6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Amount of addresses created on Testnet3 on: September 10, 2013, 07:17:04 PM
Hi

With using Testnet=1 our and using client we find that after about 300 addresses our RPC calls fail to work with Json.

We create a unique address for each transaction, appreciate we could block off 100 and re-circulate them but would rather not.

We have since started using -daemon and running tests now but has anyone else found this problem via running-qt?

We have ran into this problem 3 times now, obviously we are testing in sandbox mode but don't believe we can be the only ones?

Our transactions have exceeded 1,100 with no problems it's just when the addresses reach over 300.

apart from this everything is smooth.

thanks

7  Economy / Gambling / RapidBalls.eu - Official Thread - Free Vouchers on: September 08, 2013, 06:55:22 PM
Hi All

This will be the official thread for RapidBalls.eu going forward.

http://rapidballs.eu

RapidBalls is a random 5 minute Lotto that draws 6 random numbers from an available 49, we offer various ways for a participant to win BitCoins against stakes placed.

Currently the site is in Testnet mode, meaning that we are currently testing out the site with those who have Testnet3 Bitcoin setups.

Prior to going live with real BTC we are interested in feedback from the Gambling forum, we have released it to the Software Development forum earlier to allow their feedback.

If anyone has any direct questions or comments, please feel free to PM

Thanks
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / [Testnet] RapidBalls.eu on: September 08, 2013, 03:04:05 PM
Hi Development

We have just launched our Testnet version of RapidBalls and are looking for testers to help test.

With the launch we have added an incentive for those who want to be involved to win 0.5BTC, details are below.

We are looking to release the real BTC version of RapidBalls within 10 days but appreciate getting experienced feedback prior.

The site url is http://testnet.rapidballs.eu

The challenge/incentive is:

Testnet3 Challenge

We are currently testing RapidBalls, and as you can appreciate we want to make sure that everything is running smoothly. In order to do this we want our game to be tested. Therefore, we have opened up a challenge that will allow everyone to help us and 1 lucky winner will win a reward in return.

What is the Challenge?

Simply this, when you play RapidBalls and if you play Lotto the first stake to hit 5 balls will win 0.5 BTC and we don't mean Testnet BTC the real thing. We have included some basic rules for those that need them.

The Rules

1. The winner will only be for the first placed and confirmed Stake to hit 5 numbers with Lotto.

2. If we have multiple winners during the same draw, then the prize will be shared equally.

3. Our decision is final.

4. If you do NOT agree with these terms, do not participate.

5. Players must be 18 years or older to participate.

6. RapidBalls is not currently a Real BTC site.

7. The winning award will be transferred to the BTC address given at the time of placing the winning Stake within the indicated text field.

8. If the server crashes during the promotion, all stakes stand and when it returns the game will continue.

9. The Stake amount you place is not relevant to the challenge.

10. The Stake requires 1 confirmation prior to being entered into the next available draw.

11. You can place as many stakes as you want.

12. Winner's address will be posted here when transaction is completed with the Transaction details for a period of 5 days, please allow up to 12 hours for receipt whilst it is being verified.

13. With there being no costs associated to this challenge, if we feel it is being abused we may stop the challenge at any time prior to any stake winning without warning.
