1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DragonMint B29 Blake256 Miner (Decred) on: February 06, 2018, 07:47:48 AM
And this is the third one. After the bitcoin DragonMint 16T miner, and the B52 for Sia, the Decred miner appears. Bitmain has not released anything for Decred yet, the Obelisk DCR1 will be the only competitor for now. No specs have been released yet. So now they name the miners with bomber names? This was definitely a bomb dropped over Obelisk Smiley

And there is a video featuring Yoshi himself Smiley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53dOF_DIuDU

4  Economy / Scam Accusations / www.pascalproject.com clearly a scam on: January 14, 2018, 03:08:21 AM
They seem to be trying to scam potential investors. They claim they need 336,000 EUR to develop an ASIC "for any cryptocurrency coins"  Roll Eyes
5  Economy / Computer hardware / Antminer D3 for sale at $1100 + shipping (US Only) on: January 12, 2018, 09:37:28 PM
Hi, I have a D3 I want to sell. It currently has blissz custom firmware in it hashing at almost 20 GH/s (see screen capture below). I also have an APW3++ I could bundle with the miner for an extra $200, but that's probably not convenient for you unless you pick it up, since they are expensive to ship apparently not? (and available on ebay with free shipping for about that price).

I'm in the Seattle area for local pickup, I can ship to the rest of the US, you choose the service you want and you pay for it.

Hi, I have an L3+ (December batch) I want to sell. It's working very well overclocked to 444 Mhz getting 579 MH/s (see screen capture below). 7  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / What is Bitmain doing with the new 12nm chips they're buying in 2018? on: January 06, 2018, 09:09:31 PM
Article here: http://news.8btc.com/bitmain-urgent-order-100k-12nm-chips-from-tsmc-in-2018

TL;DR:
Quote
According to Digitimes, TSMC has received an urgent order from Bitmain for 100k 12nm HPC (high performance computing) chips at the beginning of 2018. 10k chips will be delivered every month in Q1 2018 and more in Q2.

So what are this chips going to become? If they are getting these chips in Q1, product sales will start soon. Or maybe they are producing next-gen hardware for them and we won't see the new miners for months?
