Economy / Computer hardware / Bitworks 8 GPU 4U rack mount mining rig - 235Mh/s ETH
|
on: November 23, 2016, 01:43:49 AM
|
Updated with current specs, always pushing the limits like most of us... I've been manufacturing an 8 GPU rig for a few months now, as a follow-on to 4 and 6 GPU open frame rigs I've been making for a few years... Initially this unit used Radeon 380s and now Radeon 470/480s. Some may have seen it listed on ebay, I sell some there but it's primarily for the exposure, most units are sold direct to large farm operators who are running 50+ units at a time. I do sell to individual miners as well and have been doing that for some time, posting this to share some details on the system and make it available via the forums. The units run a fully custom Linux load, or a customized version of ethOS depending on the end users coin, they can mine most anything as with any GPU rig, given how many GPUs are in the system I sometimes need to customize the miner or it's launcher so it runs properly. Web based configuration provided, no need to SSH into the system to change wallet/pool, or other common settings. Most miners are shipped pre-configured at the request of the customer so they are plug and play. Prices start at $3600 USD + shipping for single systems and go down under $3,000 as the quantity goes up. Payment via cashiers check, wire transfer, BTC, ETH, Credit Card via Paypal (verified billing/shipping address) all supported. Systems are manufactured and shipped from the east coast of the US, worldwide shipping available. Turn around time before shipping averages 5 business days, however, a number of large orders have been recently placed so please reach out to confirm lead time. ETH: 235Mh/s ~1160W, ~1260W when dual mining ZEC: 2100H/s ~1160W XMR: 6400H/s ~950W These shots are from my 380 unit, 470 unit almost identical minus change in cards, use of EVGA G2 1300, and some strengthening of the chassis in my latest model revision to better handle shipping...

Economy / Computer hardware / Beaglebone Black (Jupiter Controller) KNC Titan Firmware & Build Instructions
|
on: November 13, 2016, 12:25:38 AM
|
I worked on this firmware a few months ago and got it working, leveraging much of the experience I picked up building the original padrino firmware for the Jupiters. I ended up setting it aside as other projects started coming up..
in short this allows the KNC Jupiter Controllers (Beaglebone Black) to run KNC Titans, it also supports all variations of the KNC Jupiters as well, not at the same time due to how the FPGA controls the cubes, however you can boot with all KNC Jupiter (November/October), KNC Neptune, or all KNC Titan cubes without issue.
Since I am not going to have time to offer this to the community directly I am listing the firmware with source and build instructions, it has not been released anywhere else so the buyer(s) can do with it what they like, release it, or spin it into a paid offering like GenTarkin.
Given the value of the RPi bridge boards this looks to have some real value to the right audience..
Asking 6 BTC, my reputation on the forums is solid, however escrow is supported but only through a well respected and trusted agent that will verify the code themselves to ensure functionality before release.
The following is included:
- Working unified firmware and source for all KNC SHA/Scrypt miners for the Beaglebone - 1 KNC Titan Cube - 1 KNC Neptune Cube - 8 KNC Beaglebone Controllers - Can make all Titan controllers, or whatever other KNC hardware. - ~25 KNC November/October Jupiter Boards, no heatsinks (your call if you want them)

Posting some things I don't have any need for currently.. Payment in BTC/ETH or Paypal (for trusted members), all items shipping from the US, will ship internationally. Shipping is actual cost, generally FedEx Ground/Hoe Delivery or USPS is least expensive depending on location. (It's been asked a bunch of times, Yes they run 6 GPU just like the H81 BTC Pro) 63 - ASRock H97 Anniversary Motherboards - $75 USD each... All used for approximately one month before being pulled as I standardized all farm systems on the H81 Pro BTC. They do not come with the original box or manual/faceplate, they will be packaged in an ASRock H81 BTC Pro box for shipping purposes.NIB Sapphire RX 480 8GB $235 & 4GB Card $225 USD 3 - XFX RX 480 4GB Reference Cards (they are launch reference cards, should be capable of a flash to 8GB but I have not verified) - $225 USD & 1 XFX RX 480 DD Card $210 - Used for 8 hours of testing

Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 5 KNC November Jupiter Boards - For Parts
|
on: October 04, 2015, 11:20:55 PM
|
I have 5 boards left over from my days of running Jupiters and producing the padrino firmware for them (100+ boards in total).. I do not know if they are working or not, they were tucked away in a parts box and I do not have a controller to test them with.. I know at least one needs work, as you can see in the picture with the connector.. In any case I'm thinking $20 + shipping for all of them... I snapped pictures of each board..
