What's up everyone! I'm here again looking to auction off some Satori chips. There are 10 Pre-fork chips, and 5 Post-forks. For those unaware, Pre-fork Satoris were funded before the BCH split in August 2017. Here's an image with all of the chips that are up for sale. I've written up each serial on top of each coin to try and make up for my shitty photography. Click to see full sizeThese will be auctioned as 15 individual lots, all starting at 0.001 BTC each. Here's a list of each lot, along with their serial and address: Pre-forks:#1 - 012766 (1KPqr6VgqqG4LTZ75uQsnPrarCucWQQmhL) #2 - 012789 (1FwZxcdfbfBWXAcXGjnF48vpepJsxhn7xV) #3 - 012790 (1LHN6RrJoX9koMb6UW9xDUdJG4DFzkovGE) #4 - 012791 (1DD9PEFFp6BXQnb1R1mFKFMiiqPVBq8pxP) #5 - 014968 (1KM8CxfEgnPzsz2SCw8xxChFtDBPKA7due) #6 - 014975 (1H1hijp8xKgELYYKAGmXvA7AEVP886dj2d) #7 - 014984 (1HDweHm75V9s1dhVjh3cqhcn7PJyA4TBD8) #8 - 014986 (15XBLxmwWcts8Z7j97exjhFvoeSN8Ax6so) #9 - 014992 (1ABDvSqX46fyK4Fsy4rdmBWAUxne5GtgDQ) #10 - 026005 (1Lm4pRTACEgTnvheNqyssnTtob2m46yFBg) Post-forks:#11 - 031562 (16euEGfHfACgpWxisESCYvaWHNnxBZyxDd) #12 - 035172 (16RcTu7Xes1rKcC4iRs4kq61mt3726bywN) #13 - 035176 (1GmM2grRJY5DnPnkgtnieRTGH1Ae4Ju43U) #14 - 035164 (1BEduYQsPidwSaiNU6jk1SAXZPQyp6nfqu) #15 - 039643 (1MAvnMGTXg4FG5EmGwf8Qasq83PdKwXnDk) All of these were checked with this website, so blame them if there's anything wrong with the above Auction Rules:- Minimum bid for each lot - 0.001BTC
- Minimum increment for each lot - 0.00000001BTC
- Auction ends on the 9th August at 20:00 BST - Timer
To make a bid, just post something along the lines of: #15 - 0.0012BTC
and I can figure it out. Coins will be shipping from England, and we can discuss how much it'll cost at the end. I'm fine with escrow or whatever, but the buyer pays any fees. Cheers everyone, good luck!

Ok, I'm not 10, but today marks ten years (and one day ) of me originally joining this forum! Which means you're getting a bit of a soppy post for my birthday Coincidentally I also recently turned 24 years old irl, which has caused me to have a bit of a remenisce about everything that's happened over the last decade or so. I really owe both this forum and crypto as a whole a ton, as the time I spent in this community has really dictated a large portion of my adult life. Not only have I built up a fairly nice little nest egg as a result of crypto, which has given me the freedom to do things I never imagined I'd be able to, but I actually discovered my love of web development through crypto (s/o minifrij.pw) which wound up being my career for my entire adult life thus far. Even outside of that, the sheer number of memories I have because of this forum is insane. Meeting up with the TCC in Manchester and Amsterdam, playing Rocket League and CSGO with Lauda, Hhampuz and others, spending hours chatting with people on Slack, Discord, Crypto-Games, etc. While I think this part of my life has comfortably passed, I'll always be able to look back on it extremely fondly. Without this forum my life would be completely different, and I really owe so much to it. Special shout outs to Lauda, Lutpin, Accountant, Zepher, the Collectibles subforum and the CG mod team. Without you guys, none of this would be real. Thanks for everything! minifrij

Totally not piggybacking off of Viz's auction or anything, I'm putting my 1/2 oz .999 silver 2016 Bitcoin Halving coin up for auction. Unfortunately this coin, as well as it seems many others, suffers from slight discolouration that you can see on the image. Outside of that though, from what I can see it's in perfect condition. It's never been outside of the airtite. The coin is loaded with 0.125 BTC and is #67 of 75. Auction Rules:Starting Bid: 0.125 BTCMinimum Increment: 0.00000001 BTCAuction End: 48 hours after the last bid. I'm happy to ship to wherever, it'll have to be discussed with the winner. I'm open for escrow if anyone wants it, but the fees will be on you. Thanks.

