Looking to sell my lightly used HIS 6870. Was never overclocked above 1000 MHz, and always run under 75 degrees. I have had it for less than a month, looking for btc equivalent of $160. This is like new, buyer pays shipping. I would prefer paypal for this.

Ok, so I have a rig with 2 5830s, everything's running fine. Now, I added a 6870, updated drivers, and all that, and am using a PCIE x1 to x16 adapter. Windows, device manager, and CCC all see all 3 cards. But when I try to use device 0 and device 3, device 0 is the CPU and device 3 isn't seen. I tried pausing at cmd, and Poclbm only sees the CPU and 2x 5830s. GUIminer also only sees the 2x 5830s and the CPU. What is the proble? Should I try wiping all GPU and ATI drivers and then re installing? Thanks!

Well, I lost around 8 btc after my account on mybitcoin.com was hacked... I had a unique password that was known only by me. If was 13 characters long and filled with upper and lower case letters and numbers. The address is 1MAazCWMydsQB5ynYXqSGQDjNQMN3HFmEu. I looked it up in blockexplorer, and it transferred 4000 btc within a few days. Please reimburse me?

So, I've been mining perfectly fine for a while until today. I had to reboot to test something, and when I did, whichever card I put in the bottom slot stopped working. I know the hardware is fine, and the bottom card works when the top card is out. This happened before I updated to 11.6, and everything was stable until now. CCC only sees the top card, although Afterburner and Windows see both. I tried enabling extended desktop, which did nothing. I don't think my dummy plug is the issue, but I will test that in a minute. When I run the top card alone, it works fine. When I run the bottom card alone, it only gets 300 kh/s. When I run them both together, they both get <1 mh/s. Help!

I need to trade about $30 LR for 1.1 btc. MtGox is insecure, exchanges want fees, and I would like to build a good reputation on here for myself. Buyer goes first.

By underclocking the mem clock on my 5830s, will I be doing any harm? they are at like 800/500. What's the recommended level? This doesn't seem to be bad since the temp only goes lower when I do this.

Hey guys, I just finished building my first rig but have encountered a problem. Whenever I try to run both my 5830s in Crossfire mode enabled, only one runs. Whenever I try to open up a new instance and a new worker with --device=1, poclbm crashes after the first block and says verification failed, check hardware. With Crossfire disabled, the miner will only work using one card. When I open two, they both crash down to 50 kh/s. All the stuff above is WITH the crossfire bridge on the two cards. Without the bridge, one card works, but whenever I try to open a second window of the miner with a different worker and device, it simply divides the use of one card. Help please!
The verification failed thing only happens when the second miner finds its first share. Before that both cards run at 200 mh/s. Dummy plugs make no difference. I've tested the cards, and only the card in the top slot will run. HELP!

I am new to mining and am building my first rig. I have chosen the Radeon 5830 card for its low price and high hashrate, and was wondering if I could effectively double the hashrate by connecting two cards using crossfire connectors. Would this lower the performance compared to using to separate PCI slots on the motherboard? Thanks!
