The Digital Chamber's third event in Washington DC finally showed some light on the crypto space. While lawmarkers wanted to discuss the issues aorund blockchain technology and crypto assets companies like Ciphertrace wanted to showcase their blockchain forensics and AML solutions that are needed at such a perfect time. Libra has definitely sparked more involvement from the government and it will be interesting to see how these months leading up to their launch unfold. What are your thoughts on regulations? Are we able to continue to move the industry forward with or without them? https://cryptobriefing.com/blockchain-advocates-washington-dc-facebook/

The blockchain ecosystem is in dire need for cross chain comparability and a few projects are popping up on the horizon. Live platforms that I am aware of include Cosmos and Nuls but I know Polkadot is in the works as are a few other projects. Which ones are you most excited for? Which platforms should I become aware of?

With the recent announcement of Libra there couldn't have come a better time than the privacy preserving Elixxir blockchain platform. Led by David Chaum who is on a mission to give users entire control over their private data and payments. We are really in dire need of protecting privacy and I am grateful to see projects like this one coming into the limelight at the right time. https://coinrivet.com/david-chaum-elixxir-privacy-at-scale/

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network recently released new guidance on AML application to companies that use virtual currency. This webinar will be great to hear what regulators expectations are and how virtual currency is becoming increasingly important to financial services.
The lineup of speakers is pretty stacked too.
Dave Jevans CEO of CipherTrace Gabriel Hidalgo Managing Director of K2 Intelligence John Squires Partner Dilworth Paxon LLP David Lawrence founder CCO of RANE
As more enterprise level companies are starting to involve crypto I think it's time to start paying attention to where regulators are going to involve themselves

I've been seeing more and more people start to use a blockchain domain name that replaces their public address. I've seen .eth and even .zil from Unstoppable Domains. Do you think this will take off as more people sign up?

https://medium.com/unstoppabledomain/guidelines-for-the-zil-auction-8c3e6fb062b9Unstoppable Domains which is putting domain names on the blockchain is planning to have a upcoming auction this time adding two phases and having a buy now feature. I am interested to see which domains will be swooped up first and also what people decide in general. Auction is held on June 27th if you want to get involved.

https://medium.com/@Bytom_Official/bytom-mainnet-release-milestone-50536c920f8eBridging the digital and physical world assets and connecting them to the public blockchain will change the way that we are able to transact around the world. Bytom is one platform that is hoping to become the largest platform to do so which will enhance liquidity, security and value of assets. I need a better understanding of all the different assets since my background isn't in finance but I think it's pretty exciting that I am interested in taking a proactive role now that blockchains are allowing us to do so.

I've been hearing about Unstoppable Domains recently and wanted to know the reason behind putting domain names on the blockchain. The use cases are pretty relevant to UX issues- first being the intimidating cryptographic characters associated with a address. The domain would allow the user to have a simple human readable address that could connect to (BTC, ETH, LTC addresses)
The other use case being a website that the user owns and is free from censorship since they own their domain name and address.
To my knowledge no one is doing this but I do like the use case situations

Just found out you can gain early access to the Elixxir platform that is highly anticipated led by David Chaum. I am excited to see their UX and features after hearing about it a few months back https://elixxir.io/prelixxir/

The more I learn about the Elixxir project and who the founder is (David Chaum) the more I am actually quite impressed with what his contributions have been to the crypto space and a precursor to many projects we know today (CoinJoin, Monero, Zcash) The interview that happened recently at Paris Blockchain week makes you respect him on a whole other level https://cryptoinsider.com/interview-david-chaum-at-paris-blockchain-week-summit-2019/
