As you all are most likely aware of, it is possible to import any SHA256 hash as a bitcoin wallet private key. You can generate SHA256 hashes on this website: http://passwordsgenerator.net/sha256-hash-generator/Is it possible to check on an offline computer which bitcoin address it corresponds to? I'm thinking about creating a brain wallet on an offline machine to store bitcoin on. Thank you for any help

I was thinking how good it'd be to have some sort of service which locks your cryptocurrencies for as long as you choose, which means that you won't fall for the pressure and sell them off (I'm guilty of that). I found this service which claims to help you lock your bitcoins for any amount of time: https://coinb.in/#newTimeLockedI'm unsure about the technicality behind it, but is it truly trustworthy? Is there something similar for ETH, for example? I'd be willing to lock away a few grand for 10 years, but only after careful research.

I've been wondering this for some time. A social network, but only with the following features:
- Sign up - Post status - Like statuses - Comment on statuses - Admin panel to log in and remove spam/illegal content - No photo hosting except profile pic (images in statuses can be embedded though)
How hard is it? It doesn't have to look good, just work as intended.

I discovered that a specific username I want is still free on gab.ai, but I don't want to risk losing by waiting in queue. If you have a gab.ai account, I will buy it from you for $2.

Hey all! I have a contact form where the user has to enter his e-mail address. I want to add another field where the user has to enter it again to verify, and if the input in the two fields doesn't match, the form won't send me an e-mail, and an alert will show where it tells the user to try again. Here is how the form looks like at this moment:<form id="contact_form" action="contact.php" method="POST" enctype="multipart/form-data">
<label for="name"> Name: </label><br /> <input type="text" id="name" name="from" required><br />
<label for="email"> E-mail address: </label><br /> <input type="text" id="email" name="email" required><br />
<label for="message"> Message </label><br /> <input type="text" id="message" name="message" required><br />
<input id="submit" type="submit" name="submit" value="Send" />
</form> The form already works well, so there's no problem with that. As stated, I only want to add a second e-mail field and use javascript to check if the value in both fields match. I figure it's easy to do with very basic js skills, but I only have basic HTML skills. :p Thank you for any help!

I'm willing to pay $50 to someone who can create a website for me. It's very simple, but it takes HTML, CSS, JS & PHP skills I believe. If you think you can do this, send me a PM and show some previous work if you have any. I will then give you the details.

I've been thinking lately, is it common that people place bets against whom they support in for example soccer games or presidential elections? I'm thinking about doing exactly this for the upcoming US presidential elections. I want A to win the election later this year, so I will put my money on B. A WINS -> I'm happy because A is the new President A LOSES -> I'm happy because now I have more money to wipe my tears with (joke but you get it ) EDIT: I made a flowchart to illustrate my point better, I used the US elections as example for this one!
