Up for sale is 16 Antminer S1 underclocked and undervolted running between 100-140 GH and pulling between 160-190W at the wall (only way I have to measure).  Some of these are at 275 and some are at 267.  I have not spent time stabilizing them, just making sure the HW was less than 1%.  For every 3 purchased, I'm including a dell DPS 750 power supply and wire harness (i.e. 14 gauge wire run from the PSU to the terminal blocks on the miner).

We have pallets of books that are all mainly new, but they do have a sticker on the front or back covers.  These books are returns from an online vendor, but we pull out the damaged or destroyed books.

So I was able to get some replacement X3 boards from MS (thank you), and I am going to just move the heat sink from the dead one to the good one.

The heatsink for the asic is held on by 4 screws - simple enough.  On either end of the board is another heat sink and that one is applied with some type of glue, I tried pulling, turning, twisting, etc, but I don't really want to accidentally break the defective board in the process of removing the heatsink.  

I have a heat gun I could try to heat them up, but I didn't want to go too hot and melt anything.

It seems as though these two were part of a later batch - the main backplane even being dated in july 2014.  The allegedly not needed green capaciters were never installed.  These are missing the lcd screen - but the circuit that drives the machine appears to be the same.  The power supply is the sunshine ap188, has a CE logo on the sticker, for what it's worth. 

Plugged them booted them up - went to the Prospero control panel and saw that they were mining for minersource.net at btcguild.

Checked the hash history and they were run for exactly 1 day the week before.

Update: Needed a replacement hash card - contacted MS and they are shipping them out, I just have to send the dead cards back to them.  The cards slide out after you undo the screws, it's quick and easy.  Additionally since the bulk of the machine is the case, controller, psu, heatsinks and fans, I think there is a strong possibility to upgrade them if someone were to make a hash board that could be slid into the machine.

I'm seeking a way to underclock the ram on a 5830 and 5830 at the command line in linux.

any ideas?
