1  Economy / Gambling / English Premier League and UEFA champions league Picks on: February 14, 2015, 09:48:25 AM
Hey Guys

So I have decided to start publically posting my football (soccer) picks. I have had some success and some failure in the past. But my experience has taught me a lot about sports betting. I have recently revised my strategy and it seems to be working quite well. So hopefully I can make some BTC for myself and also for other people. I will try keep this thread regularly updated with my results and my picks. CryptoBettor is holding a competition for sports bettors, so I am using that forum to post the picks, but I will post the link to my picks here so you guys can see.

Please note that gambling has its risks and that I am not responsible if you lose BTC.

So Lets make some BTC  Grin

Current Record (will keep updated!)
15 wins
9 losses
2  Economy / Services / Need a developer / programmer who can help me make an odds comparison site on: October 23, 2014, 12:45:00 PM
Hey guys

As the title says, Im working on something right now. Unfortunately I have 0 programming skills. So I would like to find out from any programmers / developers what you would charge me to create a website where I can compare odds of different bookies.

The website I am looking for must be very similar to http://www.oddsportal.com/ and http://www.soccerpunter.com/

The only difference is that it will not have the same bookies on it. I would like to use local bookies in south Africa. there is no such website that I can see that has this sort of information locally. Please let me know guys, I would really appreciate it.

3  Economy / Gambling / Fantasy premier league fast 5 week league - 0.1BTC Prize already in the pot on: October 22, 2014, 06:31:47 AM
Hey guys

As requested, I have opened a new thread regarding the 5 week fantasy premier league, which we are going ahead with. We have had a good response for our first attempt at this, and the pot stands at 0.1BTC already. And it will grow as more people enter.

The prize divisions go like this:

1st place - 60% of the pot ----> which is 0.06BTC at the moment
2nd place - 30% of the pot ---> which is 0.03BTC at the moment
3rd place - 10% of the pot ---> which is 0.01BTC at the moment

The 5 week league will start on the 1st of november, which will be gameweek 10, and end on the 8th of december, end of gameweek 15.

Entry to the league is only 0.005BTC which will go directly into the pot. I am not taking anything, and I have added extra BTC out of my own pocket to build up some interest in the project.

To enter, just follow these 3 easy steps:

Once you have sent the mail and the payment has been confirmed, you will receive an email with the link to join the league. Your payment will go directly into the prize pot and it will reflect on this post and on the website.

Visit the website http://btcpremierleague.com ,send me a mail or reply on this thread if you would like to join or for more information.

Thanks guys   Smiley

Heya guys,

I have started a brand new project, which will be focussing on Fantasy premier league using Bitcoins as prizes for winners. Please check it out and let me know what you guys think, its a really simple project but im hoping to generate a lot of interest from it in the coming years.

http://btcleague.blogspot.com/

I have made it using Blogger for now so that I can see if anybody will actually be interested in participating in it. Any feedback would be great guys, I'm hoping to get at least 10 people in the first season, I will be adding a bit extra to the prize out of my own pocket to help attract attention.

7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Ebay Scammer j1mmorz on: December 05, 2013, 12:57:04 PM
What happened::
Me and j1mmorz (ebay name) spoke through ebay about me buying bitcoins from him using paypal. we bypassed the ebay system because that's what he wanted us to do to save on fees. He requested that I make the paypal payment as a gift, to which I refused. after I sent him the money, I never received the bitcoins. Even after he tried to convince me that he sent them, I contacted the company that he used to send them (Bitcurex), and they told me that no such transaction took place. Luckily I was able to reverse the paypal transaction and get my money back. but I saw now on ebay that he has scammed somebody else too!
