A quick glance at https://vircurex.comReveals that litecoin is not secured by all that much network hash. Am i missing something? Sure litecoin has volume and high market cap but several coins crush litecoin in terms of total hash. Ixcoin, the clone of bitcoin with all minting done for instance absolutely devestates litecoin in security hash. |

Think about it.
If you were a large institutional investor, say a hedge-fund manager, you would probably pay an analyst to, well, analyze bitcoin. I'm sure one of the punch list items that needed fixed PRIOR to investing would be the scalability issue.
Ergo, bitcoin needs to be seen as to be able to scale properly.
Maybe the CIA/CFR told Gavin that he needed to get bitcoin fixed up ASAP and ready for the near future as they are just itching to crash the global economy and institute their NWO.
Want Bitcoin to go to the moon? , well then these big hedgefund guys need to feel safe about the scaling.

What if the administrator of this place, (bitcointalk), allowed coin communities to have their own subsection for a price?
Alot of coin communities label bitcointalk as toxic. They then start their own forum. Traffic leaves with them. Why not encourage their traffic to stay.
Rules could be:
If a coin announcement has been here for 1 year and has x number of views then the coin community would have the option to buy a subsection of bitcointalk dedicated to their coin.
I'd imagine the altcoin section would still have a general discussion section like now but in addition, a coin community could buy the rights to have a subsection in the altcoin area where they could post dedicated threads to that coin.
Could generate some extra money for the site. And who doesn't like money?

The draconian new law also requires all transactions to provide the State documentation of a description of the goods sold, and the client’s personal information including name, address, driver’s license number and the license plate number!If this is legit then WOW!!! edit, looks like most of this law is from 2011. Not sure what the "update" is then. I wonder how this law has been working for LA residents?
