1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Hash speed - Small variance after a few days of mining on: July 14, 2011, 01:01:16 AM
My hash speed on all three workers is getting a variance on like 10% after a few days of non stop mining. Going between 410 and 440 MHash/s on the 5870. 210 and 230 MHash/s on the 6850

Why is this? Also, sometimes they die for no reason. This is only for my 5870's... Not the 6850.

This is my flags for the 6850
Code:
phoenix.exe -u http://xxxx:xxxx@bitcoins.lc:8080/ DEVICE=0 BFI_INT VECTORS AGGRESSION=10 -k phatk

For the 5870
Code:
phoenix.exe -u http://xxxx:xxxx@bitcoins.lc:8080/ -k phatk DEVICE=1 VECTORS AGGRESSION=12 WORKSIZE=256 BFI_INT FASTLOOP -q 3

They run on separate machines
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [SOLVED] Sent 17 BTC to MTGox minutes before they shut down on: June 26, 2011, 12:48:52 PM

Anyone else having the same problem? I've sent a request on their support page but as you might know, it takes like 3 days to get an answer

EDIT: Got tired of waiting and checking the tickets. So i went on the IRC and msg'd MagicalTux and he fixed it in two minutes Cheesy
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / [SOLVED] My bitcoins disappeared?! on: June 12, 2011, 02:34:48 PM
Hey! I really need help!!!

I just made a payout from bitcoins.lc on 8,6 BTC. I have my Wallet backed up on a memory stick. So i put the memory stick in another computer, installed bitcoins client and transfered the wallet to the computer. But i cant see the transaction! I still have the other bitcoins on it.
And all of the old transactions are gray'ed out with 0/unconfirmed. And its not redoing all the blocks! It just says "1000 blocks"

Please help!

SOLVED: I removed everything in the Bitcoin directory except for my Wallet. Started the Bitcoin client, downloaded blockchain from May and restarted the client. Waited for about an hour and now i have my coins Smiley
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Project - You donate, I ride my bike a mile! [Help needed] on: June 05, 2011, 01:14:12 AM
Welcome to my new daring project!

Information:

  • I will ride my bicycle 1 mile(1,6km) for each 0.4 BTC donated.
  • If/when the distance is above 40 miles(64,3km), I will do mile/0.4 BTC
  • The date of takeoff is set to 1/8/2011
  • Wallet is stored on an USB-stick with Truecrypt encryption
  • The money will be used to travel around Europe, buying beer and partying. So you know you've done a good deed!

Why am i doing this?
Well, I'm the kind of guy who likes to push things to the very limit. I've thought about just taking my bike and just go, straight forward. No
destination.
But I'm also very lazy Wink However, with the thought of getting payd(also, I love the $$$ Wink ) and people cheering for me, I know I will have the strength to
do this!

Donate to this adress: 1PDaGZofW4KZTfiawZVLpkuXikrnFZRYui

Help needed!
  • I need help with setting up a webpage where you can see how much has been donated.
  • I plan on using Instamapper(http://www.instamapper.com/) to track my location with an iPhone. There is possible to implent an API to a website.
  • How to compensate for the rising BTC and still be able to count distance.

Priority #1 is to get the website up and running with the donation amount and some information.

F.A.Q

Q: Where is this going to happen?
A:
I will start in Stockholm, Sweden

Q: So, where are you going?
A:
As i mentioned, there is no destination. I will spinn a bottle or something to decide direction

Q: Are you an athlete?
A:
Absolutly, not! I'm too lazy to workout and to watch my health

Q: You are super cool! What kind of bike will you be using?
A:
At the moment, I don't have a racer. All i have is a dirtbike and a cruiser. Somehow I will get a decent bike Smiley

5  Bitcoin / Mining / POLL: How much stales do you get? on: June 04, 2011, 08:50:08 PM
I thought it would be fun for everyone to know how everyone is doing on the amount of stales/rejected shares.

Would be sweet if there was somehow possible to answer %,miner and flags. Not possible by a poll here though.

Oh well...
6  Other / Off-topic / Use of GPU after mining is not profitable? on: June 04, 2011, 03:36:35 PM
I think it will be hard to get the graphic cards sold when its not profitable to mine anymore.

So, what else can i do with this power? Folding is out of the question since there is no money in it. I know it can be used to crack passwords, but could i make money on it?

Let your ideas flow Grin

Sincerely, Slasklitta
