I have enough with mining altcoin. I currently have 2 rig, here are the specs:
Rig 1:Intel Celeron, running 2 x 7950. MSI Z77A-GD65 Motherboard. AX860i PSU Rig 2:Intel 3rd Generation Core i7-3770K CPU (4 x 3.50GHz, Ivy Bridge, Socket 1155, 8Mb L3 Cache, Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0), running 1 x 7970 and 1 x 7950. AsRock Z77 OC Formula Motherboard. AX860i PSU I am thinking of stripping the Rig 1 GPUs and move them to Rig 2. And then get a smaller case for Rig 1 to just use this as a desktop computer. For the Rig 2, with the combine GPUs I will end up having 4 GPUs on one gaming rig. I am going to get a full gaming tower case (Coolermaster HAF Stacker 935 Large Tower), looking for a motherboard which support 4 GPUs, the mobo I got at the moment only support 3 GPUs. Here are some questions about the transformation of Rig 2, as I am not really that good with PC hardwares. So please give me some suggestion. 1) Should I get the Corsair AX1500i PSU, so I can have more than enough power to potential upgrade to 2 x Asus Radeon R9 295X2 or in the future? 2) If I change the mobo to Asus Maximus V Extreme will I be able to use 4 GPUs? If not can anyone recommend a good gaming mobo which support 4 GPUs with Socket 1155 CPU. 3) I am going to get Corsair H110 Hydro CPU Cooler for the CPU. And with this case I read that I can put lots of fans in this case. If I am only going to play games on this rig, will the cooling be enough? If I can help it, I don't want to touch watercooling of the GPUs, I am not that good with hardware, I might end up flooding the whole rig. 4) With 1 x 7950 and 3 x 7950 I read that I can Quadfire them together. Will the graphic be 4K? 5) Also I like the new Nvidia Shield Tablet, do I need to have a Nvidia GPU to connect to this tablet? If so I might end up getting 2 x Titan Z when they drop the price. Why can't the Bitcoin development be more like Linux?
Linux has a huge development team. So many people take part in updating it. If you run Linux on your computer, you will know there are always updates. All these updates are created by the open source community. So why can't Bitcoin development be more like Linux?
What are we missing? Or maybe the development team will grow as big as the team of Linux?

1st lie:He lied about my miner is broken so all of you will think I am the bad guy. He said he will refund me on the phone, then he broke his promise. 2nd lie:He said he will get 1TH/s miner in, but it is still not to be found. 3rd lie:He lied about the advantage of buying from him, is because MiningHardware.co.uk is a Limited Company and registered in the UK. I got one of my staff to do a credit check on him, he is only a Sole Trader not a Limited Company. Stop buying from this lying son of a b****!!

ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING AN APPLICATION FOR COMMENCEMENT OF A PROCEDURE OF CIVIL REHABILITATION
MtGox Co., Ltd. made today an application for commencement of a procedure of civil rehabilitation (minji saisei) at the Tokyo District Court. This application was accepted on the same day. Further, MtGox Co., Ltd is under several orders issued by the Court : a preservative order prohibiting it from paying its debts, transferring its assets or establishing security over its assets, an order establishing a comprehensive prohibition of forced attachment of its assets by its creditors and a supervisory order ordering supervision by a supervisory committee. In consequence, MtGox hereby informs you as follows.
We first express our most sincere regrets and apologies for this situation and for causing so much inconvenience to all our users and other interested parties. We will fully respect the above orders and maintain our assets with all the necessary care.
Financial situation, reasons and timeline leading to this application
(1) As of now, the liabilities of MtGox Co., Ltd exceed its assets and its financial situation is as follows:
Total amount of assets 3,841,866,163
Total amount of current liabilities 6,501,119,371
(2) The increase of current liabilities may be linked to a loss of bitcoins and customer funds. These are now investigated by an expert and all efforts are made to discover the truth. This application was prompted by the following troubles:
At the start of February 2014, illegal access through the abuse of a bug in the bitcoin system resulted in an increase in incomplete bitcoin transfer transactions and we discovered that there was a possibility that bitcoins had been illicitly moved through the abuse of this bug.
As a result of our internal investigation, we found that a large amount of bitcoins had disappeared. Although the complete extent is not yet known, we found that approximately 750,000 bitcoins deposited by users and approximately 100,000 bitcoins belonging to us had disappeared.
We believe that there is a high probability that these bitcoins were stolen as a result of an abuse of this bug and we have asked an expert to look at the possibility of a criminal complaint and undertake proper procedures.
On the same day (24th), we found out large discrepancies between the amount of cash held in financial institutions and the amount deposited from our users. The amounts are still under investigation and may vary but they approximate JPY 2.8 billion.
We are investigating the causes of these problems. Since there are probably a variety of causes including hacking by third parties, we need to investigate a huge amount of transaction reports in order to establish the truth. As of this date, we cannot confirm the exact amount of missing deposit funds and the total amount of bitcoins which disappeared.
Once we discovered that bitcoins had disappeared and the discrepancies between cash funds and deposit balances, we judged that it would be difficult to continue our activities normally and we therefore closed our site at noon on the 25th (Japan time).
(3) Regarding the filing of a complaint or damages report, an expert has been mandated and investigations have started. We will make all efforts to ensure that crimes are punished and damages recovered.
Further we will fully cooperate with inquiries from authorities and investigations related to this matter, in Japan or overseas.
In order to increase repayments to our creditors, it is necessary to explore the possibility of having MtGox Co., Ltd. continue its business. This is why the civil rehabilitation procedure has been chosen, Rebuilding MtGox Co., Ltd under the supervision of the court in a legally organized procedure while giving proper explanations will not be for the sole benefit of the company but for that of the whole bitcoin community.
All efforts will now be made to restore the business and recover damages to repay debts to creditors. We hope for the understanding and cooperation of all.

Hi, I used to only have 2 cards in my MSI Z77A GD65. But now I got 6 cards, and I am running into trouble. I am using 2 x AX860i power supply. No power riser (I have order some on the way), just normal riser. I am also running xubuntu. Whenever I do. sudo aticonfig --lsa
sudo aticonfig --adapter=all --initial
I can see that my 6 cards are listed. Then I reboot the rig and run cgminer. The cgminer only sees 2 cards and sometime 3 cards. But never 6 cards. What did I do wrong? Do I need power riser? Is that why? Thank for your help. |

We study the risk investors face from Bitcoin exchanges, which convert between Bitcoins and hard currency. We examine the track record of 40 Bitcoin exchanges established over the past three years, and find that 18 have since closed, with customer account balances often wiped out. Fraudsters are sometimes to blame, but not always. Us- ing a proportional hazards model, we find that an exchange’s transaction volume indicates whether or not it is likely to close. Less popular exchanges are more likely to be shut than popular ones. We also present a logistic regression showing that popular exchanges are more likely to suffer a security breach. |

This quite simply, very very annoying to all members. As he is a bad seller. He made up story about I broke my miner, I never broke it.
