I’ve got a few Baikal Giant B’s mining library. They are normally profiting about $2 a day each. However all of a sudden today the profitability jumped up to about $20+ a day. Anyone know why? Would be nice if it lasts but I’m guessing it won’t.
So I was flashing the bios on an RX 580 using amdvbflash and the flashing “failed” saying something like “could not read bios...” or something to that effect. I had saved a copy of the stock bios, however shortly after the failure Windows crashed and I’ve been stuck in a Windows restart loop trying to do the startup repair, etc. but I can’t remember the admin password for the computer so not much I can do. Talk about bad luck / timing.
Anyway, assuming I can’t restore this computer is there anything I can do with this GPU to restore / repair it?
Just picked up an Asus GTX 1080, thought I would be able to get 40+ MH/s mining Ethereum, however can only seem to get about 26. Core is set to +99, Memory is set to +950. Thoughts?
I’m mining ETH with a 6 card RX 5700 rig (non XT). Below is how I have the rig overclocked in SimpleMining (I’m using the Phoenix miner). Any thoughts on tweaks I can / should make?
I have been mining ETH with a 6 card (RX 580 / RX 570 4 GB) rig using Pheonix miner on SimpleMining, I have been averaging about 30 MH/s for each card. I noticed on December 11th, the rashrate dropped to about 22 MH/s so I rebooted the rig. After the reboot, the average is only about 3 MH/s. I have tried adjusting the overclock settings and nothing seems to work. Any ideas what happened and how I can get back to a decent hashrate?
