3  Economy / Service Discussion / WARNING: ibwt.co.uk UK exchange on: October 29, 2013, 07:44:16 PM
I just found out that they are not accepting any deposit at the moment, and they will use a new deposit method.

If you are going to deposit any fund, please don't until they have finish their new deposit system.

I found out, because I just deposited some fund into their exchange. Then within a minute Joel of ibwt sent me an email telling me don't deposit any fund, because that account is closed. Now I am stuck, my money got transfer into their closed bank account. Joel is quite a nice guy as I have spoken with him twice before this posting. He will resolve this asap to me.

So don't deposit anything until they change their new system in a week time.

5  Bitcoin / Mining support / ASICMiner Blade hardware reset?? on: October 25, 2013, 07:57:00 PM
Hi, I have no idea how to do a hardware reset. I think I need to do it. My blade was working perfectly, until my dad told me to relocate all my mining equipment to my room. When I plug the blade's power and network cable nothing happens. I tried to go to the web interface, it is unreachable.

How do I do a hardware reset or factory reset?

Thanks  Sad

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / mcxNOW needs to add Namecoin on: October 02, 2013, 03:06:08 PM
I think mcxNOW needs to add Namecoin. The only reason I am using BTC-e as well as mcxNOW, is because mcxNOW doesn't have Namecoin.

@TheRealSolid: Could you please add Namecoin to mcxNOW?

Anyone else wants mcxNOW to add Namecoin?

Today I was going to buy 2 miners from your company, and discovered that you no longer accepts Credit Card or Paypal!!

Dragonkid,

Due to circumstances outside of our control, we have been forced to suspend accepting payments through PayPal.

I apologize for any inconvenience this is causing you, but we are working on getting an alternate credit card processor as soon as possible.

We are still accepting BitCoin and wire transfer, and since the availability is limited, we encourage our customers to secure payment through one of these methods to ensure your place in queue.

Regards,
CoinTerra Support

I just thought other members need to know they no longer accepts Credit Card or Paypal.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Newbie question about BTC-e and International Accounts in the UK on: September 23, 2013, 09:54:41 PM
Hi I am new to this new world of different currencies. I have been playing in BTC-e at the moment. And I am puzzle about how to withdraw the USD or EUR into my bank account.

I only have a Natwest Select Current Account. Do I need to open an International Currency Account to transfer the USD or EUR from BTC-e? Also do I use wire transfer? or use that VISA International?

Or is there another way to do it? Or the idea in trading in BTC-e is really keep the currency in the BTC-e exchange and only take back when it is BTC and transfer only back to my BTC wallet? What do all you members do? Please advice.

Thanks

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / mcxNOW balance error? on: September 21, 2013, 11:30:40 PM
I am a bit puzzle, and hope some members who uses mcxNOW can clear this up to me.

In my account, in the section of LTC. I can see that I have 0 available balance, but I got money in the total balance? What is going on? Should I email to them and tell them there is an error or am I missing something?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Using ASIC to mine BTC convert it to Litecoin, a better way to get Litecoin? on: September 20, 2013, 12:05:20 PM
I have been thinking, if I have £2000 (US$ 3213) to either buy 5 x ASICMiner Blades to mine Bitcoin, or build a Litecoin Mining Rig using 7 GPUs (Which cost about the same amount of money)

What if, I use ASIC mining BTC and then do a currency exchange for some of the BTC to LTC (So I can mine the best of both world). Would I get more LTC this way using the same amount of time and money?

5 x ASICMiner Blades should use less electricity than 7 GPUs right? Also ASIC is faster in hashing then GPUs?

Or if I really want to have some LTC, I should just build the Mining Rig with 7 GPUs, because I might get more Litecoin this way?

I am not good with maths that is why I need to ask about this and hope some members can enlighten me.

Thanks

Dragonkid
19  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Which one to buy right now ASICMiner Blade or CoinTerra? on: September 19, 2013, 03:19:41 PM
I am really confused which one to buy right now ASICMiner Blade or CoinTerra? I am thinking about getting either 10 x 10GH/s ASICMiner Blade or 1 x 2 TH/s CoinTerra which will not get deliver until January 2014.  Cry

Which one should I get right now? Will I get my ROI quicker by buying 10 Blade? Or wait for the best and pre-order the CoinTerra 2 TH/s which is more powerful but that will be in 4 months time?  Huh

Also I am confused about how many GH/s = 1 TH/s  Huh

Thanks for your time.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / MSI Z77A-GD65 Motherboard with 7 GPU?? on: September 18, 2013, 01:47:37 PM

I am in the process in building a Litecoin Rig, and I am ordering the MSI Z77A-GD65 Motherboard. From the picture it looks like it can support 7 GPUs. But on a Internet article I read that someone made a 6 GPU rig using this motherboard.

Am I correct in thinking it can support 7 GPU?
