1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [GNT] Golem Speculation on: April 05, 2017, 09:52:47 PM
Thought that Golem should have its own speculative thread to differentiate price talk from general development.

Right now GNT is sitting very snugly above the 38.2% retracement of 0.00006504 following the rise from 0.00001674 up to 0.00009490. If it holds then that should provide a comfortable base to launch an attack back up above ATH. (Charting is still a little bit primitive for GNT but you can work out the retraction levels easily with an online fibonacci calculator).

What's still not quite understood though is who was responsible for the 12 million GNT market purchase (2-3 million USD) up and around the 0.00008 level, momentarily taking the price up towards 0.0002.

Difficult to know for sure what the motive is, but presumably they'd be looking to make their money back with a suitable reward at some stage.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are the Dash developers getting desperate? on: April 15, 2016, 09:37:01 PM
I'm no expert, but it seems like there's a lot of bad vibes coming from the Dash developers recently.

Please stop.

You're making yourselves look massively stupid and it does nothing to support your coin.

Concentrate on Dash's weaknesses before you go around criticizing other projects.

Rant over.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / It seems to me, that BTC, is like green candles in the wind... on: November 12, 2014, 02:55:00 PM

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / BTC Charting tools that have visual representation of exchange fee? on: November 11, 2014, 09:30:10 AM
One thing missing from BitcoinWisdom is the ability to work out Risk and Reward that include exchange fees.

Anyone know of any better charting tools?

Ideally I'd like to input my exchange fee and have it visually represented on the chart as a horizontal line so I can see clearly where my breakeven point is.
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Using Circle in the UK with linked debit card (Not linked bank account) on: October 07, 2014, 07:38:33 PM
Has anyone had experience of using Circle in the UK with a debit card?

I want to buy a load of BTC but I'm worried about debit card fees and USD to GBP exchange rate.

Tips?
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Mining Pools for ASICS on: July 12, 2013, 06:55:26 PM
I was just wondering what kind of mining methods are best for the new ASIC miners?

I was thinking about joining a pool such as BTCGuild, but would that be necessary/advisable? Or would solo mining be better?

Also, if I joined a pool and my miner's hashing rate was fast, what kind of payment method would be best? I have heard some payment methods are uniform, but others reward faster miners accordingly.

Which is which?

Thankyou in advance. Any help appreciated!
