22  Economy / Gambling / BTCInvest is a SCAM run by TheGambler, a known SCAMMER on: April 25, 2014, 06:39:35 PM
The newbie "BTCinvest" and his HYIP SCAM scheme is none other than "TheGambler" who is a known scammer. Here is his profile:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=152722

Here is the first thread by "BTCinvest", where I called it out as a scam and suggested if legit send 10 BTC to a legit escrow.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=584522.msg6394772#msg6394772

This user DID EXACTLY what TheGambler did when he scammed, he moved his topic to a local thread where NO ONE would see it. TheGambler guaranteed returns from dicing, an always -EV proposition and ran with ~1 BTC in peoples' monies. Ironically, the Gambler commented on BTCInvest's post and said "oh I'll def join this (here is his post on that topic which was unmoderated and BTCInvest locked and moved to local section):

"I'm reading through your site and no doubt it looks intriguing...
I might give the 1 week a shot with about .5BTC and see how I go maybe later tomorrow. I've seen your loans on bitbond so I already know your trust worthy there but hopefully you can prove the same here and with your site."

I am 99% sure, that BTCinvest is none other then the scammer "TheGambler". For one, whoever BTCinvest is, he guarantees returns that are impossible to occur even through arbitrage trading. A daily return of 35% is impossible, if possible we'd all be millionaires and inflation would be through the roof.

AVOID THEGAMBLER AND BTCINVEST.
23  Economy / Currency exchange / [Filled] Buying $1095 worth of Bitcoin on: April 25, 2014, 01:59:47 PM
Have $1095 in cash. Can pay via any US based option, preferred would be cash bank deposit. Escrow is fine and gladly accepted.

Paying bitstamp last rate. Doesn't matter if price is $5 or $5000 later today, still buying at that rate.

Let me know if interested, please check my feedback to see I am a bulk buyer and have never had an issue with buying or selling.
24  Economy / Currency exchange / Selling BTC for $500-$750 moneypak on: April 22, 2014, 04:08:06 PM
Paying 80% of face value. Any moneypak from $500 to $750 works.

Escrow is fine. Scammers don't try, if escrow is used, escrow will add the code himself to prevent you claiming I used your code when I didn't if it's a bad/fake code.
25  Economy / Scam Accusations / In response to MGK's air accusation that I chargeback / scam on: April 15, 2014, 06:13:51 PM
You claim I steal bitcoin and make chargebacks when capable to. Provide me evidence through the numerous cash deposits I have made for Dbanga85, the numerous moneypaks I have bought for users including Immunizikation and others, and have sent moneygram payments after receiving BTC.

PLEASE do provide me evidence that when capable I have chargedback payments. All of the above payments I could have scammed; could have gone back to the bank teller and said deposit was wrong (look at LBC theres scams all over the place there), when accepting moneypaks could have easily said code was wrong when it wasnt (heres link to LBC where all I do is buy moneypaks:https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/alabamafan1/), for moneypaks bought I could easily call in and dispute it, I was scammed once for $500 when first being a newbie on here and successfully got my money back for it, why not call in and dispute every moneypak I buy?

Moneygram, I have done a couple payments and have always received payment first. None of them have complained.

There was a guy (I'd have to find the thread) that had me pay $1500 in bills that he owed for the DMV, he paid me $2000 in BTC upfront before any payment was made.

So yeah, your accusations are air. I don't chargeback when capable and I don't scam. All you have is that you think I'm kingofsports or whoever the latest alt that people are accusing me of being.

So yeah, you aren't trustworthy you make air acccusations with no serious evidence.
26  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitsimple Processing Time? Going to be using it this week. on: April 14, 2014, 03:01:18 AM
Buying a couple thousand worth of BTC and was wondering, how long does it take to receive the bitcoins purchased? If I made the wire around 11am, when should I expect to receive the bitcoins?

Any past experiences would be greatly appreciated if shared below.

