41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Heard about bZrx? on: July 14, 2020, 06:49:35 PM
Hey guys, some time ago, I was asked by one of my friends to invest in bZrx protocol as they believed that this project had huge potential. Later on, it went through some hack but still investors kept believing in it as the team didn't stop the work behind the project. The pre-sale then was done at the price of 7k gwei per bZrx token and currently, it's worth $0.12.

My queries are -
Have you invested in this already?
Did you invest early or you've bought it after getting listed at idex?
Would you suggest to get in now?
Did you (early bird) already sell your stuff at 10-30x and are sitting back with your profits? Or are you guys waiting for the price to make a new ATH?
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Watch out for QLC. on: June 23, 2020, 04:31:47 PM
I have been watching this coin closely and it has not risen up yet, but broke some major support levels and entered bullish trend. Makes me feel like this should go at least towards 400 sats before it drops back again, and if it doesn't, then 630 sats should be the next target this beast may move towards. Pay close attention, it is going up slowly and chances are, we could see a pump any time soon. Though, this is not a "buy" advice as I'll just say - do it at your discretion.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Where are the Bitcoin PTCs, PPM, PPC and RevAdShare Sites gone? on: May 26, 2020, 08:49:56 PM
For your info,
PTC - Paid to clicks
PPM - Paid per 1000 impressions
PPC - Paid per clicks
RevAdShare - Revenue Ad sharing websites

All these types of sites were available before when BTC used to be under $1000, where have they gone now? Do you guys know about the current state on their existence as of now?
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is 51% attack a crime? on: April 21, 2020, 09:36:59 PM
I've been seeing so many debates about a 51% attack as well as its costs and everything else. Now, I'd like to ask this whether it should be considered a crime that is done to potentially harm / kill the network as well as destroy BTC? Can somebody, after attacking BTC, mine all the BTC in an hour or so? Can everyone become helpless to just stop their mining operations completely whenever such a situation arise? What if the attacker decides to pull out USDT against BTC and sends his coins to an exchange? Will the exchange accept the coins? Can he even make nay money by conducting such a highly expensive operation? Will somebody be even interested in making money from this or the sole intention would just be the destruction of BTC as well as the network, and to gain Monopoly and establish the rules of centralization in crypto world?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Do you use crypto.com? on: March 17, 2020, 08:33:36 PM
Actually, I encountered an advert of this website over Blockchain while checking a transaction recently, and read that they are allowing their users to buy XTZ (Tezos) at 50% off ($500k allocated for this) on 17-18 March only. If you are a user of crypto.com, can you please confirm if this is true?
46  Economy / Speculation / BTC made a move above $10k today due to this? on: February 11, 2020, 07:43:39 PM
I saw an announcement made some time ago that Bitfinex was going to have a maintenance mode today, so did it apparently served as a reason for BTC to make a jump above $10k once again? According to their tweet 3 hours ago, their maintenance was successfully finished. Shall we conclude that it was a mild pump that's over now or was it a sign of the bullish revert once again?
47  Other / Beginners & Help / [BUSTED] A new type of scam has arrived. on: January 03, 2020, 11:19:05 AM
Hi friends, here I'm, your brother Stedsm with an updated version of a scam you all may not be aware of, as well as may also get trapped if I don't make you aware of it. So, let's start without any more shit.

Today, I was contacted by a person named Hamsi Puerta (written in his telegram name).
Unknown to me completely, I asked him who is he? He replied that he is Peter from Canada. I never knew any such guy during my whole life, so I asked him what's the matter. He asked me whether I know about crypto and would like to earn some bitcoins? I thought to go ahead with the conversation as I wanted to know if it's a new type of scam or old school again so I said Yes. He asked me to visit https://betxloot.com/, a place where you need to bet some BTC which will convert and show USD instead in the total jackpot, each round seems to be of 2 minutes which starts when at least 2 players place bets each. So, he told me that he is from their support team and he came to know about a flaw that, even though the algorithm of the website chooses a random winner every time, this flaw could fetch him constant wins during each round. He told me that he can't play with his BTC as his addresses and transactions are being monitored by the team as he looked suspicious to them and so, he wants me to play it there on their website and he'll make me a winner every time or every 3-4 rounds. He then asked me to go to the site and give him any player's name I want to choose as a winner, so I gave him and he did what he said exactly, he just made that player a winner of that round.

