulls data from various exchanges around the world to average the world price of a digital currency. Since digital currency prices fluctuate rapidly, customers paying with digital currencies will have, by default, up to 1 hour to complete the transaction which involves the customer sending the digital currency to the required payment address. This time limit will be modifiable by the merchant in the BannerCharge preferences. Merchants will also be able to set fixed exchange rates if they don't want to use dynamic pricing from CoinMarketCap.
Many digital currencies are increasing in value as fiat currencies inflate. Allowing merchants to hold digital currency brings more awareness and real world use scenarios to cryptocurrencies plus gives them upside potential when those digital currencies increase in value. A major part of our initiative is to expand the actual use of digital currencies for transactions as opposed to only pure speculation. We believe that many merchants holding various digital currencies may be more likely to spend them as opposed to selling them for fiat currency if they actually have places to spend them!

I'm parting out my KnCMiner Jupiter. I've listed the first hashing board on eBay here (auction is for one): http://www.ebay.com/itm/221591638499No known issues with the boards. The boards will include the heat sync, fan and mounting bracket. Connect it to a controller and you should be good to start hashing at speeds up to 187 Gh/s depending upon how high you clock and the available cooling. If you're interested in the other three boards, let me know. 100% positive feedback on eBay.

I'm considering selling my KNCMiner November Jupiter which currently runs at 750 Gh/s at less than 700 Watts (I've tuned it nicely with 1.0 firmware). You'll need to provide your own power supply with 4 separate PCIe 6 pin connectors. 1000 watt minimum, 1200 watt recommended, plus rated or higher. Looking for 6 BTC or 240 LTC or $3,000 via Paypal. Power supply NOT included in sale. Price does include shipping within continental U.S. US based seller (Las Vegas). Looking to ship in U.S. only, but may consider shipping outside of the U.S. I've uploaded a few photos here http://www.markcenicola.com/kncjupiter/ . I can provide more photos and other verification of unit and my history as an online seller if there's a serious buyer.