29  Other / Off-topic / 0.095 sent to me by mistake, sign for it and its yours. on: April 11, 2014, 01:38:38 PM
Received 0.095 BTC in a wallet I own that I have no idea where it came from or why.

I have a feeling it was by accident or something.

If you sent 0.095 by accident and your address is:

15rBsF8ddixfUJw3FTheLsKcjhxvtrfkip

then sign me a message confirming you own the address and I'll send it back to you.
30  Economy / Currency exchange / Futures Contract on: April 10, 2014, 07:51:52 PM
As I have mentioned before I am looking for a seller I can buy from whenever I need to, during the week. I am in need of BTC weekly.

Thus I have thought of a method, as many sellers don't want to sell when price goes down and when price goes up people don't want to buy as much.

I am offering this:

5 BTC purchase per week contract or $2500 per week contract, can be legally binding contract and have car as collateral should I fail to make the weekly payment in a timely manner. If you are not trusted I will require some form of collateral held by a trusted escrow here. Should I default on a payment, I have 30 days to make the rest of the payment(s).

I sell BTC for profit so there is no way I default on this. Current cash in hand is near around $3700. If I do, car would be sold or a loan taken out on the car to pay you back.

I am also fine with depositing a certain amount of cash to one's bank account BEFORE the week begins if you are trustworthy.

The futures contract price would be carried out on a specified time, preferably Monday or Friday.

Should one create a contract for BTC I would put in a contingency that there would be a min and max I would pay per BTC. For example:

Contract is canceled should BTC fall below $150 or go above $700. The amount BTC would go higher would be higher than the cancel cost for going too low, this benefits you.

If you are interested in this let me know. I am offering Bitstamp +1% at the time of the contract price being initiated each week.

Contracts would be weekly and the full contract would be a period of 1 month, renewable if both parties wish at the end of the term.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Need Bitcoin Buying assistance/advice, Please help. on: April 10, 2014, 04:13:27 AM
Here is the situation:

I need $2000-$3000 worth of BTC every week. I sell this BTC for a profit. My issue is I am very BEARISH toward bitcoin prices currently so thus I don't hold bitcoin long and don't believe in paying more than coinbase +1% which is what I can pay coinbase anytime.

Here is my problem:

I don't want to use coinbase because when I acquire BTC I simply sell it to exchanges and then convert back when I have someone buying from me. The problem with coinbase is over the course of 5 days the exchange price can and has dropped 10% or more killing my profits and thus putting me in the red for the week overall even after sales. I'd rather take the risk of market movement out of the whole process for 5 days waiting period.

I make about 10% margins on my trades and do not want to lower that, 10% is the lowest I will go for the amount of time I spend with it all. I feel like the amount I move is too small to send to an exchange. If I send to an exchange I'm looking at huge wire fees.

I'm really stuck on what I should do or how I can continue to buy BTC at market rate. I know coinbase in the past when they reach their max buy limit for the day, they would let people buy but base the exchange rate on whatever the rate is come 5 days from the purchase being initiated. This is what I would prefer honestly.

Any advice here would greatly be appreciated as I am stuck and as the exchange rate continues to fall, less and less of my weekly vendors are willing to sell for market price. I wish this damn currency would just be stable.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone can do simple arbitrage currently, question is who is taking advantage? on: April 08, 2014, 07:36:06 PM
Noticed that BTC-e and bitstamp have been going back and forth with one another. For a long time BTC-e was always a little bit below bitstamp but this has not been the case lately. Saw BTC-e above bitstamp by almost $10 yesterday at one point.

Curious to know, anyone here been doing well with the simple USD/BTC arb opportunity? If so, what has been your relative profits so far and success?

Curious to know the relative weekly return people have been making lately with it.

