1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Creating a new faucet on: July 05, 2013, 12:47:27 PM
Hey guys, I was thinking of making a new faucet. I wanted to know if it can be profitable, I was looking at publisher rates at some advertising services which only use BTC and it's something like 7c USD a click, so I wondered if people who ran faucets even turn a profit.

There are some other issues I have with this project as well. I don't have the skills to create the captcha verification & automatic payment script and I'm not sure how powerful a VPS I should have either, however bandwidth is not a problem with my provider. Thanks for reading, any help would be appreciated.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best exchange to buy BTC for aussies on: July 03, 2013, 12:02:49 PM
Hey guys, I have seen Bitinstant and a few other popular exchanges but they don't accept Australian purchases. I'm wondering which exchanges are best for those who want to buy bitcoins in Australia? Particularly those who have actually bought BTC from Australia. Thanks
3  Economy / Currency exchange / Question about buying with Paypal... on: July 03, 2013, 01:24:29 AM
Hey guys, sorry if this seems like a stupid question but usually I don't have cash in my Paypal account, however can I pay using a credit card that is linked to a Paypal account? That is a personal seller like on here.

5  Other / Beginners & Help / New Here! on: July 02, 2013, 02:16:20 AM
Hey guys, I'm new here on bitcointalk but I have been involved with bitcoins here and there for years. I only wish I had more interest when I discovered bitcoins initially five years ago. It is very fascinating to see the economic activities that have arisen since this currency had gone viral. When I first discovered bitcoins, the only products you could purchase was basically web hosting by some companies who were savvy enough to come across bitcoins at that time.

As popularity in bitcoins grew, it became evident that this would open many people to a new world of entrepreneurship, not just for those who invest in hardware to mine bitcoins but also those who have made income through finance and retail.

Anyway, I am planning to invest after seeing a range of high return opportunities and I msy possibly create a service using bitcoins as the currency. Thanks for wasting your time reading this.  Grin
