1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Oldest Bitcoin Paid to Click? on: April 18, 2020, 01:23:10 AM
Bored, under quarantine and feeling a little nostalgic.
I'm pretty sure I remember the very first, but curious what other people remember.

My answer isn't one of the obvious ones...  Huh

I checked it with Waybackmachine too https://archive.org/web/

I could be wrong though, maybe someone has a deeper memory than I.

I realize this the farthest thing from a Service Announcement,
but it's microearnings...  Grin

2  Economy / Service Announcements / File.Army - Get paid BTC for free image hosting on: November 11, 2017, 12:47:56 PM
This is a super cool new site I found, really easy to use for image hosting.

Best though part you get paid BTC for it.  Cool

You get paid when someone view, likes, or follows you... no referrals though.

I suggest you get into this early and come up with a good name, for SEO and all.

I go hiking a lot with my dog Indy the Corgi, so I chose my profile to be: https://file.army/corgi

If you don't think he is the goodest dog ever he will bite your ankles...  Wink

Don't worry I have a lot more corgi pics to upload, the dog is crazy.

Edit:

Upon further reading on their Reddit, it looks like they are no longer paying, you all should still check out Indy,
or a mod can delete this.

#1 site listed for "bitcoin payment proof"

#2 & #3 site listed for "bitcoin paid to click", #3 listed for "bitcoin ptc"

It probably ranks with other good keywords but you get the idea.... Grin

7  Economy / Service Discussion / BitcoinAliens promoting the scam Paidverts on: March 17, 2015, 05:52:05 PM

I am subscribed to BitcoinAliens emails, just got one promoting Paidverts.

This paid to click site is a scam... Angry

http://ptccentral.com/paidverts-review/

You need to "invest" to make any money in the site...

This is just as bad as when they were promoting hashprofit and other scam cloud mining sites.

I ended up losing BTC0.30 in hashprofits because of that recommendation,

they should just stick to promoting faucets if they can't investigate sites properly...

I had to stop my "Drain the Faucet" contest (where the last withdraw would win)

because FaucetBox isn't providing addresses at the moment.

I asked them when it would be back and they said they didn't know.  Huh

Just like the subject, make all the claims you want with no timer.

I will make one deposit daily based on site revenue and how generous I'm feeling.

10  Economy / Service Announcements / [ANN] BitcoinWorkInfo - Unlimited Faucet, Faucet Rotator, Offerwall, & More! on: March 01, 2015, 11:15:53 PM
I've had my site up since Sept. 2013, it was one of the first sites promoting other bitcoin sites. Smiley

http://bitcoinwork.info/earn-free-bitcoin.html

I've got an awesome list of free / earning bitcoin sites, many I'm sure you have never heard of,
also have a payment proof section for most of the sites listed. Ranks #1 on google for "bitcoin payment proof"... Grin

The site also has a bitcoin offerwall, and a faucet surfer as well.

I've just had a new faucet put in, 40 satoshi a claim, unlimited claims, no wait.

http://bitcoinwork.info/earn-free-bitcoin.html#faucet

I'm going to see how it goes, and hopefully increase the claim rate. Try not to drain it all..lol

No referral system as of yet, my server wasn't liking it.

Come pay the site a visit!  Cool
11  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-2-19] Zerohedge: Guest Post: Bitcoin - The Effete Act Of Rebellion on: February 20, 2015, 03:17:13 AM

"Using Bitcoin is an effete act of rebellion, a weak signifier of resistance like wearing a hoodie or getting a tattoo that’s well covered by your work clothes. Bitcoin is fashion, more than a fad but less than lasting."

12  Other / Politics & Society / Pledge to support MAYDAY PAC to end the power of money in American politics on: July 05, 2014, 02:36:25 AM
I found this on posted in the comments of Zerohedge... http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-07-04/give-me-liberty
Anyways... The MAYDAY PAC take bitcoin donations.  Grin

Here is the comment, I'm just going to copy and paste, because I'm lazy.

To the Americans in the audience:

What we have now is a plutocracy, not a democracy.  Our Republic has been hijacked by the 0.1% elite.

Our political system is a pay-to-play racket where the popular will no longer matters.  Money is now the determinate factor for decision making.  It was never supposed to be this way but our equally hijacked SCOTUS thinks otherwise.

This country is in ruins only it doesn't know it yet.

Dear ZH fans, help America return to the democratic republic it once was.  Are you sending money to progressive or conservative or populist causes?  STOP!

Make your money count.  Pledge to support Harvard Law Professor Lawrence Lessig's MAYDAY PAC to end the power of money in politics: Go to the MAYDAY PAC website and make a donation!

https://mayday.us/newpledge/?utm_source=All+Supporters+List&utm_campaign...

Wiki:

Mayday PAC began in May 2014.[2] Its long-term goal is to raise sufficient funds to elect a majority in the House and 60 senators to vote for fundamental reform of the system of campaign finance, according to Lessig.[3]

Yes, we want to spend big money to end the influence of big money... Ironic, I get it. But embrace the irony.
—Lawrence Lessig in May 2014[2]
The fund-raising plan is a variation on traditional crowd funding approaches in that specified fund-raising targets must be met by certain dates.[10] Lessig explained that the immediate goal is to raise enough money to sway five elections to Congress.[4] He said:

We’ve structured this as a series of matched-contingent goals. We’ve got to raise $1 million in 30 days; if we do, we’ll get that $1 million matched. Then we’ve got to raise $5 million in 30 days; if we do, we’ll get that $5 million matched as well. If both challenges are successful, then we’ll have the money we need to compete in 5 races in 2014. Based on those results, we’ll launch a (much much) bigger effort in 2016 — big enough to win.
—Lessig, May 2014[10]

I'm behind on my taxes!  Shocked

I have developed (to the best of my abilities) bitcoinwork.info...

Specifically: http://bitcoinwork.info/earn-free-bitcoin.html

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitcoinwork.info

It is currently on the first page of google for "free bitcoin"  Grin

I also own the domain workplaybitcoin.com, which hasn't been developed at all....

Any idea what they might be worth?  Huh

I don't know what to think of the valuation services for domains that I find through google.
