1  Economy / Services / $10 for simple apit integration on: August 07, 2015, 07:15:30 PM
Hello,

I'm paying $10 for a very simple programming task. All I need is for you to send me the source code (preferably in java) of authorizing with an authorized method from the Cryptsy api. If you want I can send you my source code that doesn't work, and it seems their own python api does not work.

I'd like this done as soon as possible.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Cryptsy API help on: August 04, 2015, 08:59:03 PM
Hey guys,

I'm trying to use the Cryptsy API and everything seems to be working except for the methods that require authentication...

Here is my current code: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/8c128bdab19b44eec2f7

Yet everytime I receive this response: {"success":false,"error":["Must be authenticated"]}

Can someone please help me, I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Error while downloading block chain on: March 03, 2013, 03:01:19 AM
Hello I updated to 0.8 and opened Bitcoin, and the blockchain started downloading (It would not download before this update, even with the bootstrap so thanks for the update Cheesy)

I am now in the last 5k blocks and I keep getting this error it seems every 50-100:

What do I do and what is causing this error?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Cannot get blocks by downloading or bootstrap on: February 13, 2013, 12:43:36 AM
Hello I have recently saw the prince increase in Mtgox and I decide I will sell my 3 bitcoins since they have been sitting around and I probably won't make much profit mining anymore. However, I have run into quite a dilemma.

At first I opened Bitcoin to synchronize the blocks, but the application eventually froze my entire system and so I had to reboot. When I rebooted, the block chain was corrupted or something of the sorts so I deleted it. I then proceeded to leave my Bitcoin client running all of the night (last night) in order to download the blocks. When I came home from school today I found that not a single block was downloaded, even though there was an internet connection the whole time (I do not know if it was up 100% of the time but our internet is fairly reliable and my dad would have mentioned the internet going out at night).

I then googled around and found out about the bootstrap, so I decided to download it. I then attempted using it 3 times:

1st I just put it in and delete my blockchain files, the client starts up after about 10 minutes at the splash screen saying it is loading the bootstrap and no blocks are loaded (0%)
2nd I deleted the entire folder besides my wallet and configuration file and when the client comes up, no blocks were loaded.
3rd I deleted the entire folder besides my wallet and configuration file again and ran as administrator. As you can guess, same result as before (0%)

Could someone please assist me and tell me why I cannot get the blocks downloaded? I'm a little irritated since I have 95% of the blocks before and now I cannot even get to .1%

I'd like to try avoiding using a lightweight client (I can't even transfer my bitcoins since I don't have the blockchain, right?) but if need be I'll switch

Also, should I try downloading the 0.8 RC?
8  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Add new address (private key) easily on: August 17, 2012, 01:33:24 AM
Source is in OP please stop asking
Hello after using Vanitygen (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0) for the first time I realized that it could be fairly hard for users to import their newly found address, and I'll admit I had some troubles myself. So I decided why not create a program to make it easier for users?

Following features:
- Import private key
- Add a label to it from the program

Requirements:
- Windows with .Net 3.5 installed (Tested on Windows 7)
- Bitcoin client running with bitcoin.conf already configured.

Please not that when you import your new key you will notice that Bitcoin may freeze for a minute or two, this is normal.

If you feel I deserve a donation please donate here: 1TydiD57N9m54SrX7XNWhNTzJLN4msJNj

If I feel enough users use my program I will try to update it with bulk adding, a better gui and other requests.

Last of all, PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK Smiley
