1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / REWARD: Building QT on windows on: January 06, 2014, 02:05:14 PM
I am trying to build the LiteCoin (or any other scrypt) QT on windows and am stumped.
I can build Bitcoin-QT  and it works fine.
When I try to build the other coin, I the following error:

Code:
src/util.h: At global scope:
src/util.h:555:16: error: conflicting declaration 'typedef void* pthread_t'
 typedef HANDLE pthread_t;

I have tried QT 4.8.5, 5.2 but the same issue on with Both.

I am offering .2 BTC REWARD to resolve this issue and build the QT wallet of LTC on windows 7.

Anyone?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / AMD 290 issues with more than 1 Card on: December 22, 2013, 12:23:07 AM
Am having an issue when connecting more than 1 AM 290 card.
Its a Sapphire 290. Both cards are exactly alike.
I am using CGminer 3.7.2 with -I 18.

8 gig of memory
120 gig SSD
Windows 7 fully patched
Two power supplies .
950 Watt to Card 1 and MotherBoard (ASRock Z87) it has slot for 5 cards.
950 Watt to Card 2.
each card is inserted into the PCIE slot no riser.

each card works fine by itself and gets around 730 Kh/s.

when I connect the second card, and start CGminer, it runs for about 5 sec and then crash.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

5  Other / Beginners & Help / New Miner with Blades on: November 17, 2013, 10:02:45 PM
Hello all,

Am new to the BTC world and after doing some research, thanks to these boards, was able to get my Blades, 5, up and running.
The 5 boards are running at 10.40-10.50 Gh/s.
I would like to OC these boards and I have read on the forums it is possible.
Trying to get a hold of sidehack and need to be able to PM him to buy his kit; hence, this post.

Thanks you for reading.
