Wenn Bitcoin nun auf $10000 steigt, denkt ihr dass es auch noch genug Interesse für Altcoins gibt, sodass ein Namecoin dann um die $130 wert wäre?

According to bitnodes.io there are around 6500 nodes. Why doesn't a millionaire or the government just buy 6000 IP addresses and setup 6000 nodes with a faked blockchain?

Would this give them the possibility of endless amount of Bitcoin and reversing transactions by spreading wrong blockchain data?

Hey, does anyone know how ip.bitcointalk.org knows if a specific image has been posted on bitcointalk.org?

Since putting random image urls to the proxy fails.

My NMCs do not show up in my NMC client after cold storage testing. Here is what I did:

1. Generated a new private key and wallet.dat on offline Linux machine.
2. Copied public key and sent 2 NMC to it for testing (Transaction: http://explorer.namecoin.info/a/NBdZyGwD6toy2ZA9Efcjhd3huRiCrFWKfX)
3. An hour later I've copied the wallet.dat from the offline machine to my online windows pc via USB.
4. The old wallet.dat has been deleted and replaced by the one generated on the offline computer.

So a couple of hours later the NMC wallet still does not show up the 2 NMC which are stored at this address. Even to the entire blockchain was downloaded and I can see the public key in the client.

Any idea why?

BTC almost reached $700 on mtgox. Do you think that I should spend my money now for bitcoins or rather wait till it drops below 300 again?

When will that be or do you think that it won't crash?
