1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How to solo mine BitLeu coin - 8 steps simple guide. on: June 17, 2014, 02:40:24 AM

Yes, you can do it too ! Solo mining a coin is not hard, anyone can do it.
Why would you like to solo mine ? As of now we have no available pools and it is hard to find someone that knows how to make a pool for a scrypt-jane coin. The ones that we found, are asking for huge amounts of money. So, please take your time in reading this guide, it is easy to solo mine BitLeu and it might prove profitable in the future.

Step 1. First of all you need to install your BitLeu client. You can download it from here:
https://github.com/testzcrypto/bitleu/releases/tag/1.1.2

Step 2. After installation you need to wait for the client to sync. It might take up to few hours depending on your connection speed.

Step 3. Go to Control Panel --> Folder Options --> View Tab and deselect the checkbox Hide extentions for known file types. Also click Show hidden files, folders and drives radio button.

Step 4. Press Windows Key + R, or click Start --> Run, then input in the box: %Appdata% then press enter. A Windows Explorer window will start that will take you directly to Appdata directory.

Step 5. Click and enter the directory Bitleu. Right click in the empty space and create a new text document called bitleu.conf. The system will ask you to confirm changing the filename extension.

Step 6. Insert this text in the newly created bitleu.conf:

rpcport=22640
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=*
server=1
listen=1

Please use the username and password of your choice, then save the file and restart Bitleu client, waiting for it to sync again.

Step 7. Disable your computer's firewall.

Step 8. Start your miner the same way but instead of stratum+tcp://pooladdress.com:3333 use 127.0.0.1:22640. That is localhost ip address.

Use the username and password chosen in the bitleu.conf that you created earlier.
This step assumes that you already know how to install and configure Thirtybird's yacminer for your specific videocard or any other mining software for scrypt-jane.

It might take a while before the blocks will be found, depending on your hashing power and the difficulty of the network.
If you have a bigger farm and you want to point all the computers in your farm to solo mine directly to the wallet of the main computer, you need to find the local ip address of the maine computer by typing ipconfig in command prompt. Just don't forget to disable your firewall on every computer that is mining and point it to the main computer using the same username and password in bitleu.conf.

Good luck mining and I hope you always stay with us !
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Need compiled Windows client for BitLeu coin, **reward** on: June 02, 2014, 06:11:36 AM
Good day,

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BitLeu, a coin with great opportunity ! Just listed on first exchange ! on: March 25, 2014, 05:32:43 PM
It has just been listed on first exchange, you can find it here:

https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-BTL

There are few things to note:

1. Only around 3.5 million coins outside premine.
2. Developer will certainly never throw any of the premine on the exchange, but use it for further development of the coin and also develop investment opportunities for people owning BitLeu.
3. 45 % of the premine will go to the population but not in a sudden airdrop but in a long time process.
4. It was not made with 'mine and dump' idea in mind, no big rewards at the start for the ones that have their mining rigs ready to profit as much as possible.
5. No IPO and huge investments in marketing and exchanges at launch, then having it drop in value until it's not worth anything anymore. This is long term coin.
6. Very good community support, many people from our country shown interest, there are already businesses that state they will accept it as a currency very soon.
7. There are plans of having already existing 'paypoints' to exchange BitLeu for Leu, the currency issued by the government.

There are more and more coming and showing support, this is only going one way, and that way is not down for sure !
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [BTL] Bitleu reward thread - next auroracoin ? on: March 15, 2014, 01:47:32 PM
Hi everyone,

As one of the first supporters I would like to donate some of my mined coins in order to reach out to other people who might give a value to this coin.
I have strong reasons to believe that this coin will be the next Auroracoin.
I really do expect it to go very high and I have good reasons to believe that.

I will give the following rewards for the ones supporting the coin:

1. Abe block explorer: 20 000 BTL
2. BitLeu faucet: 10 000 BTL
3. Listing us on a good exchange: 50 000 BTL

Expected minimum value for 1 BTL: 0.0001 BTC.
Target value for 1 BTL: 0.0025 BTC.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Trading thread needed for Bitleu - trustable member needed - Rewards on: March 13, 2014, 03:56:13 PM
Hi to all interested people.

