4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Where should we sell our goods by accepting bitcoin easily and low-costly! on: October 04, 2011, 04:44:02 PM
I don't know why my post was deleted once, so I just repost it now. I was asking for recommendation of bitcoin C2C e-commerce service, like Ebay.

Yes, I posted in the market place sub forum, but it's cold there.

Please tell me, DO we have any serious, reliable, easy-to-go(for both learnt and new bitcoin users) bitcoin C2C e-commerce site I can use??

With such a convenient payment tool, it should be such a shame we don't have such a site to use!

I wanna sell some secondhand goods by accepting bitcoin, but I don't know which site is best I should choose. Please give me some suggestion.

I need to post some picture
I wanna paste some introduction
Escrow service
Wish it let the buyers pay bitcoin easily
collect the BTC fund\shipping address for me, and inform me by email if someone has paid
wish it upport Simple Chinese, but English only is also fine

I will promote the goods on BBS and twitter with together low price. So the user of the site is not really important, but it must be user-friendly in payment.

You must have tried the site yourself, I mean you have tried to done business on that site, not only have registered or viewed the site once a while.
5  Economy / Marketplace / Please recommend a bitcoin's ebay for me. on: October 04, 2011, 04:10:36 PM

and the title said that

"Made your own money and purchase some goods on taobao.com" (the ebay of China)
"Someone created bitcoin, exchanging with currencies around the world, some investors are waiting for the rally, and some Chinese people are mining it"

and there is a discussion wave about bitcoin on weibo.com, the twitter of China.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / why Freicoin won't work on: August 20, 2011, 05:13:33 PM
it's the same way of thinking as fiat money, which aims to stole the value of peoples who are saving the money.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I guess now it's time for us to start i1coin. on: August 17, 2011, 03:47:46 AM
since i0coin is already there.

You had lose the chance to be Satoshi

and then you lose the chance to be Nasakioto,

then you lose the chance to be the creator of i0coin,

Oh, shit

You've missed so much chance to be the first adopter of a currency system!

Now, don't hesitate, just start your own i1coin! right now!

if somebody already do that and you're not a fool, just start i2coin!

If you're even smarter, you might start i8coin or i9coin directly, and you can make sure that you're the first adopter of a currency sysytem !

Just do it.

11  Economy / Speculation / So I just follow my reasonable suggestion I give you and myself. on: August 03, 2011, 05:51:37 PM

If you have to trust some people, they must at least be willing to tell their real identity information.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / We should rename "miner" as "auditor". on: July 30, 2011, 03:42:21 AM
Maybe "miner" is bad name for the promotion of the bitcoin

People are questioning that what are you mining for? a string of numbers? And you get money from the thin air?

The "miners" are bookkeeping and verifying the bitcoin transactions. and the coins generated is the reward for their work. "Auditing" is kind of contribution that will make people believe that the miners are doing useful job. By metaphor in "mining", people will get confused.

I guess Satoshi use "mining" is to promote the bitcoin conception among the early adopters to get involved, but now we need get people trust that the coins spread to the miners are really worth it.
15  Economy / Speculation / I feel somehow that the rally is closer than 1 week before on: July 24, 2011, 12:29:24 PM
So I trade again, buy in a little.
What have you done in the last weekend?

16  Economy / Speculation / If I were a gambler who accept bitcoin. However, on: July 18, 2011, 06:11:29 PM
I can not find a NICE place to gamble. Don't tell me about betco.in or something, they're fantastic considering that they are just part-time job by some bitcoin enthusiasts. It cannot satisfy my need as gambler who used to played really nice online  gambling games. Of course, other games like bitcoin pyramid is totally a joke.

So, it's still the basic problem with bitcoin: so little product and service. Even gambling game.

However, Do you think the no-good-gambling-service will last long? No, I don't think it will last long. If you see a good gambling site accept bitcoin and the chip just priced in bitcoin but not USD, you can just buy in large amount of bitcoin before gamblers buying.
17  Economy / Speculation / Once I was saying that big holders were always prepared to slash the market on: July 17, 2011, 04:38:45 AM
but some idiot just did not understand what I mean, or so naive to believe that the big holders won't do this because some reasons. Some evil guys were scaring people that if you don't buy now you will miss the train forever.

Now just see the 6000 bitcoins which were sold in a flash. Every one knows that the USD inflow is weak in weekends, but the holder just chose to do this. It's his freedom, he want to cause panic for him buying back lower or he just want to cash out at this price and to prove that he is smart to leave at this price and everyone else is idiot, or the 13.5 bid wall and the big seller was just the same trader. who knows? but it's not smart for you to believe that he wouldn't do this. If some one follow my suggestion, they at least have the choice to buy at 13.5, 1$ lower than days ago.

So, if you still have USD prepared to invest in bitcoin, patience is still my suggestion. Just buy a little at first, then another trade at the other day when it crashes. Never all-in at a single trade.

And panic is not good for you right now. Panic is the method to keep us human being safe in the jungle at ancient age. It's not the method to protect us in modern financial market, but calmness, patience and insight into long-term. the market maybe even lower, but sell at this price is not a good choice, too. If you have bitcoins, just hold it. If you have USD, just hold it and buy in bitcoins with patience. never do panic buying and selling.

18  Economy / Speculation / I bought serveral bitcoin around 14, and had more USD hold on: July 13, 2011, 03:06:01 PM
A solid bottom need every doubter sell out there asset, no matter the asset is bitcoin or stock. The sign of the doubter-out is that the trading volume is extremely low.

The volume is pretty low today, but not low enough compared with some days months ago. Such kind of cold lonely boring market should be last longer, and hopefully more small crashes happen, which will consolidate the bottom of the next rally, and give patient traders nice price to open their long positions.

And some early adopters have large bitcoin hold in hand, I speculate that they already want to USD out a lot of them. I guess, these bitcoin must up to 10k -100k.  If the market is too excited and give them the chance to leave the game with high price, the buy power of the people or momentum will exhaust too soon, then I just won't participate in next rally move, and I will start to sold the bitcoins step by step. If this boring flat market is long enough, The big sellers will lost their patient and hope, and will possibly start to sell, at a low price, which is caused by themselves. In this case, the bottom of the market will be even stronger, when next rally begins, I will hold my bitcoin with firm hands.

If the market just start rally from now, I will speculate that lots of doubters still with bitcoins in hand, the rally just won't last long and high, so I will sell lots of (not all, of course) the bitcoin step by step.

---
Only speculative opinions.
I have both bitcoins and USD. Make decision by yourselves.

19  Economy / Speculation / Just keep it in mind that there is someone has more than 10k bitcoin on: July 11, 2011, 03:29:38 PM
He is always ready to give you a crash after your panic buying.
Keep money in hand and be patient, withdraw your open bid orders, to help the price fall, and you will get cheap coins.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Well I've told you not to push the price up on: July 11, 2011, 01:53:13 PM
3 hours ago, someone is even as excited as willing to buy beyond 15$.

Not all the doubters have sold their coins yet. If you push the price up beyond 15, you're only make yourselves in a dangerous situation. I suggest we remain the price at this low level for a while, and let the price crash several times, and make doubters sell all their coins around 10-12$. Then we can move on to the next phase of rally. So don't buy at too high price, and always reserve some money for picking up the cheap coins.
