1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Antminer D3 on the bitmain website. What's up with the numbers? on: July 18, 2017, 10:35:10 PM

Am I missing something, what is this?
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Swapping Blades on S9 miners on: July 11, 2017, 09:41:14 PM

I have two s9 miners.  One has socket connection fail, connection refused issues and the other one's blades are slowly dying.  Had a power failure and the middle blade died, and now the next blade is starting to go.  They are batch 13 and batch 20.  Can I take the blades from one and stick them in the other with no problems.  The batch 20 machine is the one having the socket connection fail issues.

Thanks in advance.

3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer S7 is mining but not showing up on the pool on: February 09, 2017, 03:22:46 PM
I noticed a drop in my miners at the pool(Slush).  Went to go check the miner, everything seems fine.  Went to see if the miner was connected to the router, it wasn't.  Did something just die on me?

4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Have to send Antminer S9 away for warranty work... on: January 26, 2017, 06:33:33 PM
What has been people's experience with this process?  Has anyone just sent their machine to Colorado?  Who did you send it through, UPS, USPS, FEDEX?  How much was shipping?  Thanks in advance for your response.  I'm going to get it out this weekend.
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / Converting a 50 amp 240V line for mining questions on: November 19, 2015, 01:29:36 PM
Good Morning,

I have an electric dryer line that I don't use.  It currently has a 50 Amp breaker on it.  I know I can rewire the breaker to an outlet, but should I replace the 50 amp breaker with a smaller breaker?  I have a 20 A Tripplite PDU.  Thanks in advance.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain warranty service experience on: June 27, 2015, 07:30:53 PM
I'm submitting this post to find out what people's experience has been with service of their S5.  They have had mine since May 19.  My email chain is long and I'm now going to start putting this out there.  Please share your experience so i know that i'm not the only way.

Thank you in advance
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Is there a Blockchain or Blocktrail for dummies? on: September 22, 2014, 06:35:03 PM
I want to understand the flow transaction.

When I input a bitcoin address into the website, the page has transactions coming in and going out.  I recognize the transaction coming(mining operation), but I don't recognize the outgoing transaction.....

I'm just curious if there is a version for dummies.

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / What are you doing with your older Antminer S1s? on: August 10, 2014, 03:29:49 AM
Just curious.  I'm in the process of swapping out S1s for S3s.  I plan on under clocking the S1s as I take them "offline", then stick them on ebay.

What are you, or have you all done with yours?
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Corsair HX750 running 3 Antminer Blades = 1.5 S1s on: March 22, 2014, 02:48:53 AM
I'm curious if I could run 3 blades or 1.5 S1s off of this PSU.  Push comes to shove I will just get another PSU big enough to power 2 S1s.  Curious about your thoughts on this, and could it be done with cause for concern.  If my numbers are right, that would be around 600 to 650 W from the 3 blades.
10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Asic Mining and Internet speeds on: January 27, 2014, 04:09:56 PM
Good Morning,

I am currently mining around 590G out of my house.  I am using ATT Uverse as my internet provider.  Does anyone else have connection issues to different website?  Is their something that can be done?  For instance, some websites work and others don't.  Some of the websites I go to partially come up.  Is my mining affecting my internet connection and websites that I visit?

Thanks in advance.
11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Multiple miner, multiple pools on: January 20, 2014, 11:42:18 AM

I was just curious.  Does anyone have multiple miners and multiple pools?  Reason why I asked, my back up pool is about double the size of my primary pool.  So of course my backup pool finds more blocks than my primary pool.  I'm getting another miner, and curious about placing my back up pool as my primary on this miner.  What are your thoughts?  Thanks.
12  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Corsair PSU - 650 Watt on: January 11, 2014, 07:11:56 PM
I'm looking for PSU, and I'm pretty much convinced I'm going with Corsair.  I have a question about the 2 different model lines.  You have a RM and CS line.  Between the two, which one is better.  Granted it's only a $10 difference.  I'm just curious is their anything else?  Thanks in advance.
13  Bitcoin / Mining / Has anyone relocated their miners due to cold weather? on: January 06, 2014, 01:58:06 PM
For instance, my garage is a good 30 degrees.  I don't have one yet, but would it be smart to put it in the garage?

14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Upgraded Jalapeņo Cube on: January 02, 2014, 02:31:18 PM
Good Morning,

Is there a way to over clock an upgraded cube?

15  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Mining Hardware sites that accept other forms of payment on: January 01, 2014, 12:06:32 AM
I have searched for a list of websites that except other  forms besides.  I don't have any bitcoins yet, and I see a lot of miner websites require bitcoins to purchase their machines.  Is there a list or website that shows who accepts what?

Thanks in advance.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Offline bitcoin Wallet on: December 29, 2013, 08:37:23 PM
I'm looking for a good offline wallet.  Looking for recommendations and experiences.  Thank you.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / I have two questions, looking for answers on: December 29, 2013, 03:38:16 PM
I have two questions:  one around power options and the other is around buying bitcoins to buy miner machines.

First with the power options:

I am looking at alternative power sources for the miner.  Has anyone had any success with either solar panels or wind turbines?

Second with buying mining machines.  I've noticed a couple of mining machines companies only accept btc for their equipment.  What is the best way to get btcs to make these purchases?  I have coinbase now, and I plan on using them to acquire btcs.  Is there another cheaper option than coinbase?

Thank you in advance
18  Other / Beginners & Help / My first post on: December 29, 2013, 03:12:37 PM
Good Morning,

I just wanted to say hi and get my post in here.  Been mining for a couple of weeks and I like what I'm seeing.  Getting ready to make a move on some more hashing power.  We'll see.  I currently have a small mining operation and recognize that I need more power.  One question I do have, how much hashing power can go into a US home before you start having electrical problems?

Thanks in advance.
