1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Quantis QUAN - Who missed the swap? on: January 12, 2019, 12:56:56 PM
Just out of curiousity, how many missed the swap that took place on 4th january after just a 1 month pre announcement here on bitcointalk?

With 5000 quantis lost due that short deathline i feel ripped, screwed and scammed. After they claim 99% of the users swapped i have my doubts, hence asking
if it's really only me who missed this manual swap which needed sending information, private keys an a google formular to the quantis dev? Not even talking
about this procedure what they called professional  Huh

I missed this scam warning, too bad:

Back to topic, how many missed the quantis coin / quantis network / QUAN swap and sit on the old coins???
2  Economy / Exchanges / Binance problem, login problem, strange. on: November 28, 2018, 11:09:26 AM
It's now the 6th day i can't login to Binance, better the login doesn't load how it should.
I have no problems accessing Bittrex, Poloniex and the 20 other exchanges i use, but just Binance.

What i have tried so far without success:
- Cleaning cookies, history, whatever, doesn't solve anything.
- Downloaded the Binance APP, again doesn't show the login properbly, can't login
- Tried from my Laptop, same, doesn't work
- Tried from the PC at my office, same ISP than my other connections, doesn't work
- Asked a friend to try from his PC, same ISP than mine, doesn't work for him either.
- Asked a friend to try from his PC, different ISP than mine, doesn't work for him either.
- Tried loading it from my Cell phone with mobile data, WORKS!!!!
- Friend tried to load it from his Cell phone, doesn't work (no idea if with mobile data or wife!)
- Tried so far with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Opera, doesn't work.
- Last night, right bevor going to bed i ones was able to login again, funds are there, just to have the problem today again.
- No viruses, trojans whatever on my PC, absolutly excluding this as the reason.

Located in Bulgaria/EU.... I'am out of ideas, anybody any idea what's causing this?

Here what i get when i try to login or load the binance page, 1 screenshot is the Binance APP after i enter my login details, just black:

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / POS Coins, your favourite POS coin/token ..... on: November 16, 2018, 02:50:11 PM
Hi all,

i'am personally sick of POW mining and switching to POS holding only from now on safing me high electricity and hardware costs and directly
buying the coins instead.

What's your favourite POS coin which you think has future, is reliable and promising? Any thoughts and info sharing is appreciated.....
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / EU - Deposit/Withdraw from/to Fiat, best ways ...? on: April 21, 2018, 07:35:40 PM
I'am pretty sure there are allready some topics about it, but wasn't able to find any that covers especially for EU citiziens all possible ways how to deposit/withdraw from fiat.

Living the EU, in my country ALL banks stoped to accept wires/transactions from and to Bitcoin related exchanges, platforms, similar.
This raises the problem on how to deposit funds for buying bitcoin/altcoins and of course at some point withdraw some to fiat.

What is everybodies approach on this problem? So far i didn't think about it too much as a miner, but at some point soon or late i guess we have to convert something to fiat
and/or want to deposit and buy additional bitcoins...

While at coinbase their is the option to withdraw to a Sepa bankaccount, this does not help me a lot as my bank would just send it back not accepting the sepa wire. Reverse the same
of course if used for deposits which only leaves Debit Cards with smaller amounts in this special case.

I tried today to bypass this with transferwise. Did a Euro 2.000 sepa to my transferwise account and from there tried to send it to coinbase just to finding out that transferwise will NOT
support some transaction.

Now waiting for verification on mistertango, coinsbank, revolut, payeer, ... to see if there is any chance to have something working for deposit and withdraw within the EU.

I personally have no problems with verification, taxes, Know your customer, or whatever, so anonimity is not a problem for me, and i guess for a lot others as well not.

However, how is everybody doing the Crypto ==> fiat and fiat ==> crypto transactions/withdraw/deposits?

I'am aware of localbitcoins and similars, but i'am talking about something you can count at the moment without much hazzles each time. So i know that selling/buying to friends, localbitcoin is an option but i would like to discuss more about wire transferes, credit cards and so on.

Anybody uses WageCan by the way?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [Need Help/Advice] Switch Cisco 2950 problem on: February 19, 2018, 07:44:30 PM
Hello all,

i need some help/advice please.

