1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin scaling problem will be solved on: February 07, 2018, 01:55:40 PM
Im not a brilliant programmer, I dont even have fancy tittle, the things that I can just proudly say for now, is ive been an activist back in my freshman and im also just a big fan of this crypto and the technology behind it, Cause it empowers people, can help prevent few people abuse thier power if this bitcoin and blockchain is raise well like our own son, well cared and sustained.

Its scalability well be solved, this was the same problem faced back then when the internet was new. It was hard back then to send messages.

Kilobytes messages back then takes few hours, megabytes takes few days it takes longer days for bigger bytes of data to reached its destination. Look at that problem today, we can even send gigabytes in few seconds.

Bitcoin is still young, it just need to be sustained of proper codes by the brilliant programmer. We must support it, stop listening to those critics. most of them are the same critics that says bitcoin will burst or in doubt in this new technology, the same people whom are the benefeciary of centralized system.

We should encourage its mass adaption, we must tell people of its great potential, how it empowers the unbanked. giving them the capability to engage in global economy, how it can disrupt the centralized system that reward greed people and how it can possibly change the world.

By that we can encourage great young minds to contribute in this great technology and let's all hope that the problem bitcoin faced today will be solved. Thats not impossible, because if the criticism of those people against bitcoin is all true on the first place. Bitcoin, the other cryptocurrency and even this forum should have gone long ago.

With bitcoin, blockchain and other crypto in front, the future is bright. I believed in that. let's make it happen! Let's make it fast! Let's do our part to make this world fair and better place for all of us!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to explain the value of bitcoin on: February 03, 2018, 01:52:27 AM
The attacks in bitcoin are mostly headed in to the argument that bitcoin has no value. Though there are a lot of argument to throw, I will share some point to invalidate their argument. Because it's really invalid.

In the field of economics, it says that, there are characteristic to determine if an object has value.

First, scarcity, if X (E.g. Bitcoin) has LIMITED supply then MAYBE it has value. Same in the nature of gold, gas and other minerals, one of the reason why its very expensive and it's getting more expensive as the time pass because it has limited supply.

If you read it carefully I use the word "maybe" because scarcity dont mean value, It's a factor that affects the value. If X is scarce but it has no use or not needed, it wont matter. X must have viable use, that would lead us to the second principle of economics.

The "intrinsic value" can we use bitcoin? will it ease our life? Does it have a viable use? Guest what? Its a YES! With bitcoin we can send money around the world, fast and secure without any intermediary. Directly! Anytime! anywhere! online.

Without bitcoin or other crypto those characteristic of money that is present in bitcoin (e.g divisible into millidecimal, fast, secure etc) is imposible to find on FIAT! Stop on that. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! Tell them.

To sum up, according to the principle of economics, to know if X has value it must posses some characteristics which is

1. Scarcity
2. Intrinsic value

Does bitcoin had those kind of characteristics? Yes! Its scarce and has intrinsic value. So according to economics, BITCOIN HAS VALUE! Tell it to them, then leave.

If you find this valueable dont forget to merit me! Yaaay!  Grin

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Price of bitcoin due to expiring future contract on: January 27, 2018, 02:25:10 PM
I bump to a lot of news in the groups and discussion in sovial media about the price of btc may go up or down becuase of that expiring future contract.
My thought is, I dont think it will hugely affect the price of btc, becuase of the limit per contract, I mean look, why would you spend a lot of money to manipulate the btc for a small amount? Manipulating btc would be costly, and hard, becuase of its volatility, few news comes up and the market over react. If it happen, your plan would be rekt. So. Idont think, these expiring future contract will matter most.
Whats your thoughts in these subject?

12  Local / Pilipinas / Pinakamurang fee on: December 29, 2017, 03:36:54 PM
*may bayad ba talaga pag nag convert ng php to btc? Medyo malaki kasi nabawas nung ng convert ako sa coins.ph, iniisip ko baka dahil lang sa dami ng transaction nitong last few weeks, o malaki talaga fee?
13  Economy / Marketplace / "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: December 25, 2017, 03:00:56 PM
Ive met some group of financial adviser, they told me that the best way to aquire bitcoin is through cloud mining, they gave me names of trusted cloud mining providers and as of my research, they are well known and trusted.
Then ive met some people, whos already earning big bucks on bitcoin, they dont recommend cloud mining. They told me that its expensive and risky, but as for my understanding its good way of gaining passive income.
What are the possible reason on thier contradiction?
Whos recommendation should i try and why?
