So I bought one on eBay and now I'm second guessing myself because the seller seems to have a suspiciously large supply. If you search for completed items, you will see they have apparently sold over 30 copies, going back to October of last year. It just seems weird that someone would have 30 copies to sell. Not sure how hard it would be to counterfeit a magazine though. The sell has been registered on eBay since 2003 and has other books/ magazines for sale and a 100 percent positive feedback rating. I did message the seller after I purchased and asked how they came to own so many copies and the response was they aquired them when the magazine was first launched and are selling them due to financial issues. Any way to know if my copy is legit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/XMAS-SALE-fast-ship-Bitcoin-Magazine-1st-Issue-Brand-New-UNOPENED-casascius-BTC/184588520293?hash=item2afa554b65:g:MBwAAOSwQLZdtG1e

I have an old multibit.key file that I'm trying to import into Electrum. The text file has +'s and ='s, which I understand means it was encrypted by Multibit, thus I cannot just import it into Electrum without unencrypting it first. How can I do that? I understand that if I download Multibit Classic, I can use that, but I can't find it anywhere reliable. Can it be downloaded here? https://github.com/Multibit-Legacy/multibit If so, how do I download it for Windows? Alternatively, is there a way to unencrypt it without using Multibit Classic? Thanks.

If I sell a physical good on here, and the buyer pays in BTC, is there anything I need to look out for? I assume that as long as I wait to ship until I receive the payment, I am fine.

I need some cash and I was thinking about selling one of my Casascius coins... Just wondering with the current BTC market is. I've been MIA on here for a while. Here's a picture:

Multibit is no longer supported. I cannot change the tx fees, and the standard fees are way too low, given the current state of the network. Is there another software or online wallet I can use to import my private key and send from that wallet? I tried to send a few days ago, but it's not showing up on either blockchain.info or blockexplorer.com. It is only showing up in my Multibit wallet.
Also, since there is a pending, unconfirmed transaction from my Multibit wallet, will that screw anything up if I import my key to another wallet while that is still pending?

Since NiceHash got hacked, I'm looking for a similar pool where I can use my GPUs to mine altcoins and get paid in BTC. Zpool seems to be a good fit, but I can't figure out how to mine. Specifically, I don't know what mining software to use.

I have two Rx470s that I've been using to mine on NiceHash. I've been getting about $150 in BTC per month... not huge, but profitable. Nicehash is now down due to the hack and I seriously doubt they'll be back. Any suggestion similar pools? I'm looking for something that will auto-switch alt-coins and pay out in BTC.
Thanks.

Where do you guys store yours? I just moved mine to a safe deposit box, but I learned that they're not FDIC insured. Also, when I signed up, the bank made me sign a contract basically saying they have no liability for anything. I'm not so much concerned about a bank robber, since they probably won't have the time to rip open boxes, especially when there may only be wills, deeds, and shit, but I am worried about a rouge bank employee.
I guess it comes down to whether they are safer at your house, or in a bank.

I have two Bitcoin Bowl Coins that I'm looking to sell. Images are here: Coin 1, Front: Coin 1, Back: Coin 2, Front: Coin 2, Back: They're not graded, but they are in the original packaging and I've never taken them out or handled them. I'm asking 0.4 BTC each. New Price: 0.2 BTC each or 0.35 BTC for both. I'll do escrow if buyer pays and we can agree on who to use. Shipping will be calculated based upon the shipping location and paid by the buyer. Continental US buyers only.

Back when I was mining bitcoin, I used Eligius. I've gone through one of my old addresses, and I found several unconfirmed transactions. I only ever mined with Eligius and CEX.io, but I think this was from when I was mining with Eligius. So this payment would have been a payout from mining, which is why I'm confused that it's referenced as a "double spend." How can you double spend newly generated coins? Here's the transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/2b8aa01242c3204d52e65a86e4ab2d8c963d4cb4b07ae00a9da74e5f0112fea4I'm totally confused. Can anyone explain why these transactions are still unconfirmed? Am I out those amounts or is there anything I can do? Thanks.

I have a meager 44 mh/s rig that I've been mining ETH with. The difficulty has really gone up lately and now I'm looking for an altcoin mining pool that mines the most profitable coins, and then automatically converts and pays out in BTC. Thanks.

What can I do to speed these things up? I have two PowerColor 4GB Rx480 Red Dragons installed on an H97 ASRocks MB. Each is getting between 21 and 22 mh/s. I've tried changing the memory settings in WattMan to set "Memory" speed to 2020. I'm mining ETH using Claymore. Any tips? I've read these should be able to get 25-28 mh/s each.

I have three Antminer S3s hashing away at ghash.io. They have consistently been preforming at about 1.35 Th/s. My payout at that hashrate should be about 0.01714295 btc per day according to: https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculatorMy actual payments are much less though. According to blockchain.info, I had a payout of 0.01094646 at 13:50:56 on 2014-11-04. Then, a little more than 24 hours later at 14:08:48 on 2014-11-05, I had another payout of 0.01363418. That's substantially less than what I should be earning, correct? Any idea what's going on? My other payouts over the past few days are consistent with this, but at the old difficulty level. Thanks.

I ordered a few S3s from Bitmain and they shipped them nice and quick, with a delivery estimate of Friday. I checked this morning and the delivery estimate is gone and the message says:
The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.
It hasn't moved all day and now Friday is looking unlikely. Has anyone else had this issue? How long does it take to clear customs?
