1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Crypto Battle - Need Your Feedback on: August 17, 2014, 11:13:17 AM
Hey guys,
recently I got an idea of mine realised:

What do you think about the image?

What would be a cool text below the battle? (Worthy Rivals, Game on, Choose a Side, Time for Plan B - is one I liked online, but maybe it's not right for this one)

We plan on making T-shirts with this image so any ideas/criticism are more than welcome.

This is what the T-shirt should look like with screen printing:

Thanks for your time!

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / x1 slot detects card but Black Screen(linux) - 1 LTC on: March 04, 2014, 07:53:28 PM
Hello,
been trying to put a card on a x1 slot with x1-x16 riser but I get a black screen despite being detected (see through ssh).

Setup:
Asrock z77 Extreme 3
intel celeron
4 280x XFX TDFD
2 GB DDR 1600Mhz
Fortron Aurum Gold 1000w
usb 2.0 Xubuntu 12.10
Catalyst version 12.10
the date from
dmesg | grep fglrx
gives me  [Nov 22 2013]  so it should be 12.10
cgminer 3.7.2

Cards are undervolted.

Tried a different riser powered/non-powered. Same thing.
3 cards work on the 3 x16 slots (with risers) but when I put one of them on the x1
it's a black screen.

There is a black screen but I can still connect with ssh and see that it actually detects the card.

when I try to start VNC (x11vnc) it says:
Quote
XOpenDisplay failed. No -display or DISPLAY.

fglrxinfo
Quote
Error: unable to open display (null)

Followed the instructions here:
http://gentoovps.net/add-a-new-card-to-cgminer/
but still no improvement.

lspci | grep -i vga

07:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Tahiti XT [Radeon HD 7970]
detects all 3 cards. If it detects the card I don't need pin shorting, do I?

4  Other / Beginners & Help / MISSing BITcoins not returning in wallet after 9 days. on: January 06, 2014, 05:53:05 PM
Hello Guys,
I made a transfer from my wallet to bitstamp with 0.2 bitcoins on the 27th of Dec. Today it's the 6th of Jan.
Unfortunatelly I haven't seen them neither in bitstamp nor to the wallet.
I can see a white rectangle as the status of the transaction. (multibit 0.5.15)

This is the raw data of the transaction:
Quote
 <numbers&chars>: Seen by 1 peer. Pending/unconfirmed.
     from <my-wallet-address> / <numbers&chars>:809
     from <my-wallet-address> / <numbers&chars>:838
       to <bitstamp-adress> 0.2 BTC
       to <my adress> 0.12900402 BTC

I don't know if it's ok to post it with the original data (regarding security).

When I click on blockchain.info I get:
Quote
Transaction not found

As a grand finale I can see my balance as 0.5017775
but it says: Spendable: 0.37277348
When you subscract them you get: 0.129004
Which is the exact additional number in the RAW DATA.

So not only I have missing funds but as if the system is using additional blocked funds as a security or something.

If anyone could help I'd be very grateful and will make a donation.

Thanks

p.s. - I had a missing incoming transaction to my wallet on Jan 2. I reseted the blockchain and transactions and it appeared. but the 0.2BTC transaction didn't get fixed.

Hello,
mining scrypt (is scrypt for another forum?)

xubuntu 12.10
cgminer 3.7.2
2x r9 290 sapphire
./cgminer --scrypt --intensity 20 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 32765 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-threads 1 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-fan 85,75 -D -T --verbose

with -T -D --verbose I get this while mining.
