UK bank customers may have to cover cost of fraud.

What will we do to preserve the legacy system guys ? How about we remove one of the incentives to stay?

So if I have to be responsible for my online security anyway........

The Internet revolution is accelerating this year and I imagine that, sooner or later, Rakuten will start accepting money in the form of bitcoin (an internet virtual currency).

likely later rather than sooner - but the pressure is building.

EBA proposes potential regulatory regime for virtual currencies, but also advises that financial institutions should not buy, hold or sell them whilst no such regime is in place

Decide for yourselves if this is good or bad news - BNP probably happy they didn't win any coins last week though.
Implies that there will be regulation but this might hurt companies operating in the EU in the meantime.
