1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / IS CRYPTSY FINALLY BANKRUPT?? on: December 02, 2015, 02:59:47 AM
As of today, NO ONE is getting Bitcoin withdrawals out of cryptsy. Many including myself fear they are now insolvent.

Please comment if you have been affected by their withdrawal problems and lets get our coins back!

I am missing a withdrawal of over 3 BTC going over 12 hours now with support unable to let my BTC go from the queue (this should be very easy considering my transaction has not yet hit the blockchain). To put icing on the cake, I'm getting banned from their chat for mentioning these issues and being told everything is fine, that they're getting ddosed blah blah blah. These problems have been happening for months now but it seems that everyone who tries to withdraw now is getting shafted

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Petitioning Cryptsy, Btc-e and others for Monero(XMR) on: August 09, 2014, 02:55:22 PM
THE REWARD HAS NOW BEEN INCREASED TO 0.4 XMR...PLEASE FIND MORE INFO BELOW:

Monero users: I would like to start a petition to Cryptsy, btc-E, OKcoin, Bitstamp, Coindesk, Forbes and others to support Monero (XMR). Personally I trust Cryptsy more-so than some of these other exchanges and I'd like to trade my Monero on a more secure and liquid platform. Coindesk seems to be blatantly censoring XMR and we should let them know how we feel as well.

If you share similar feelings or simply want cryptsy and others to get behind Monero (XMR) please tweet them and tell them why they should add Monero (XMR)!

A total of 10 XMR will be pledged towards this campaign funded by myself, Nekomata and saddambitcoin. If anyone else wants to chip in, please PM me

Each Monero tweeter will get 0.1 XMR 0.2 XMR until we run out (limited to 1 tx per person)

THE REWARD HAS NOW BEEN INCREASED TO 0.4 XMR

RULES:

1. TAG AT LEAST 3 - @cryptsy, @btcecom, @okcoinBTC, @Bitstamp @coindesk, @forbes, @CryptoCobain IN A TWEET MENTIONING MONERO (XMR)

2. HASHTAG #MTC (Monero Twitter Campaign) TO VERIFY

3. SCREENSHOT YOUR TWEET AND PM ME THE PICTURE AND YOUR XMR ADDRESS

If you would like to donate to this cause just PM me (maybe the reward could be raised or could fund a longer campaign)

5  Bitcoin / Mining / Last block found was 75 minutes ago... on: June 11, 2014, 01:22:02 AM
And the one before that was only 4 minutes apart...  Huh
6  Economy / Speculation / Predictions for the next "bubble"? on: February 09, 2014, 09:48:14 PM
My Prediction:
We will see another "bubble" or exponential run up sometime in June.
This move will bring us to $3000-$5000 BTC

The reason for my prediction and exact timing of June is due to the fractal nature of BTC adoption and price. From $32-$266 took roughly 10 months, from $266-$1200 took roughly 8 months. I'm predicting a 6 month period from the December peak price to the next peak price
7  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / who is this unknown "20% of the network?? on: August 26, 2013, 08:38:36 AM
This kind of distribution cant be healthy for the network for any period of time.
If that rig went down for any period of time transactions would be insanely slow for a while, but eventually the network would catch up and carry on.

Anyone have any guesses as to who this unknown is?