The catch starts now
After a long story of what I saw and how he tried to convince me, I just asked him to get to the point and let me know what do I need to do. He asked me to make a new account there and deposit BTC0.01 to their site and play, then he'll make me a winner whenever I'll place a bet. I said that I don't have BTC so if you want, you can send me some and I'll bet with yours and we can share 50-50. He started abusing and then just deleted the whole chat history and blocked me as well as deleted the chat too, so unfortunately I couldn't capture the images as it didn't took a second for him to delete everything.

How can it be a scam?
Well, 3 things are for sure:
- He is trying to lure you to play with your money on their site and even if you win, they don't pay you anything and it may prove scam as the website came into existence on 23-11-2019 (check their whois) while we don't have any reviews nor heard about then ever before.
- He is trying to bring players to their website through all this shit he talked in front of me.
- He may not make you a winner and you may lose all of your capital, or he may just show you 3-4 wins and ask you to bet all, you go all in and bang, you're fucked.

Whatever, if you are going to play there, DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, I'm not recommending you to play there at all and it's not a game for small fishes as minimum bet itself is BTC0.01 /jk
Don't fall for these schemes, especially newbies. I've tried my best to elaborate the situation I faced so that you may not suffer but in the end, it's your mind and your choice so use your brain wisely.
48  Economy / Speculation / Aren't we headed towards getting a 10k (or maybe higher) shot again? on: November 07, 2019, 10:52:24 PM
I've witnessed that the wicks (abnormal buys/sells) have already taken place in the form of sell (see 1H chart on Binance) and the flag is still not broken towards any side. What do you believe this to be? A bull flag that's yet to shoot BTC to a much higher price than even 10k? This is what happened the last time when it started forming from 7444 area between June - July, 2019 and was shot up to 13970 forming a pole, but it went sideways (or I'd say range bound) for some time with a few small movements that included those 10% dumps and furthermore. Then it broke down to 7800 and 7300 further even after the bull flag pattern. Do you think it'll be opposite this time taking us to a new high for this year? It's November and based on my calculations, BTC had always risen upwards during the last 2 months of any year. What do you think about this?
49  Other / Meta / @theymos, if you can decay merits, why can't you refill / recharge them? on: October 28, 2019, 10:02:35 AM
I am not one of those who are coming here to fight you, but I want to put this question because I've been watching many good posts and I don't want to send links to merit sources to merit them as they may or may not do it if they like / don't like it. Another thing is, I'm not interested in begging for sMerits at all because then, it's not worth it to send them to the deserving ones because those merits will be said as came to me as a charity.

Now, when you can decay as it's all under your authority, isn't it possible for you to add sMerits to active merits senders' profiles and see if they actively do it ahead or not? And if I don't do it, just decay them after a given timeline to me? When you can set a timeline for bans and everything, why not set a deadline for the use of merits too? This will also speed up spending of sMerits a bit more. Anyways, I'm a nobody when it comes to suggesting anything to you @theymos, but being a good user of your forum, I thought I should tell you how it feels when we see a good deserving post but can't send them merits due to being out of sMerits. It's just like a guy watching a food item, wishes to buy it but when searching on his pocket, finds nothing. Sad

Profile of Vadi2323

Lately, I've been getting attacked again by one of the most mentally-challenged people who don't give a fuck to their deeds and start pushing and provoking us in a debate we don't even want to have with them. This guy accused me pf signature spamming which I didn't do, but what he did should really be considered as unethical in terms of sending merits and especially sending PMs to me with all his bullshit arguments I'm not even worried to know about.

One by one all his PMs, out of which I replied over 2 just so to make this Russian pig believe that I don't just post for money. But then, he just started insulting from the first message he sent me and believes he'd get respect from me? A middle finger in his ass in the name of respect.

Tы жe нe шлюxa пoдпиcнaя, вepнo? И ecли пepeживaeшь тaк зa py-лoкaл, знaчит ты нe пpoтив пoлyчить oтвeты нa cвoи вoпpocы в ПM. Yeah, I'm not a whore but you're a true slut, I can say that.
I never expected you to bark behind the wall but roar like a lion publicly but you couldn't even defend yourself because you know from your inner self that what you did is unjustifiable. If you believe I sig-spammed, go fuck with your "Report to Moderator" button in that thread. As well, please don't take the pain of sending me PMs in any other language except English. And yeah, that phrase suits you a lot, "When a thirsty fox became unable to reach the heights of the tree to gain some grapes, he started barking 'Grapes are sour, grapes are sour' and that's you".