I would like to let everyone know that this new 'ethnic' crypto somewhat similar with auroracoin is needing a trading thread before reaching the exchanges.
The Difficulty is reaching 5.14 as of now and steadily increasing thus meaning there are lots of supporters.

As I was discussing with the dev the promotion and next steps, I have received the information that for all supporters there will be a reward at some point in time, probably after it will be listed on exchanges.

Please keep in mind that there are a little less than 1.3 million coins available for trading as of now which means that there will be only one outcome: The coin will sell pretty high ! I am sure that people will hold or just sell very high thus increasing the value of this coin. As of now there are only 180 000 coins mined each day.

I have many reasons to believe that this is going to be very high soon after it will be live on several exchanges.

If there is anyone that did this before and is a trustable member of this forum, just let me know, I am ready to give rewards from my own mined coins.

Thank you !
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Extra pools needed for Bitleu - The cryptocurrency of Romania on: March 13, 2014, 03:49:52 PM
Hi for all the pool owners.

I would like to let everyone know that this new 'ethnic' crypto somewhat similar with auroracoin is needing some extra pools so the hashrate will be split.
The Difficulty is reaching 5.14 as of now and steadily increasing thus meaning there are lots of supporters. It uses scrypt-jane though which is different than scrypt so the pool owners need to be accustomed or knowing how to add this in their pools.
As I was discussing with the dev the promotion and next steps, I have received the information that for all supporters there will be a reward at some point in time, probably after it will be listed on exchanges.

Please keep in mind that there are a little less than 1.3 million coins available for trading as of now which means that there will be only one outcome. The coin will sell pretty high ! I am sure that people will hold or just sell very high increasing the value of this coin. As of now there are only 180 000 coins mined each day.

Thank you everyone !

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Scrypt - Jane coins - The future of mining - high value coins ? (ASIC proof) on: March 02, 2014, 05:03:00 AM
Hi everyone, just wanted to share with everyone what I have observed and also my beliefs regarding the future of the coins.

The coins with a low-minting amount using Scrypt-Jane library algorithms seems like a good investment and mining profit.
They have a chance of suddenly increasing their value as they are severely undervalued.

Example 1: QQcoin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389238.0

As of now it is the most profitable coin which is reaching an all time low on www.coinedup.com and it is soon going to be listed on mintpal.com which will increase it's reach to potential customers.
The difficulty already increased in the past day from 0.028 to 0.036, that is more than 25 %. People are starting to mine it, coupled with the all time low, we might certainly see a sudden increase somewhere in the next week.
There are a lot of fans of QQcoin in China, I can tell you for sure, just waiting to invest in this coin as soon as they will see a little increase of 2x or 3x in the value of the coin, thus bringing it's value to maybe 10x.
The higher  the N-factor will get on this coin, the harder will be to mine and it will require more memory thus making it unfeasible for developing ASICS for such a coin.
The N-factor schedule and memory required for this coin is:
N-factor 12 at 1396157924 is 03/30/2014 5:38am GMT. 1024 Kb
N-factor 13 at 1400352228 is 05/17/2014 6:43pm GMT. 2048 Kb
N-factor 14 at 1404546532 is 07/05/2014 7:48am GMT. 4096 Kb
N-factor 15 at 1421323748 is 01/15/2015 12:09pm GMT. 8192 Kb

Total amount of coins for this one is 30 million. That is very little compared to billions for other coins. This means that at the current value of BTC the total value of 30 million QQC would be  168 000 USD. You can see how severely undervalued this coin is. There is still a lot of coins to be minted and it is not at the end of it's minting like other coins.

Example 2: Yacoin
This coin had a burst of 30 % in value 2 weeks ago and I am sure that in the future it will go much higher.
Mining speed using a R9 290 card is 2.5 kh/sec only ! Just imagine that the same card will have only 1 kh/sec when the next N-factor will come (.
The N-factor schedule and memory required for this coin is:
N-factor 15       1401545632      Sat - 31 May 2014 - 14:13:52 GMT      8192 Kb
N-factor 16       1409934240      Fri - 05 Sep 2014 - 16:24:00 GMT       16384 Kb

Few other coins like this are: Velocitycoin, Ultracoin, Microcoin but I am just listing the most profitable to mine (way more profitable than scrypt coins).

