221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LTC mining CGminer NEED SOME HELP on: August 06, 2013, 02:14:41 AM
A newbie miner here... want to try mining some LTC now, easier and I guess it is more profitable for casual users.  I really need help with CGminer..  I have no idea how to do it.  Does anyone have a step-by-step guide anyone can understand and use?  I would really need it... thanks in advance.
222  Bitcoin / Mining support / Some wonderings about mining--HELP? on: August 05, 2013, 03:32:52 PM
New to mining bitcoin but not the currency itself... I was just wondering:

Is bitcoin mining bad for laptops? Does it slow your computer down faster?

and LTC mining.. I just don't get it I have no idea how to work the CGminer... Sad

And mining, how much extra power would it take?  How much more expense would it put to my electricity bill?

Stupid and stubborn questions but I need an answer xD

Last but not least, how long would one of these https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=store last me?
and does any one of you guys have any tips and tricks in CPU mining; how to mine more/faster, how to make the noise softer, ETC?

Posted in newbie but I thought here would be better.

226  Economy / Service Discussion / BitVisitor not paying? on: July 11, 2013, 01:51:49 PM
Bitvisitor says that they payout every hour... but for the last 2 days, my balance has grown to 500 + uBTC and still no payments, users on Coinchat have also been experiencing this problem.  Is there something wrong with BitVisitor's payment system?  Or have they stopped paying?
227  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] Selling 0.23 BTC for $18 USD paypal or payza on: July 10, 2013, 08:23:35 PM
Just selling my BTC I have earned, 0.23 BTC for $18 USD.  Will accept paypal or payza, buyer must be trustworthy... Buyer goes first with paypal, I can go first with payza.  I think that's fair...  I need you to send it as a gift payment for paypal.  Buyer must pay fees if it is for payza, and for paypal it must be a gift payment.

228  Economy / Service Discussion / BIPS wallet problem on: July 09, 2013, 12:19:58 PM
I have a BIPS.ME wallet, it had 0.05 BTC in it I tried to transfer to my blockchain wallet.  For some reason, it didn't go through, I lost the 0.05 BTC, AND what the transaction said was "claim email" I can assure you, I checked all my email accounts...  Anyways, I would think it's a scam cause I found the transaction hash thingy, and apparently it was sent to another address... Do you guys think you can help?

230  Bitcoin / Project Development / Basic Coder needed for a simple bitcoin faucet on: July 08, 2013, 01:25:31 AM
I need someone who will create a bitcoin faucet like these sites:

http://bitcoinfaucet.tk/
http://bitcointree.net/
http://www.netlookup.se/free-bitcoins

and ETC. I want them to have a 23 Hour cool down period, so there will be no spam, and a captcha.  That's pretty much it.

As a reward I will allow you to have 1 ad space for 1 month, advertise whatever you want there. Child Safe, of course. Tongue