Cyдя пo твoeмy oткpoвeннoмy cooбщeнию этoмy, в кoтopoм ты yжe дeмoнcтpиpyeшь пoлнoe oтcyтcтвиe интepeca к мepитaм в py-лoкaлe, тaки ты пpocтюшeнция пoдпиcнaя. Я жe тaкиx кaк ты cpaзy вижy. Fuck your brain with your mentality, sucker.
If you believe I'm a sig-spammer, think it that way and satisfy your ego. Cheesy
And yeah, I didn't give a damn to ru-locale (based on your thinking) because you're underemployed to do so, huh? I saw the type of posts you've merited, and by calling me a whore and prostitute, you believe that I'm open to discussing things with ya, take my long dick in your fluffy stuffed ass and then, GTFO. Stop ranting because you've not done anything that's worth it.

A кaк ты мoжeшь пoнять, oбocнoвaннo я зaмepитил или нeт, ecли ты нe читaeшь и нe пoнимaeшь пo-pyccки? Oтвeт: никaк. тeм нe мeнee ты пишeшь yкзaния, чтo и кaк мнe дeлaть. Heck, he doesn't even know about his own responsibilities and now trying to provoke me to get into an unnecessary discussion by continuous bullshit over PM. Can this attack be stopped or do I need to take steps from my end? I guess the guy's gone mad over me as I'm the victim for all his bullshit today and he wanted to eat up my brain.  Huh
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Adoption! Finally? on: September 20, 2019, 10:28:16 PM
We have lately been seeing a lot of big names dipping their fingers into the sweet profitable sauce through Bitcoin's variations and tasting it nicely these days. Names coming out are some of the highly used apps in terms of daily consumption of data through their customers over these apps:

- Japan's Messaging giant Line launches an in-built crypto exchange for their 80M userbase.

https://www.coindesk.com/line-officially-launches-crypto-exchange-for-80-million-users-in-japan

- Telegram raised $1.7 billion for its TON token development and released code recently as well as Coinbase is considering on adding it to their exchange.

https://www.coindesk.com/telegram-finally-releases-code-for-its-1-7-billion-ton-blockchain

- Japan's Retail Giant, also known as the "Amazon of Japan", Rakuten has officially launched a crypto exchange where they have now allowed spot trading services to their 850M customers.

And many more...

Still need anything more to believe that Bitcoin is actually being adopted worldwide and everyone has now started taking advantage of this old-yet-highly addictive global cryptocurrency (asset) already?

Finally, something great is gonna come to us, Bitcoiners.
52  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Is there a safe custom ROM with blockchain-based DApps? on: September 18, 2019, 03:28:16 PM
My friend has a Realme 2 Pro smartphone and the stock ROM that he's using, i.e.; ColorOS 6 is not too much cool and disliked by him and me too when I used his smartphone for 3 days. Now, he wants to learn some stuff about Bitcoin and blockchain and interested in some blockchain-based DApps, but he seems to have some fear that a few apps may come with some sort of malware (he's a bit lazy and not interested in researching about it), so he's looking for a custom ROM which he wants to install - that must have blockchain-related apps come inbuilt with it. He hates the OS software updates that come every now and then in ColorOS and wishes to get freed from its torture.

At one point, my brain asked me a question that I would like to ask too.

Is it seriously safe for the smartphone if we change the Stock ROM with a newly installed custom ROM?

Does all the data remain safe and in the smartphone itself even after the installation of custom ROM?
53  Other / Beginners & Help / What are Merits to you? on: September 10, 2019, 01:34:04 PM
IMHO, Merits to me are clearly nothing, yeah nothing. With that said, it is but something of an important value to me till I saw something and so, I stopped thinking a lot about the same. Again for me, Merits are nothing but a token, a reward that you get when your post is liked by someone on the basis of some part of humor and some part of your knowledge that you present in that post.

Merits are rewards for your brilliance.

