1  Other / Beginners & Help / Some points for newbies to ponder on: December 18, 2013, 08:42:05 PM
Some things I've learned over the years of stock and commodity trading.
1. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.
2. You swing for the fences you will most likely strike out.
3. Buy the rumor sell the fact.
4. Don't trade your whole stack at once, learn to scale and average your wins and loss.
5. Learn to read the charts and recognize trends, just because you want to get long, the rest may be getting       short.
6. Learn what it means to "paint the tape" and how to identify it.
7. If you plan to trade on an exchange all other traders are against you and will beat you out of your coin.
8. All exchange traders lie about positions and funds.
9. Control your emotions or you will be chopped up.
10. Don't trade bigger then you can handle.

Most of all, Have fun!!
