United Kingdom private hire/taxi market is worth £11 billion.
The business has been started by ex Uber and ex Addison Lee drivers in London.
The business will be owned by the drivers, customers and investors.
UK Unions will be offered part ownership of the business.
Uber and Addison Lee have lost their defence of all Employment Tribunal Claims and the Judges have ruled drivers are not self employed and are workers, so have to pay Holiday pay, sick pay, pensions etc, this will lead to their business models being broken (Oct 30th/31st Uber Final Appeal against Losing Employment Tribunal, Addison Lee later date tba).
Uber have only a 15 month Private Hire Operators Licence, and are loathed by the drivers as are Addison Lee ( Uber have a 1 star out of 5 rating on Trust Pilot as does Addison Lee, both are finding it very difficult to recruit new drivers).
The business will initially be a price comparison private hire/taxi service, then a private hire operator licence will be obtained once funds are in place from donations and ICO.
£2 per mile minimum drivers paid and drivers charged 15% commission on the total fare.
Drivers, passengers will receive coins the more miles they drive/use the service.
Sign up of Drivers to the business will be started the same way Uber started in London, drivers contacted in London where they hang out waiting for jobs: McDonalds, KFC, around Heathrow and well known cafes that the founders of Blockchain Cabs used when drivers.
3 Developers are working on the crowdsale website, company website and smart contract, more are needed and will be paid 5,000 BKCC Coins for 50 Lines of Code - Bootstrap is used on the websites.