To me, it is also a responsibility of a user to get the cycle go on by circulating them continuously while giving / sharing them with the most hilarious and humorous people around.

Merits bring responsibility with that reward to circulate and spread them amongst the best.

Now, why I don't like it and don't think of it too much, anymore!

The reason this Merits thing has become tragic for me is due to the fact that I've seen too many people getting merited for using slangs like (Fuck your mother, fuck you, fuck this, fuck that) kinda bullshit and many more shit that you can't even imagine that "Hey, did this post deserve a merit?" So, after seeing that the system made by theymos is good but people are misusing it in their own way, I stopped caring a lot about this thing. Obviously everyone have their own choices to give it to anyone for anything including all this shit, but then, I don't believe Merits to be a measurement to judge anybody's character, quality of posts or their behavior (like I said, it's kinda "LIKE" feature button for me).

Merits in today's time cannot be used to measure anyone's posting quality but just limited to being used as LIKES.
54  Economy / Speculation / Did fear cause that sharp dump? on: August 30, 2019, 04:42:34 PM
We all know how Judge ordered Craig Wright to pay $5 billion to Ira Kleiman (where people were fearing of an average of $2 billion dump in BTC if she decides to redeem that USD). Though, CSW is not Satoshi and hence, he's got nothing (at least not what's ordered) to pay Ira Kleiman such a huge amount. I want to ask that whether the fear of being dumped with a lot of BTC helped the trend to move backwards and break down to near $9k?

55  Bitcoin / Project Development / I want to make an AdWords-style website. on: August 29, 2019, 06:36:01 PM
All of you who know that advertisement industry has grown to some extensive levels that it is advertising medium's best source to generate and share revenues to many different advertisers who trust them and you must be aware that Google AdWords is one great platform that has captured almost all types of advertisers and even publishers (through AdSense). Now, I want to create a platform that has everything in it, from blockchain to trustless advertising that does the job automatically while including Bitcoins here. Every single moment, value of CPM and RPM changes and there change the costs based on Geo-locations because of the targeted audiences as well as the difference between developed and developing countries. So, I need something that can help me fluctuate those values in BTC as well (maybe we'll peg it to USD for better results) where everything will be transparent and where cost of clicks and impressions will be described openly. I'm open to more suggestions as to what should I exactly look for in order to start it from scratch but make it reach to the heights of success?
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Buying Amazon Gift cards with BTC? Beware! on: July 16, 2019, 05:02:05 PM
Actually, there's a lot of demand regarding such digital and/or physical gift cards which gives thieves a chance to make their move and lay down a trap for newbies and even experienced guys with a great need for this thing. You should be extremely careful while dealing with these sellers and only look for the most trustworthy person who is actually in business whether you try to find one over this forum or somewhere else. Although, I've seen even most trusted users turning into scammers, let's talk about how they can scam you:

- By either giving you a used gift card number
- Or giving you a gift card worth less than what's promised
- Worst would be when they leave you without giving anything to you and just run away with your BTC,

And as you know, BTC is irreversible so you can't even claim anything back. So, be very much aware of the purchases you make and always look for a very trustworthy guy to purchase such things. I won't advice about any escrow because my experience says that nobody will accept to become an escrow for such deals due to the fact that they can't check the gift card for you and they won't bet their dignity for some bucks where you may come up and say that the escrow cheated you by redeeming the code himself.
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Do high-paying campaigns pose a threat to the community? on: July 12, 2019, 05:58:32 PM
I'm not against high-paying campaigns, seriously but history has witnessed something different, something that tasted bitter in the end. Let's begin here:

1. YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily)

A campaign that started in 2015 which gave everyone the opportunity to earn up to BTC0.18 each month while letting the users spam the hell out here for years. It came back in 2019 with the same intention (probably) while allowing the same amount of BTC earnings per day here - YoBit Signature Campaign (Bitcointalk) Unofficial thread which got many spammers banned for spamming again to earn more. There are many scam accusations against this exchange to date.

2. [BetKing] Signature Campaign | Fixed | Full Member - Legendary (Over/Closed)

One of the highest paying campaigns during 2016 paying up to BTC0.04 each week, Betking had their campaign closed due to some issues with their players. They came back later but went off early due to the fact that its admin scammed a lot of investors.

