1  Bitcoin / Project Development / [ANN] Deposit Box - A mining investment opportunity on: October 25, 2015, 01:32:17 PM
Hello everyone, how have you all been? I wanted to stop by and tell you all about my new service. I know what your thinking, "ARE YOU KIDDING AN HYIP, SCAMMER, FUDDSTER, ANOTHER PONZI". Well that just isn't the case. I want to offer a service that actually benefits the users. It is still up and coming, I have a lot of work to do to accomplish my goals, such as implementing API's for services being used and offer better reporting tools. My aim is to be as transparent as possible. I am currently have payout set to 150% of deposits up to a maximum of .5 BTC, multiple deposits are allowed from the same user. My service does not depend on user deposits to pay out previous deposits but it will enable faster payouts.

All deposited funds go towards the purchase of mining power via Hashnest, Hashocean or Hashflare. All payouts are made in the order the deposits were made. If there are other mining services that are not listed and you think I should use as well please list them and if you have an account I will create it under your referral link if they have one. As with all Bitcoin services invest only what you can afford to lose as I cannot be held responsible for the fluctuation in mining difficulties. But I ensure you I will be as straightforward as possible. If you have any questions feel free to ask I am an open book. I am looking forward to working with all of you in the future! With the current 24 HR earning on Hashnest it looks to be 250 Day payouts but this will drop over time with new investments, the more investments the faster the payouts. My goal for payouts is between 60 - 90 day range for all deposits and we have a long way to go to get there so go on fill out the form on my site make a deposit and profit! Mystery % to the first 100 deposits

3  Bitcoin / Legal / Adam Carolla vs The Patent Troll on: March 17, 2014, 02:00:33 PM
Hey everyone out there. Slug here stopping in with a bit O' information. I love Adam's podcasts, and when I heard he was being sued by some moron that has a little bit of money, enough apparently to buy a patent that he thinks people are infringing on then sue. So this is a rough one for Adam and he is looking for donations, during his latest Dr. Drew and Adam podcast they had mentioned Bitcoin that is when I wanted to start donating to the cause. So I picked up the send address or you can go straight to http://adamcarolla.com and its at the top also a fund anything link.http://fundanything.com/patenttroll?locale=en.
So lets see what we can do, lets show them what the Bitcoin community is all about and what it can do.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / r9 290x mining issues on: March 01, 2014, 06:23:37 AM
So I just got a new MSI R9 290x Gaming edition. I have a brand new PSU, and no OC on CPU. no OC on card. Stock clocks are core clock 1040 mem clock 1250. When I attempt to mine at anything above -I 13 I get a driver crash. I have tried drivers 13.11 until the newest beta drivers available all with the same outcome. I have also flashed the latest bios from MSI same card just newer bios. My miner settings TC 32765 -w 512 -v 1 -g 1 -I 13 anything higher and it crashes like I said before. But when I lower mem clocks to 1150 and core to 1000 it will mine at -I 18 is it just a bad card?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 7970 unusually slow hash rate on: December 30, 2013, 12:52:27 PM
Hello everyone, i've been racking my brain over this the past few days. My Asus Matrix Platinum 7970 will not has of about 570Khs, no amount of OC, tried different drivers, uninstalled then reinstalled several times, tried different versions of cgminer to no avail, ive looked here there and everywhere searching for configs and everyone seems to be getting at least 660 and I cannot even get that.

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://162.243.215.221:3333 -u xxxx -p xxxxx -I 13 --worksize 256  <- this gets me 560Khs
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://162.243.215.221:3333 -u xxxx -p xxxxx -I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-powertune 20 --shaders 2048 <- this does nothign for me

anything over I 13 slows me down, g2 slows my card down, im not really sure what is going on
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / USB Block Erupter Cooling device - IN PROGRESS on: August 24, 2013, 12:57:59 PM
Hello everyone,

Over the past few months I have been researching and reading and testing. I noticed some ways to cool down the Erupters with small clip on heatsinks and I've also seen the sand down the backside of the unit and rubber band it to a heatsink. So after all these ideas I have come up with a few solutions on which I will be releasing photos soon. These are just for the extension of the erupters life and not to catch anything on fire. it will be usb powered and I might put a molex with a controller for the fan. When the unit is complete it will be a thermal solution for up to 4 erupters, it will come with its own usb hub or usb extension cables, a fully enclosed housing for optimal cooling of the erupters. It will also come with thermal compound. I am at the point I just need the material to build the case and a way to power the fan. as it stands now the heat from the erupters is now taken in by the heatsink. I have a second unit going into testing as soon as the first unit is completed. The second unit will take a bit longer to complete as it is an entire usb hub enclosure device. I am also trying to keep costs down so if and when anyone else wants one it won't be too much.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / First post / Hello All on: August 05, 2013, 12:07:13 PM
hello everyone, I'm glad to be part of the Bitcoin community. I am not new to Bitcoin but I am new to mining. Right now I am running an HD 5830 ( I know what your thinking, weak card for the same money you could have gotten something better) those points are true, except i traded my Nvidia GPU for the AMD, and I am looking to purchase an ASIC mining rig. I have been coming to the forum for all my info especially  when I switched from the Nvidia gpu to the AMD there was a bit more work to get the AMD to mine successfully. Now however I am interested in getting an ASIC miner and have set up a business fund page with gofundme.com. There are rewards for different levels of contribution but I thought if i was going to get the contributions the most likely place would be from the btc community. So if I do have supporters of my fund please visit http://www.gofundme.com/3su3h8 or you can donate in bitcoin. if you are going to donate in bicoin please send me a PM and how much bitcoin you sent so I can give you the appropriate lvl reward.
