1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / which codebase should I fork? on: July 23, 2018, 09:32:40 AM
Hi everybody! I want to fork a codebase of an existing blockchain and start a new chain and a new coin, but I don't know which codebase to choose. I started with the idea of forking XVG code, because I like private and public transactions but then since I want a PoS or a consensus or anyway not a PoW coin, and I’d prefer not to create a token (but is still an option), I don’t want to fork XVG codebase anymore and I’m now looking for some other codebase to fork.
So trimming down my few requisites are:
-no PoW
-support for fast transactions
-support for a lot of transactions per second 1000+
The point is having 100% of the coins premined and just distributed among some bots that will always trade them between each other for determined reasons.
I was thinking that for new block generation I have two options:
- each new block gives 100% of the new coins to one predetermined address and if it’s a PoS coin its splits the transaction fee between coin holders
- Each block doesn’t create any new coin but it contains only transaction fee
- the transaction fee will be a fixed a 10% on each transaction and not linked to the weight of the transaction data.
Ofc i need to modify the blockchain to make it work exactly as i want, but i want to start from something that doesn’t require me too much work
Any suggestion on which one should I use?
Thanks for your help!

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ASUS Prime z270-A , PCIe lanes division among CPU and Chipset on: February 18, 2018, 07:59:39 PM
Hi, i have a z270 a and i was wondering which PCIe lane are connected to the CPU and which are to the chipset.
Unfortunately the manual says nothing at all.
I'm currently at 13 GPU, but i want to get more on the board. I know there are a few lanes left, gotta found them.

Anyone that knows how the lanes are split?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Suggestion for boot auto overclock for mixed AMD NVIDIA with 10 GPU - Windows on: February 03, 2018, 12:01:29 AM
Hi fellas
i'm having some issues with my 2 windows 10 rigs on the OC side.
One has 3x1070ti and 7xRX5804Gb (diffrent miners are set)
The other 8x1070

I've been using ASUS  overclocker to OC the cards but the settings are not remembered after reboot, they both go back to Gaming.
Claymore OC settings does not work on my RX, no idea why. MSI afterburner can't handle that many cards

What can i do to be sure that both rigs are OC as intended at start?
What kind of tool should i use?
Thanks
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Can't connect more than 1 Nvidia :Code 43 on: January 18, 2018, 08:34:38 AM
Hi all
i'm testing a rig with a 1070 asus strix and a 1070 msi aero itx, if i plugg them one by one they work fine, but if togh. they just won't work. Device manager shows 2 cards but one has the alert symbol and is not detected by the miner
what to do?

3 cards is the same (2*MSI)
Only the primary works, 2nd and 3rd code 43
