1  Economy / Service Discussion / Mt.Gox USD to SEPA withdrawal possible? on: August 14, 2013, 07:30:16 AM
Now that the latest news is that SEPA withdrawals on Mt.Gox should actually take less time (even if still too long) than USD withdrawals, does anyone know if it is possible to withdraw USD funds from Mt.Gox as SEPA transfers?

Or does one have to "convert" to EUR first by having to buy BTC with USD, and then sell the BTC for EUR, and then withdraw the EUR funds as SEPA?

Has anyone actually tried/done this?

thanks!
2  Bitcoin / Mining / 6970: raising power limit in linux? on: June 11, 2011, 08:15:04 PM
I got two asus 6970 running in ubuntu 11.04 x64.

phoenix and hashkill both work fine at stock clock (880).

however, as soon as I go above 895 the hashrate goes up for a fraction of a second and then drops about 50%, which is due to power throttling I'm guessing. Temperatures are fine, ~75C with fans at 70%.

any idea what commands can be used to raise the power limit and increase clocks/hashrate of the 6970 in linux?

thanks.
3  Bitcoin / Mining / Problem with additional GPUs in Ubuntu? on: June 07, 2011, 12:21:19 PM
I set up Ubuntu x64 with the 2.4 SDK successfully following this guide:

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=9239.0;all

It's working just fine with one 5850. Now I added a second 5850 and the system doesn't seem to be able to access it:

Code:
aticonfig --odgt --adapter=all

Adapter 0 - ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
            Sensor 0: Temperature - 50.00 C
ERROR - Get temperature failed for Adapter 1 - ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series

same thing happens with miners, they simply work with gpu0 but not with gpu1 (or both).

Do I need some additional configuration for the additional gpu?

thanks.
