The immediate reason I registered is because I need to PM someone regarding Mastercoin.
I discovered bitcoin few month ago and was blown away by it.
I really think it can make a great difference in the world, we just need to wait for that bitcoin killer app ("bitcoin for grandmothers") that will make it easy and secure to deal with, without the need of knowing too much technical info (I don't see my grandma uses keepass to secure her funds...).
