1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Claiming bitcoin diamond and superbitcoin easily on: January 07, 2018, 08:57:09 AM
It took me a while to figure this out last night.

Download bluestacks emulator for android apps on Windows.

Download bither + bitpie.

Sweep all your bitcoin into another trezor or similar wallet before this step:

1) import your (now empty) seed into bither unnder hdm account recovery https://imgur.com/a/YH1Cq
it then syncs and shows you balance of BCD and SBTC and also BTW (wtf is that?)
2) Simply click get BCD (it then asks you for a bitpie bcd address, I tried sending direct to an exchange but it didn't work
3) send to bitpie, then exchange

cash out.

Same can be done for SBTC.

I cashed mine out last night and made an extra few bitcoins, pretty easily. I came across a dozen scam websites/fake wallets asking for mnemonics and so on before this so figured people could do with an easy solution.

Hope this helps

Item is $79, I will pay $90 in btc for someone to purchase the item. Escrow or you go first.

PM me for details.

4  Economy / Exchanges / LakeBTC locked me out of account after $20k withdrawal request on: October 02, 2015, 03:11:24 AM
I recently tried to withdraw approx 93 btc worth of USD (near $20,000 USD) and as of this mornign I went on to see it's progress and my account says invalid password

I received the deposit confirmation last night, but no mention of a withdrawal today. it said 20% complete as of last night, but now I cannot access my account.

Has this happened to anyone else?
5  Economy / Service Discussion / What is the best exchange for withdrawing fiat? on: November 21, 2014, 05:08:35 AM
So I've had shit experiences with bitswamp, they froze my money for 8 weeks, igot took 2 weeks to process a regular fiat withdrawal, I need a new exchange.

Where can I sell bitcoins (only sell) and withdraw fiat quickly? I don't want to wait 2-8 weeks for my money, I just want to be able to sell and get my hands on my filthy fiat within a reasonable timeframe

(2-5 days should be a reasonable time frame to anyone except one of the autistic rocket scientists who sets up a bitcoin exchange)

I work online, and I used to utilise a bank for offshore merchant facilities in Morocco that actually wired money to me in the USA faster than these idiots, and that was going via an intermediary somewhere else in the world. 2 weeks for a fiat withdrawal is just beyond retarded.

How fast does Kraken send withdrawals?

Is bitfinex any good for withdrawing fiat? I was under the impression they were mostly for trading digital currencies.

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / buying bitcoins in the USA on: August 16, 2014, 07:06:47 AM
What is the easiest/simplest method for a noob? Coinbase looks like it takes too long, I'm trying to explain to my friend in the USA.

In the UK we have instant irreversible bank transfers so LBC is pretty good and only a few % over spot usually, what is the fastest, least hassle option in the USA?

15  Bitcoin / Electrum / Generate 100 addresses like multibit on: May 08, 2014, 04:44:37 AM
is this possible in Electrum? I can't find a way.

I like to generate 100 addresses and label them so I can keep track of who has what address, in multibit this takes 10 seconds. in Electrum I only have 3 receiving addresses at once
16  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB prepaid (preloaded) visa for bitcoin on: March 24, 2014, 08:41:13 AM

They used to sell them in W H Smith in the UK but can't find them any more.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / .bit domains and namecoin on: March 22, 2014, 03:55:42 AM
A couple questions about the namecoin domains

1) is there a timeframe for when .bit domains will work as part of the normal internet?

2) there is no registrar who can suspend your domain on .bit correct?
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Mining contracts - the new ponzi on: March 05, 2014, 03:47:18 AM
I have been looking into mining for a while now.

Seems there are two kinds of mining operations:

Cex.io where the price per GH is never going to make a profit mining bitcoins, but is at least legitimate (not stealing your money)

and all the others, which show an ROI on GH/s in 50-70 days.

Most of the second type seem to have newly registered sites, a slick/simple layout, unrealistic pricing, a strange inability to demonstrate that they are actually generating ANY coins at all.

Mining lease companies are the new ponzi, imo, and from my personal research it looks like 90% of the ones out there are ponzis.

In before all the "no way man, I gave them 1 btc and they gave me back 0.09 this week so therefore no way are they a ponzi"

I can't even convince some people Leancy is a ponzi so this is hopeless.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / This is great on: February 25, 2014, 08:35:46 AM
Selling for £ on localbitcoins.com bitstamp + 20%

Trader in the country I am currently in selling for bitstamp price + 0%

Have sold 6 so far today, not sure when to pull the trigger and repurchase them for -20% less.
20  Economy / Service Discussion / PBmining - legit? on: February 24, 2014, 09:15:20 AM
Is this site legit?

It's half the price of Cex.io

Actually looks like mining with them might be profitable, hence my suspicion ha

I searched the forum but only found one mention of them