I have 3x Cisco Catalyst 2950 series 24 port switches, but was only able to setup one so far.

Setup used:
- Incoming optical internet router
- after that router with 4 out ports, static ip.
- 1 out port goes to the PC controlling everything, works perfectly
- 3 out ports to the 3x Cisco Catalyst 2950 switches.

Problem:
- i managed only to setup one switch which seems to work fine, expect some issue, will explain in a bit.
- when i try to use the other 2 switches they assign again the same IP to the ants and baikals like on switch 1 that works. Means they duplicate them, in the meaning of each of them, lets say each port 2 gives out the ip adress .102 which of course is a problem.
- i was not able to connect them in a raw/line instead into the ports of the router, not even sure if this is possible, hence one of the questions.
- i have about zero knowledge with switches, seems to be the worst problem in the whole matter, :-)  Roll Eyes

Other problem:
- on that working first switch i was able to connect 20 ants and baikals, but i have 1 baikal on it that makes problems. First it was on IP .112, problems with login page of the baikal menu.
Later i changed the orange pi and set the IP to .117 and it worked perfectly until today when that baikal X10 for some reason went back to IP .112, again with
a menu i'am not able to login. This makes me think it could eventually be an issue with the switch or the switch port?!?!?!  Huh Anybody any idea if this could be the reason?

Questions:
- How can i have 3x identical Cisco Catalyst 2950 switches and force them to use for each port a different IP adress?
- Is there a way to connect these Cisco Switches in a raw, some kind of "in line" connect one to another instead of directly into the router and would this eliminate
the doublicate IP issue?
- Would it be eventually better to use different brand switches to avoid such duplicate issues?

As there are coming in soon more baikals and ants i'am seriously thinking about how to organize the switches as this is the only nightmare i have, mostly because i have about no switch knowledge.

Any help, advice, info or other more than appreciated. Thx in advance!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Baikal Giant X10 - Web-Login Problem on: February 07, 2018, 08:52:26 PM
Hi all,

hope someone can help with some advice.

We have a problem with one of our Baikal Giant X10. The problem ist that we are not able to log into the Web Menu.
The password field itself for some reason is moved to the very left and the "Enter" Button is missing as well on the
Web Page to enter the Baikal setup.  (see screenshot).

Several tries to flash the SD Card did not help, always the same result with this messed up login page.
The Baikal itself works perfectly meanwhile, mining and hashing to its default settings, but this is of course not
what i want.

I tested the following so far with the following results:
- reflash v1.0, does not work
- reflash v1.1, does not work
- used SD card from another working Giant X10 miner, does not work
- used another Orange Pi Controller including the SD card from another X10, works!!!
- used the Orange Pi Controller without the SD card from another X10, does not work.
- transfered the Orange Pi Controller from the "faulty" X10 to a working one with the working ones SD Card, does not work.
- transfered the Orange Pi Controller from the "faulty" X10 including the SD Card to a working one, does not work.

This makes me think that the problem might be the Orange Pi Controller? Is it possible that a faulty Orange Pi Controller gives
such an error like a messed up login page? Any other suggestion? Advices how to fix this?

Every suggestion is more than welcome!!! Thx in advance.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / [Fixed] Wallet, how to move from one internal HDD to another internal HDD?? on: January 24, 2018, 10:22:36 PM
Hi all,

i doubt i'am the first asking this, but i was not able to find any topic with the search function.

Case:
I'am aware that the wallet on a desktop PC is located at appdata/roaming on C:/, but having in mind the huge Diskspace a single wallet needs
it doesn't make much sense if someone, like me, wants to have let's say 20 wallets stored on his PC.

Having in mind that most users have at least 2 HDDs, many, again like me, a lot more on their PC, its just logical to move the huge diskspace
wallets internally to another HDD on the very same PC. Or to an external HDD which should be about the same case as mine here with internal
HDDs.

So how to have a wallet moved and have it working and of course updated to another internal HDD, let's say Harddrive E:/

Me personally even wonders why there is no simple "save to ...." option while installing/downloading a given wallet.

Thx in advance for every hint, tip and step by step advice and of course sorry for my bad English, i"am not a native English speaker, obviously :-)
