I sell a range of foil hats that protect you from the attentions of the lizard people. They eat fudders you know.

I won't buy into your scam. A quick search on google will provide enough details on how I can make my own tin foil hat for pennies on the dollar.

Your automated humorless bot does not amuse me. It does give me pause however there is no hope for humanity. Cease and desist.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Scrypt ASICS, ASIC resistance, and GPU mining. on: April 24, 2014, 06:17:09 PM
This is both a question and I'm going to offer a prediction.

There's a lot of talk about the new scrypt asics hitting the market and what it means for scrypt technology. Some are in favor of them while others are not, and there are good reasons on either side of the issue. Some say that new technology like X-11 should be implemented across the board to ensure that scrypt mining is made more resistant to centralization, whereas others believe that asic's are the future of the crypto mining world.

What do you think will happen in the coming days for scrypt coin technology?

I will offer this prediction. I think that some coins (not predicting which ones) will welcome asic tech, while others will implement measures to counter the technology. It will happen organically and the market will benefit from this activity. Each developer making the decision based on the needs and philosophy of the coin they work on based on their respective markets and client base. This activity will not only strengthen the scrypt market but will also allow further developments to arise such as possible hybrids that work well with both GPU and asic tech, working in harmony to achieve a solid transaction network.

5  Bitcoin / Group buys / Group Buy organizers please read. on: January 07, 2014, 04:33:51 AM
Can all of you please for the love of the crypto gods update your postings to reflect open/closed.

Many a time have I gotten excited to click on an "Open" group buy only to find out it ended 12 years ago.

 Huh

It doesn't look like the news has made it over here yet, so I thought I'd take a moment to share the Feathercoin-Link link. Smiley

Some amazing work by members of the Feathercoin community. I take no credit, I'm just spreading the word.

I tip my hat. Smiley
7  Bitcoin / Group buys / KnCMiner Neptune Group Buy [CLOSED] 11/28/2013 on: November 29, 2013, 12:20:47 AM

0/100 shares KnC Neptune Quarter1 2014 Delivery # 13179
0/100 shares KnC Neptune Quarter1 2014 Delivery # 13182
0/100 shares KnC Neptune Quarter1 2014 Delivery # 13183
0/100 shares KnC Neptune Quarter1 2014 Delivery # 13184

459/500 shares available.

BTC: https://coinbase.com/checkouts/13640a9e7fceae5a08cea809aeee865e
Payment link updated to allow for additional share purchases, sorry for the oversight.
Price $122.00 per 30 GH/s share, 100 shares per miner. Extra BTC collected will be used for prepaid hosting and Bitcoin variance.

All miners will be hosted through Bobsag3's hosting or similar facility. BTC Payments will be automated through a secure payment server managed by an Internet Technologies professional. There is a 1-2% pool fee (we like to encourage the technology and support secure mining pools), a 3% management fee (edit) and 250~350 a month hosting fee. Mining will be pointed to Eligius and BitMinter as they have the best overall share payment structure in my opinion.

I am fairly new to the forum however I have perfect eBay feedback, and I am also currently running a small group buy on a KnCMiner Mercury. The machine is hashing at 140 GH/s despite the dreaded die 0 issue, and I’m managing all aspects of the operation. I take your trust at the utmost importance while running a professional operation.

GB Forum: http://w11.zetaboards.com/Bills_Crypto_Mining/index/

This is a group buy for a pre-order for a future delivery date. I will not be held responsible if KnCMiner fails to deliver. I can only promise to fulfill my role as the group buy organizer and mining operator.

Thank you for your consideration. Smiley

8  Bitcoin / Group buys / A purchasing power group buy on: November 25, 2013, 06:49:46 PM
Purchasing Power Group Buy | 696/1000 shares remaining | 96/100 reserved remaining
0.1 BTC/share: 13Ua5LJExEFwjszdMdRCiFZ33FoYg9v67Q

Current Hashing Power: 210.56058133 GH/s
Current shares held: 208 | ROI Shares: 29 | ROI Queue: 139
Reserve BTC: 4.00000000 | Earned BTC: 2.97725998

I am selling 1000 shares at 0.1 BTC each. This will be invested in the cloud hashing service cex-io to generate revenue. The first 100 shares are on reserve for my group buy, if they don’t buy them all I will add the remaining shares for purchase here.

Phase one: All BTC will be returned on investment which should take 3-4 months give or take. I will begin repayment on a first come first serve basis so early adopters will incur the least amount of risk. I will take no profits during this phase to insure everyone gets ROI as quickly as possible barring any unforeseen issues with cex-io.

Phase two: 80% of BTC generated after ROI will be reinvested in group buys for additional hashing power, the remaining 20% will be reinvested back into cex-io. From this additional hashing power 80% of all BTC generated less GB expenses will be paid based on your share percentage, the remaining 20% will be used for reinvestment purposes for additional group buys and or moving into phase 3 actual mining hardware.

Phase three: Mining hardware will be purchased, professionally managed and hosted. 80% of all BTC generated less hosting expenses will be paid to investors based on share percentage, the remaining 20% will be reinvested back into additional mining hardware.

I will take a 3% management fee of gross during phase 2 and phase 3 which will run concurrently.

If all goes according to plan this will be a great way to increase your cloud hashing power with minimal risk as cex is already hashing and we’re not relying on untested companies in the initial phase. Yeah you can invest with cex-io individually, but with a group investment we acquire purchasing power. edit* Once this program is fully funded I will not sell anymore shares and I will not create a new program.

Who am I?

Well I’m fairly new to the forum. I started a small KnC group buy on eBay and have been running all aspects of it’s operation so I am familiar with the technology. I have also invested a little BTC into a couple of DZ’s group buys, so I have some roots in the community. I have a perfect eBay rating as well and I bet my reputation on the success of this program.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Hello people on: September 22, 2013, 06:26:08 AM
I'm new to these forums as a registered user, however I have lurked for several weeks. Looks like a good community, I hope to get to know you.

I'm a self taught computer repair technician, however I don't do that by trade, too much cursing and shouting especially at name brand laptops that refuse to play nice when trying to install an OS, so I make my living by other means. My main motivation for registering here is to participate in group buys of hashing power, and I have a few opinions to contribute.

*edited for clarity.