Hey, I've made a shitty userscript for quoting posts in locked topics. It's certainly not a great solution, but I had a few hours to spare so maybe it'll help someone. You can download it here.Example screenshot:
Here's a brief list of issues: Quotes- It tries to delete all the quotes in the post, as I didn't want to bother going through and parsing them all - - Unfortunately, it seems that if a post starts with a quote it will delete everything from there to the end of the last quote. Images- Images only seem to be parsed properly if they're on the start of a new line. I don't know why. If they're not on the start of a new line, they'll just be deleted (maybe). Formatting- This script has a very basic HTML -> bbcode converter. It supports the following tags: hr, btc, b, i, u, s, url, img, size, glow, color. Everything not in this list is stripped. - - This script doesn't deal very well with nested tags, and so will probably break the layout trying to parse the bbcode. It's fixable with a bit of effort, just not perfect. Quote date- The quote date may be incorrect. This is because it gets the time of the post based on your computer, rather than the server. Luckily, this is essentially just cosmetic and will still link up even if completely off (I think). It should also be noted that this script has barely been tested, and may turn out to be completely useless in the grand scheme of things. Regardless it was a fun little project.
You can report issues here if you like, but being completely honest I probably won't ever fix them. If anyone wants to try to fix/improve anything here, be my guest. I'll update the link in the OP in which case. Thanks, Minifrij

To start, I don't believe OgNasty is a danger to trade with. He has proven to be trustworthy with large amounts of money, and I can't see that changing. However, I also don't believe that you should take anything that OgNasty says at face value. OgNasty has a history of twisting words to reflect different meanings ( Reference 1 / Reference 2) and saying things very specifically to suggest a different meaning, then claiming the literal meaning once called out ( Reference 3). OgNasty also spreads blatant lies about the people he dislikes or disagrees with ( Reference 4 - I have never scammed anyone, and have made several thousands worth of successful trades over the 6+ years I've been here), and rarely retracts/apologizes for his obscene statements without significant community pressure. There are also comments to be made regarding the legitimacy of his 'fan club' that he fronts, produces content/merch for, promotes but doesn't own (which apparently absolves him of any criticism regarding it), but I don't want to get into that. tl;dr - You should take anything that OgNasty says with a heap of salt, and do your own research before believing anything that he says.In keeping with theymos' recent post regarding the trust system and it's use, I am revising this rating from negative to neutral. I don't expect OgNasty to do the same with his false negative rating on myself.
Originally I was going to just post this on his trust wall, but unfortunately I have to make a topic about it. Sorry for the clutter. If you're looking for discussion this thread isn't for you; I won't be unlocking it. Please don't see this topic as trying to relight the fire.

I'm not going to really bother with this thread too much, however since he has left a negative trust on me I thought I would explain the events which have unfolded. 24th December 2018I came back to the forum and sent Og this message: Hi Og, I understand that you're probably not too interested in hearing from me, considering our history, but I would just like to apologize for the way that I acted in the last few months prior to my absence (comments like these). I don't think we'll ever see eye to eye on most things (such as the circumstances around my negative rating), but in those comments I was just adding fuel to the fire between us and looking back it was just childish. I hope that you have a happy holidays. Thanks, -Minifrij I'm going to clarify a few things here that I think are obvious, but Og seems to have missed. but I would just like to apologize for the way that I acted in the last few months prior to my absence (comments like these). I think I made it perfectly clear by giving an example that I was referring to personal comments about his character, not the disagreements we had got into previously. For this reason, I maintained my neutral trust on his account stating this: While I don't doubt Og is trustworthy to hold your money, I personally wouldn't take anything he says at face value. I do still apologize for the comments I made leading up to my absence, such as the one in the example, as they were childish and did nothing to help. I also made this comment in the PM: I don't think we'll ever see eye to eye on most things (such as the circumstances around my negative rating) For those who are unable to see what I (fairly obviously, IMO) mean by this, is that I had accepted his negative trust on me and wasn't going to get in any further arguments with him over it. I would also just like to highlight that not once did I ever say that I had removed my trust rating on him, and nor did I ever ask him to remove his (or imply that he should).
Moving on we exchanged some messages of good will: Best of luck in 2019.
Best of luck in 2019.
Same to you. 14th January 2019Since I had been made DT2, I decided to change some ratings I had on users (mainly adding my negative trust on Quickseller). I noticed that my neutral trust had been sort of buried with the trust system being rejigged, and since it was only a neutral rating that had always been there, I decided to bump it up to the top. I don't personally see the issue in this. If I had left a negative rating originally, of course it would have been an issue and I wouldn't have bumped it. 15th January 2019I receive this PM from Og. LOL. Saw you added back in your little snide comment on my trust. Shit like this is why I don’t trust you. Your word is meaningless.
Again, I'm going to make some points clear: Saw you added back in your little snide comment on my trust I never removed it. Your word is meaningless. I never said that I would remove it, nor that my feelings towards Og and the entire situation had changed. I apologized for some childish, personal comments and wished him a happy holidays.
I replied with this message: I never removed it before, I just bumped it to the top.
I don't much understand why it's that much of an issue. It's always been neutral and I think I made it pretty clear that it was just my opinion.
I also never said that my feelings towards you changed, I just said that I was sorry for my personal jabs towards your character in the weeks before I left. Please go back and reread my message again if you feel I said anything different.
Best wishes, -Minifrij
I think I explained myself well enough in this message; I'm not going to rehash it.
Finally, Og left this negative trust on my profile: User removes/replaces trust feedback in order to "bump" it in an attempt to have more influence in the trust network and leverage against detractors. He removed his trust feedback, messaged me an apology, then when I didn't remove his he replaced it. This is the sort of 'scratch my back and I'll scratch yours' attitude that has polluted the trust system.
Let's dissect it. User removes/replaces trust feedback in order to "bump" it True. in an attempt to have more influence in the trust network and leverage against detractors I'm not quite sure where he's coming from here, considering two things: 1. The trust feedback was always there. The only time it was removed was for a few seconds before I added it again. 2. The trust feedback was always a neutral comment. By this, I intended it to be more of a note than a mark on his reputation. He removed his trust feedback I didn't. messaged me an apology That was unrelated to the trust feedback. then when I didn't remove his Something that I never asked for or implied. he replaced it I guess? It's unrelated. This is the sort of 'scratch my back and I'll scratch yours' attitude that has polluted the trust system. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm not interested in getting into an argument, I just thought that this should be properly documented. I also think that this entire situation is a perfect example of why my neutral feedback is incredibly relevant. If you feel I have been unjust in bumping my neutral feedback after a very large change to the trust system and several months passing, I implore you to remove me from your trust list by adding this: This applies to all users on Default Trust too. I don't want a second chance. If I have messed up, remove me.
Thanks for reading, bye. E: Just so that it is super duper transparent for everyone in the audience, I replaced my trust feedback again to add this thread as a reference.