3. ❃❃ ▶▷ BETCOIN.ag ◁◀ ❃❃#Signature Campaign-High Pay, Monthly Bonus, Special Award

Began in 2015, it gave everyone the opportunity to earn up to BTC0.26 (which lowered down later when it was turned into a fixed pay campaign but the pay was still good considering payments up to $170 per month. Everything was going smooth until a user won an exceptional amount and Betcoin changed their terms of service immediately so not to give the winnings to the winner, and are now proven scammers.

4. [CFNP] LiveCoin Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary Members | Up to 0.02BTC/Week

I don't think I need to give any big description about this as it's the most recent one that doesn't need an introduction. Livecoin started off great by giving the users of its signature an amazing BTC0.02 few days back, but the campaign went off once the curtains fell down off their villainous behavior.

Do you believe that most of the high-paying campaigns have wrong intentions set behind their back and they start becoming shady after being set up fully?

Not bragging about, but I'm really glad as well as proud to be a part of one of the highest paying campaigns - Chipmixer as they've got no issues or scam accusations against them till date.
58  Other / Beginners & Help / [GUIDE] Don't ask others to BUY BTC for you! on: July 11, 2019, 01:47:31 PM
My uncle is a millionaire in terms of our local currency here in India, so he doesn't get much time to watch and even buy anything on his own and gives all such work to his secretary.

The problem!
We all have got some problems in our lives and we need to deal with them, but sometimes some people choose the wrong way. Greed gets us to commit the wrong deeds that we've never meant to be done through our hands. His secretary came to know about a person selling BTC for cheap. He went ahead to save on some bucks by trying to buy BTC for cheap but he didn't knew there's a term we know as "carding". The person who was offering cheap BTC was a carder and he was asking for just 50% (3250) of the ongoing market price ($6500 then), so the secretary thought that he could save 50% from this deal and keep for himself as he was doing it all under greed. But as the phrase goes, truth prevails. He actually bought the BTC but before giving it to my Uncle, he got arrested by the Police. How? Actually, he involved a partner in this deal (this came into light after he got arrested) and both of them had a deal to share 50-50 but the secretary cut his words off by breaking the deal and keeping everything with him. Thanks to that partner who went to the Police and told them everything about this as he wanted that if he didn't get anything, he won't let that guy keep everything. And not to forget, the carder also got arrested as some of the Police guys tried to contact and catch him and they were successful.

This is a lesson learned by both the secretary and his partner and I thank Lord for saving my Uncle from all this mess. Even my Uncle learnt from this that we cannot blindly trust anybody and we should do our deeds ourselves.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / WTS my smartphone but I've got crypto in it. HELP! on: July 05, 2019, 07:18:46 AM
One different question than what I've asked here

I've got a smartphone that's gone old and I wanna sell it so that it helps me pay at least 1 EMI for my next new smartphone. Well there's a catch, I've got all my crypto and privkeys as well as wallets (even exchange apps) installed in my current smartphone but to my knowledge, I think the new owner is able to fetch almost everything if he knows about crypto or he's got any sort of technical knowledge about how to restore everything or at least something that I used to have in my smartphone even after factory-resetting it without keeping any backups in that smartphone.

Is that possible at the first place?
If yes, should I even sell it to anyone or not? If yes, what type of preventive measures should be taken to assure myself that my crypto is safe after my smartphone is sold and given to the buyer?
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Don't FOMO in if you don't have what it takes - PATIENCE! on: July 03, 2019, 02:22:54 PM
One of my friends bought BTC when it reached $13.5k (yes, he FOMO'd in at very high rate).

After that, BTC crossed $13950 and almost reached $14k (though it didn't touch there) and that was his target but missed by some bucks.

And here comes the dump which shot down BTC to $9800 (yesterday) and he just lost his patience and sold off everything (what a chaotic loss of more than 30%) and it was actually predicted - https://www.ccn.com/opinion/day-trader-warns-of-impending-40-bitcoin-price-drop/2019/06/28/

I told him about this and asked him to wait but he sold off everything without letting me know. Now, he's regretting for his wrong decisions. I'd suggest you to think at least 10 times before investing because if you don't have the appetite to hold on during your losses, trust me you don't deserve a f**k in profits. Patience is the key and it pays off, it is actually paying off those who bought during 2017-18 highs but held their investments without touching it.
