1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to remove the Dust of 1 Satoshi Spam tx on: October 01, 2014, 05:56:08 PM
The unspent Satoshi are bloating the UTXO, which is bad for the network.

How can I get rid of my confirmed Satoshis?

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Solving all of Bitcoins Problems :: EUROPE COIN on: March 22, 2014, 10:52:03 PM

The proposition

Bitcoin transactions take 9 minutes to confirm.
We are still testing what is doable, but 0.3 - 0.4 seconds block time seems best.
You get 2 to 3 confirmations per second.

Algorithm

Proof of work or stake is not needed because blocks are so fast.

Location

The coin is for Europe, to help it's banking system.
Airdrop on July 4th, US Indepence day, because only Europeans get it.

Pools

No Pools, no Mining client, as we don't need mining in this revolutionary coin.

No Wallets to download, only cloud wallet.
Get it here.

Number of Coins

Zero Premine!
Zero Mining!
But we distribute the coins to all Europeans.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Fresh Coins on: January 03, 2014, 06:27:11 AM
Is there a way to get my hands on coins which are freshly mined?

I want coins which have only been around for a short amount of time, a max of 4 tx deep to reach the newly created output from a block.

How do I get my hands on those?

On the flip side, if I wanted to get old, very worn coins, from on the first blocks with endlessly deep spending trees, how can I get those?

Thanks
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Blockchain - Strange Transactions on: January 02, 2014, 12:23:34 AM

Blockchain.info has a list of so called Strange Transactions: https://blockchain.info/strange-transactions

Can someone explain this?

These transactions look a lot like block reward. No output for 25.xxx BTC which is just block reward + fees.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / best mixing service on: November 25, 2013, 10:28:10 PM
What mixing service would you recommend?

It should be cheap and mixed well, of course. No huge amounts.

Thanks.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Withholding blocks on: November 08, 2013, 10:04:44 PM
So say I find an input which hashes to a difficulty above the current one. Instead of n leading zero I get n+1 or n+2 etc. Does it make sense to withhold the block? Especially if I get a bunch of those, like a mining pool would, they could spam once the difficulty actually does goes up, force another difficulty increase because of that, spam again, etc, until some others are pushed out of profitable mining.

Probably doesn't make sense but yeah I was curious if that thought makes sense.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Chain Spam on: October 27, 2013, 07:06:10 PM
This is probably discussed and answered somewhere but

Can the chain become too long?

What if I spam transactions? Like send micro payments between millions of my own accounts?

How many places actually need to store the whole chain? I got it downloaded now but it's quite large already and it's probably gonna get longer faster than memory prices drop?!

Thanks