Hi everyone! I'm auctioning this MS 69 Lealana 1 BTC Silver 2013 coin, graded by ANACS. It is buyer funded, and has no funds on it. Some pictures: Unfortunately, due to poor handling the case has a number of scratches/cracks on it (especially on the back/picture #2). As far as I can tell however, there are no marks on the coin its self. I have no idea about the value of this coin anymore, so here are the auction rules: Starting Bid: 0 BTCMinimum Increment: 0.00000001 BTCAuction End: 48 hours after the last bid. Any bids made 10 minutes before the end will extend the auction by another 10 minutes.I'll have to discuss shipping with the winner. Any questions, chuck me a message. Happy new year! -Minifrij

As the subject may suggest, this thread is regarding the negative trust left on my account(s) by OgNasty. This thread isn't necessarily about having the trust removed, more an attempt to gain community consensus as to whether this rating is adequate.
To begin, I'm going to give a brief breakdown of my interpretation of the events which led up to this: - Owlcatz draws attention to how he believes Og has been referring victims of scams to him,
- OgNasty doubles down on his claim that Owlcatz is the scammer,
- EcuaMobi requests proof of the above claim,
- I, using an publicly admitted alt account, give my assumption on the events leading Og to believe what he does. It should perhaps be noted that EcuaMobi made the same assumption,
- I, using the same account, misread a post made by OgNasty, and point towards it in an attempt to validate my assumption. I was wrong about this, and will admit as such,
- Both my main account, and the aforementioned alt, were tagged by OgNasty for lies. It should perhaps also be noted that EcuaMobi countered the ratings on both accounts, and has been excluded by Og by doing the same thing previously.
Since the majority of people have been publicly silent on this matter, I'd be interested in hearing what notable members of the forum think of it. I would also like to publicly encourage people to use their main aliases to comment on this; unknown alt accounts make both sides look unnecessarily bad.
Closing, I would like to specify that I have no interest in creating any toxicity on this matter. I will attempt to refrain from personal attacks, and I would request that everyone else do so too. I won't be making this thread Self Moderated - so that cries of censorship won't come into play - so I am relying on you all to keep the thread clean and on topic. Please don't disappoint. The thread will be concluded once I feel a satisfactory conclusion has been met.

Have you missed out on OgNasty's auction? Was the highest bid just too much for you? Not to worry, here is a simple solution! Step 1 - the coin:Don't own a fancy engraver, or know a mint willing to work with you? Do not worry, you can just buy the coin off Ebay for around $30. Step 2 - the address:Do you want that fancy 1Frosty address that looks so cool? Never fear, Vanitygen is the application for you! What's that? You don't have a good enough computer? Do not worry, you can just pay someone else to do it for you! This has the added bonus of no one knowing your private key. Step 3 - the hologram:"What about the Hologram?", you ask, "Surely that makes it worth the $500 pricetag?". Think again! You can purchase your very own personal holograms from Aliexpress for as low as $1 per unit. So what am I paying for?You are bidding for the beautifully cut NastyFans OgNasty hologram. That still makes it a 1-of-1, right?

