1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Next few months are CRITICAL for Crypto Currencies on: December 17, 2013, 01:11:22 PM
In my opinion the next few months are slowly turning into a make or break time for Cyrpto. I don't think it will break completely...But it may collapse before doing a "Phoenix" and coming back in another form. Just looking at the BTC price slowly but surely sliding to lower lows and not making new highs seems to confirm that many people are converting back fo Fiat. I strongly believe Crypto will remain in some form or another but these times are not for Widows and Orphans to be investing in it. Said that a little is ok...who knows we may have another bonanza! $1000-$2000 seems a good risk reward level...but it all depends on your personal circumstances...I haven't got a Falcon and a Camel! I am steadily mining investing and trying to stay upto date with the Bitcoin Backdrop....it ain't easy but we are the pioneers of an exciting age... Remember 99% haven't even heard of Bitcoin.....Try and ask your friends and family what it is...you will be amazed at how ignorant people are. Comments always welcome....constructive ones..
2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Difficuly increase due in 2 hours.... Will kill a few miners off on: December 10, 2013, 10:23:06 AM
Well with the difficulty due to rise from 707.408.283 to an astounding 911.212.093 in the next two hours it will render many miners obsolete unless the BTC price tries to rise with it. We are approaching a crunch time... If it continues like this many small Mining rigs will have to fall off the network or run at a loss... In my opinion the only way forward is Hosted mining where you can tailor your Hashrate to what you require. Waiting for Butterfly Labs and Co to produce the hardware is proving risky and very upfront expensive...money sat in their bank accounts earning them money. Your thoughts are appreciated!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Using Yubikey and IPhone 5 fix on: December 08, 2013, 05:03:21 AM
I ordered a Yubikey to use on my MtGox account for my laptop. All works wonderful until I'm away from home and wanted to log in with my iPhone 5. I them had to buy an "on the go device". it first of all said not compatible with Yubikey 11.... Hmmm but it let me login! The trouble then was that when I tried to enter data the keyboard would not popup.. Rendering the Yubikey as useless. I however found a bypass to this problem.

1. Login with Yubikey
2. Switch off iPhone and then switch on again
3. Go back to open website where you just logged on and your keyboard is then visible to use and enter data
Prices etc.

Hope this helps someone with same problem.

On iPad 4 I get a non compatible message but it still works.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Convert Bitcoins into any currency on: November 24, 2013, 05:19:03 PM
From Afghan Afghani to Zambian Kwacha here you will find the current exchange rates linked to the Bitcoin. You can even see how much Gold Silver or Platinum you can cash in. Click here....Coinmill
Can't see Peercoin or Litecoin  though. I found it useful as you can see a vast amount of currencies on one screen.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Newbie to Forum..More of a Trader than a Miner now on: November 10, 2013, 06:12:34 AM
Hi all. I'm new to this forum but have been on the BTC bandwagon for a while. I like many have bought equipment...pre-ordered (upgraded...BFL)... tried my hand at most things. At present I'm running a USB erupter rig "Just for Fun" (Trying to make it look cable less and more of a work of art...Remember the Blob Lamps of the 70's..lol. It's as much use as one and gets just as hot!)..... I am however now more interested in BTC trading where I see the future. Trading pays for electricity and hardware! I would like to offer my experience in share charting to those interested in BTC trading. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL... Iv'e just been trading for many many years. So when I'm out of the Newbie Trap I will start a trading thread or join one already active. Blackswan122