NOTE: Do not tell me about ponzis that claim they do arbitration such as bitcoin trader or BTC-arbs. Already know about them and not interested.
33  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking for BTC or BTC-e USD codes; $2600, Escrow Accepted on: April 06, 2014, 05:10:07 PM

34  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] $850 in BTC; Escrow with DannyHamilton or Escrow.ms on: April 05, 2014, 05:41:18 PM
Buying $850 of BTC at bitstamp price. Can pay with moneypak, reloadit, BOA online wire, or TD Bank Deposit (for next 60 minutes). Let me know if any of these payment methods suit you and we'll get this trade done.

Willing to send first to any reputable members, fine with escrow using Escrow.ms or DannyHamilton.

Self-moderating thread to remove any posts not regarding the trade at hand. Such as "you're this person and an alt" when I'm not. Like I said, ESCROW is more than accepted and fine. Will never say no to using it.

36  Economy / Service Discussion / Sent coinbase a warning email about their "scam" practices on: April 01, 2014, 03:56:17 AM
Made a purchase of a little over 3 coins BTC two hours ago totaling around $1500. I sent them a message with a screenshot attached of my bank account showing the money is there and all. I timestamped it and everything. I sent them an email regarding their shady practices of canceling orders after the exchange rate has drastically increased.

If the exchange rate rises significantly and they canceled my order, I will be suing them for the difference in price at the same time I purchased the bitcoin come friday evening. Talked briefly with my lawyer about other things today and mentioned this as I realized none of my main vendors are willing to sell right now so coinbase is my only option. Lawyer told me it would be an easy case and also one that could win me some damages for fraud too.

If it happens and you had this happen to you in the past, we could file as a class-action lawsuit however that would be very costly. I for one am not very much interested in the price difference should it occur, I just want to publicly have them found guilty for their fraudalent practices should they try to scam me.

Let me know what you guys think.
37  Economy / Goods / Looking to buy funded/graded casascius coin or coin wallet on: March 31, 2014, 06:40:41 AM
Make offers and post pictures please. Not looking for very expensive coin, at most a coin with 1 BTC loaded in it...mainly looking for a way that I can send BTC to the coin for long term investment and not be able to open the coin's wallet in a panic sell situation due to the grading...  Wink

Also, as I am waiting on some important PMs from BTC bulk sellers, please do not PM me regarding this coin ad. Just post a comment for time being please.

Oh and if you're interested in selling $500+ of BTC at bitstamp prices FOR CASH at anytime, please let me know. Buying thousands weekly!
38  Economy / Currency exchange / Buying $500 Moneypaks / Vanilla reloads / Reloadits weekly on: March 27, 2014, 06:31:25 PM
Buying $500 moneypaks for 78% face value. Rate is bitstamp last price. Buying up to 5 x $500 per week.

Buying $500 vanilla reloads for 78% face value. Rate is bitstamp last price. Buying up to 1 x $500 per week.

Buying $500-$900 reloadit for 82% face value. Rate is bitstamp last price. Buying up 1 x $500-$900 per week.

See availability / needs specified area below for specifics of what packs I still need for the week currently. Updated daily.

To be clear, I am selling my Bitcoins for your $500 moneypaks / vanilla reloads / reloadits. I am paying 81% of the face value of your packs in Bitcoin. I am not buying BTC in this thread. HOWEVER, if you are able to sell Bitcoins (1+) on a weekly basis at bitstamp prices or less, please contact me via PM.

Due to the nature of the reload packs mentioned above and the fact that some are products of a scammer or stolen funds, I require 30 minutes after successful load of debit card to withdraw funds at a local ATM. After which, the BTC will be released to you.

Do you accept escrow?
I have a good reputation here if you look at my trust page. However, I will accept using escrow through DannyHamilton. A 1% tip will be taken out of your BTC purchased and paid to him as a tip. Since reload packs (the 3 above) are hard for escrows to arbitrate should something go wrong, I will require you to send the code to Danny directly and he will load the reload pack to my debit card. Obviously if the funds are not on the reload pack he will know it himself and there will be no dispute of who used the funds.

Any other questions feel free to let me know. I have made a post on Localbitcoins for this as well. PM or comment if interested. Thanks!