Browsing Meta for the past short while has become nothing but a drove of 'My Account is locked/hacked' and 'How do I rank up?' topics. It doesn't help matters that the majority of the latter topics are several pages of people saying exactly the same thing to spam their ICO campaign signatures. To show the extent of this, here's a screenshot of the Meta section's first two pages (red relating to a hacked/locked account and blue relating to activity). Out of around 80 topics, 27 are 'My account is locked/hacked' and 12 are 'How do I rank up?' topics. That's just under half of all topics in the first two pages belonging to one of these two types of topic. You can also see that the topics marked in blue usually have several pages, which is all likely spam (as the answer to the questions posted can likely be clearly defined in 2-3 posts).
To fix this, I'd firstly suggest a new sub-board for those with hacked/locked accounts to post in. It's obvious that this is a fairly large problem as of late, and having a single sub-board for it would make life easier for those needing to find these topics in addition to making the Meta section much more interesting to read and take part in. However, since this requires admin intervention meaning (alongside it being regarding hacked/locked accounts) there's little chance of anything happening, my second suggestion could be carried out by anyone with moderation permissions in the Meta section. Similarly to how the [General] threads exist in the Beginners/Help section and the section is moderated using these, I'd suggest that threads asking the same questions would be moved to Trashcan and the OP would be directed to an already existing thread answering their question. Whether the threads that people are redirected to currently existing threads or new threads are written is dependent on how the moderation staff feel. This tactic would reduce the threads that are essentially asking the same question repeatedly, would remove an avenue for signature spammers to post in and would allow all questions to be asked in one single place for organization. Thoughts?

As some may have noticed, a new member of the Staff team has been promoted - rickbig41. Congratulations!
Not to discredit or disrespect this event, however may I ask why this user has been promoted rather than others? It seems like a somewhat bizarre choice from my perspective. Congrats regardless!

This is a repost of a previous thread that was removed by myself. From what I understand this user has been given a pardon, however it would be nice to have public confirmation from an admin to back this claim up. If confirmation is given I will gladly lock this thread and not further the subject. Original thread:The user Zeroxal (archive) is evading several bans from the accounts josef2000 (archive) and bittyfree (archive). Here is an image showing how the three accounts are connected: Archive of the post shown by Timelord - Archive of the post shown by josef.2000. In addition, the user himself has admitted to evading a ban in a Slack channel: This isn't acceptable. I'd appreciate if he were to be banned.

Defcon23 is an unstable child who cannot properly control the way they act on public forums. They collect personal information on users without their permission and later attempt intimidation/scare tactics against users using said information. I would sincerely recommend not dealing with this user, especially if any sort of personal information is involved.
Yesterday evening (01/10/16) Defcon23 began copy-and-pasting logs about drug related talks even though nobody asked him to do so. When asked to stop he did not and a heated argument broke loose which ended up with Defcon23 insulting members that made comments towards him. He also insinuated something that was way to much, which caused him to be banned instantly.* I was one of the members who referred to him in a message prior to his banning. Prior to him being removed from the channel, I received this direct threat in a personal message from him: He had previously logged my IP due to my mistake of incorrectly logging into the IRC channel once. He has repeatedly talked about the negative things that he could do with my IP when I spoke against him, however this is the first direct threat he has sent me. While this is a small case, it is absolutely unacceptable behavior for someone who sells goods to others (such as reselling 'unique' silver bars bought for $3.30 each) and has significantly more personal, DOXable information on his customers. In addition to this, Defcon then proceeded to waste other peoples time with more childish behavior as he continued to rejoin the channels under different usernames (most of which were further insults to the members of the channel - E.G minifdick, smallminifriddick). He did this for a number of minutes until the channel was closed to the public making him unable to join.
This is the same childish behavior that Defcon has repeatedly shown over and over again. This is not adequate behavior for someone who handles significant amounts of other people's funds, in addition to a significant number of people's personal information. This is not behavior that people should deal with, and is not behavior that should be let off the hook because he is sorry and "won't do it again". If you have any sort of relationship with Defcon, whether it be personal of business related, I highly suggest that you cut it as soon as possible. He has shown several times that he cannot be trusted to keep composure and act like an adult, and should not be trusted with any information he could later use against you should you disagree with what he thinks. *This line was edited as per a request to more accurately represent the happenings.
