Hello, There was this user who put up an account for sale. The thread was deleted but I had time to archive it. http://archive.is/ZqiIaDate Registered: 2014 Posts: 2431 Activity: 1649 Merit: 1017 Trust rate: +4 GREEN Comes with Registered email address. There is no user id or name, but these stats can be handy. Is there a way to bust it ? I can't think of one since the "members" section is disabled.

Howdy, fellow collectors of shiny thingies I am happy to introduce http://satoritool.site to our community. EDIT : The URL has changed : http://satoritool.xyzIt's a tool I have created to keep track of the amount of valid and spent satori coins. In it's current version, it is rather simple. It displays some stats about Satori coins and also keeps a historical record of the values. Maybe in the next version we'll have charts with the price. I invite you to give it a look to see what it's about. Your opinion and suggestions are always welcome. (I am not sure it is the right section, but if feels like the most appropriate one for this kind of tool)

Hello, There's this guy : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1963953It appears they advertises an online marketing service for websites. Too bad they are directly reaching out to members via IM to send them spam about their service ! This thing is shady. 5. I will take 50% payment before taking any orders to avoid 3rd party involvement / unpleasant situation. So they are not taking escrow. I don't know. But alone, the fact they go as far as copy/paste their thread in instant messengers to spam people is wrong.

I am curious as to why did the fees did drop so much since the last peak of interest, last december.
Is it just because there is less people using Bitcoin as of now ? Or was it because of a low fee transaction spam that took place back then ? Or on the top of the hype, too much people tried to use it to transact ?
As I see it, if someone broadcasts a sufficient amount of transaction with low fees, legit users will have to put a higher fee to get their transaction included right away. The "attackers" can slowly raise the fee to drive it up, up to 1000sat+/byte as we saw. Miners could coordinate efforts to conduct this attack since they recover the fees. With all the BTC/BCH drama, I don't know what Ver and his friends are up to in order to drag people on their coin.
Today, 40sat/byte will include your transaction in the next block.
What are your thoughts on this matter ? What explains the fees dynamics ?

What happened: WritingG123 took part in a charity raffle organized by Hhampuz. There was no fixed ticket price, Hhampuz made is so 100% of the tickets sales will be donated to a charity. The rate was 5 tickets for 1 txid you send. WritingG123 sent transactions with a 44sat/byte fee. In the end, he sent 4 BTC transactions, and only 2 were included in the blockchain. The first 2 transactions were around ~4.5 USD, the latter 2 were about ~2.5 USD. WritingG123 had 20 spots in the raffle. Do you think he'd send back his prize if he would have won with tickets bought with never confirmed transactions ? This is so cheap to steal from charities. If you need to make your opinion on this matter, please read the latest thread about him, in the collectibles section. Welcome to this Polymerbit set auction ! This is a set of two notes from the early issuings by polymerbit. The 0.2 BTC note is a Test V2 note. That serie has been originally limited to 50. Both notes are sharing the same serial number. (A0723) That makes this "limited to 50" note very unique. Starting bid : 0.001BTC Bid increments : 0.001BTC Any bid in the last 20 mn extends the bidding period with an additionnal 20mn. (ie. if there is a bid at 23:45, auction ends at 00:30, at the end of the full extended period) Shipping costs varies depending on the buyer location and preferences. (Regular tracked within EU is free) I am OK to go with an escrow we agree on (buyer pays the fee) or you go first. Payment to 1yogg7RkwrSsh1UNi5jw3oUALHBaP4KrX only.

I wonder .. With bitcoin touching such heights, do you think the time it will take until the next bubble will be even longer than between the 2013 one and this one ? I suppose the price will increase from bubble to bubble with a higher "plateau" than before, before bubbles. Each plateau shouldn't go as low as the previous one. These suppositions are based on the fact that the overall value of bitcoin increases after each bubble without going down to previous lows. This should happen until we see a "massive adoption". (By the way, I'm not sure if even 1% of the world population knows about bitcoin, and the early adopters are the first 20% .. so we are like .. early adopters of early adopters ) Any thoughts on that matter ?

EDIT: -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- This is yogg from bitcointalk and today is 12/04/2017 The purpose of this message is to prove that I am in control of my account. Feedback left by EtihadBitcoin is fake. He was angry because I releaved his trust abuse attempt. -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- 1yogg7RkwrSsh1UNi5jw3oUALHBaP4KrX IJWc6+srDv39DYq/LB0f22miBXRSEde2YvD5trm+3aUbbbpqiflEgfxdPJmz5F/SBIfAPtOgrF5egejVQMQmweU= -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- I feel like sharing this because I do not condone any form of trust abuse, shady behavior, scamming .. I've been PMed by EtihadBitcoin ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1235744) and asked to leave someone a positive feedback. When I informed him that I do not condone trust abuse and asked him if he wants negative trust for asking me this, the user insisted and found a way to make my feedback appear legit. Since he insisted, I can't resist giving him a negative one for trust abuse. So here comes this thread ! The story unfolds as I am writing this, I'm feel like I'm lurking in the shadow, waiting for the guy to reveal me the name of the member I have to give trust to. [-5 mn into the future-] Okay, so I am supposed to leave positive trust to dashingriddler ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=124502) after I bought 20 CENTRA tokens ($17 as of now) that he'd pay for. This is the token : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2114806.0Gosh, I feel offended that my positive rating has so little value ! Anyway, here are the screenshots : (I have quoted all hist PMs, read the quotes to have his original messages) 1st screenshot : 2nd screenshot : His last reply. I stopped communication at this point : He says he bought an account from me a long time ago. That may have happened when I was giving out small loans with bitcointalk accounts as collateral. I think I have traded no more than 3 accounts in the past. Since this day, I do not encourage account trading.
