Installation & Mining

1. Run the QT wallet.
2. Shut down the QT wallet.
3. Modify your joulecoin.conf as above. Change your password under rpcpassword. The conf file is usually located under \Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Joulecoin
4. Restart the QT wallet
5. Open the port 26789 on your router to allow incoming P2P connections
6. Wait for connections to the network
7. Wait for the chain to be downloaded
8. For solo mining: point your SHA miner at your qt client (usually 127.0.0.1 if on the same machine), port 8844 and use the rpcuser and password configured in your .conf file.