This is just a hint and also an ideea for the miners regarding which direction they should go. My opinion is that we should mine as much as possible, sell some of it but not all. At least sell as much as to produce the profits you have from your scrypt mining as of now and keep the rest. The future is bright !

Good luck everyone !
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [ANN] planned pump and dump - need 10 people with 10 BTC for 6000 BTC income on: February 28, 2014, 05:48:06 AM
Hi all,

I have observed something regarding a specific coin and I would like to find people interested  in increasing their BTC by at least 10 times.
All the amount needed is around 100 BTC.
The reward might be somewhere close to 6000 BTC if done well.
Anyone interested to plan a nice pump ? This coin needs to be raised as it really has value.
Just PM me if interested to do this and if you have the BTC.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [ANN] Happy Farmer - planning new device to keep the GPU farmers happy on: February 23, 2014, 02:57:57 AM
Hi everybody !
I would like to start by telling you how this idea came into my mind.

I have two GPU farms 10 000 kilometers away and it is a pain to manage those when switching coins, especially with scrypt-jane. Power outages and also rig crashes will make the farms lose a lot of money until another 6-8 hours when someone will reach the location to power on/reset the rigs.
So, my idea was to design and build an USB Device that will stay connected to an always on server (on a UPS). The device will be accessed through a web interface or just a SSH to the server and it will have the option to reboot/power ON-OFF the rigs. For the start I will make a device that can connect to 8 rigs for testing purposes but it can be unlimited devices. Basically you just pull jumpers with wires to your motherboard's power on/reset connectors.

Would anyone that has farms and will not live in the same location be interested  in buying such a device using BTC/LTC ? Shipping will be from Europe.
Of course, there will be no pre-orders or scammy business involved, the devices will only be sold after being tested and when they will be in stock (with pictures of the real device).
I want try selling these in order for my father to have some kind of job to work on, as his pension is not enough and it would mean extra income for him.

If anyone would be interested, it's good to PM or reply with the amount of BTC you would be willing to pay for such a device for 8 rigs.

Thank you !
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Lottocoin as a SCAM on: February 01, 2014, 07:21:45 AM
Hi everyone.
Would like to tell you that I have been with lottocoin from the start, but the sad story is that the developers are working together with online casino makers in order to rip people off.
The lotwincasino that they advertise in their starting page is a complete SCAM and rip off, giving you 15 blacks in a raw when you put red so they can harvest as many lottocoins as possible.

The developer 'MrLotto' is saying that we only say these because we are upset that we 'lost money' in that casino (clearly supporting the casino) but in fact, out of the total of 14 million lottocoins I was playing maybe 100K but in many hundreds of games to figure out if it is really a scam or not. Thus I consider 100K lottocoin a very small amount and I do not regret losing it as I found out the truth about that casino, MrLotto and all this coin.

As of now I have sold every lottocoin I had and I advise everyone to do the same as mostly probably the next BIG GAMES they scream about coming in next week are rigged as much as lotwincasino, they just announce many things every week to pump the coin again.

This is only a pump and dump coin and many on the start thread are agreeing with that even if they have been supporting lottocoin from the start.
When they tried to make creative and supporting criticizing, they were sweared at, called that they spread FUD and so on.

As a matter of fact now I am banned from the thread, because they find me 'not supporting the coin' after I have thrown many megahashes at it with the intend to hold the coin for a long long time, maybe even one year plus, with no intention to pump and dump it immediately.

I wish them luck, but people holding lottocoins should know exactly what this coin is about and research more to see that the devs and the online casino owners are somehow related.
They have even bribed one guy to forge the poll results where lottocoin would be added in some important network payment. That guy was having multiple accounts in bitcointalk.org and clicking thru proxies the lottocoin radio button.

This is their way of 'raising' the coin which you can't see in many other coins. I think it is the most rigged coin of all and I advise everyone to get rid of it as probably it has no chance of survival in the future. If you are choosing to hold this, you are choosing to support this network of people that look only into their profit and you will probably not be able to profit. This coin is dubious and I would not trust it for the future.
I would rather keep my money into BTC than buying lottocoin.

Thanks for listening and I know that some other people will come to support me regarding this matter .. also you can read by yourself all the conversations in lottocoin starting thread to see that everything I say is true and they are just sketchy ...

Lottocoin is premined crap with no open book for premined !!! Careful where you put your valuable BTC !
